However I don't agree with the assertion that the behavior of the marauding, expansionists means that the political manifestations of Islamic dogmatism is in any way intrinsic to Islam.. The islamists who you apparently rage against are not the same as people who are Islamic and proud of the scientific achievements that came under and flourished within the intellectual pursuits that Islamic theology fostered. 2. Islamic scholars pursued sciences because in the early days of Islam the pursuit of truth was a noble ideal 3. Islamists in the modern context within which you are employing the term reject the scientific pursuits and achievements of historical Arab intellectuals 4. Your whole sentence is also wrong because they did not develop existing traditions of Arab and Persian scholars but actually, they were largely influenced by Greek philosophy such as Socrates, Aristotle etc.. Your prejudice demonstrates your lack of willing to get to the facts or even scratch beneath the surface.

    @jkvlondon Moreover what I find particularly interesting is that no where in bani or any writings of sikh scholars Muhamed is spoken of as a rapist.. Why would guru nanak dev ji travel to mecca, (if you believe that sakhi) if he thought Muhamed was a rapist, why would guru arjun Dev Ji invite a follower of a rapist Mian Mir to lay the foundation at Harmandir Sahib, why would guru gobind Singh Ji keep relations with Pir Baba bhuddu shah if he followed such people? Can you please address this issue?

Firstly the soldiers and police operating in panjab included many who were Sikh.. Kps Gill Secondly tytler and sajjan didn't kill thousands of Sikhs, rather they facilited, oversaw and directed the pogroms in which mobs killed Sikhs in Delhi. Thirdly what is your point? Even many of the militants themselves have spoken about going to Pakistan and training, bomb making etc..
