  1. upload meaningful photos, photos can be very powerful, moving, motivating etc or sad and questioning, or just beautiful photography that is pleasant to look at.
  2. its interesting you say that because most my cousins are 38+ and their parents are hoarders, exactly how you described it. e.g my mama who came here in the early 70s married my mami who was born in this country in the 50s and they both are hoarders! their house is falling apart and it looks like a car boot sale! there is so much clutter in their house that my mami could probably qualify for those bbc tv shows about hoarders. she has this weird collection of dolls probably from the 60s and 70s she still keeps clothes, furniture and what not which is decades old. her salwar suits are from like back in the 90s and her cardigans even older! yet they have more money than us stashed in their bank! my mami once came around our house with ripped shoes and my mum through them in the bin and my mami was chasing after my mum because she still wanted those shoes LMAO she was actually running! when we were kids my mum actually used to buy clothes and shoes for my mami. she doesnt throw anything! shes still got curtains from the 80s my mami was born in the UK Southampton in the 50s and i think the country was still probably recovering from the war so people probably rationed a lot? idnno but these habits never go iv noticed the same thing in a lot of older relatives. but i dont judge it, they belong to a different generation, different times and different upbringing and struggles, thats whats shaped them i guess.
  3. yh 1 sister shes helps parents a lot as well, she helps even more than i do lol
  4. yup our highstreet used to be full of shops owned by afghan sikhs, but highstreets dead now as rents have gone ridiculously high
  5. i am self reliant! i even buy my own food! i even buy things for the house like i buyed new radiators for the house about a year back, im always buying small things for the house now and then. clothes i buy i obviously pay for myself. my dad wears safety boots at work and he needs new ones every couple of months and i always buy him new ones from online. etc i think parents end up in a habit of where they still feel like being responsible in a good way and giving money even when your older. just today my mum told to look for a new vacuum cleaner online and im probably gnna pay for that as well. in the last store i worked in i used get discount and used to buy house/kitchen stuff for my mum all the time. on the other hands, no joke, but i have cousins who steal money from their own parents wallets! and then their parents come to my mum because they are upset.
  6. i dont know what it is, maybe it is that they have these weird ideas in their heads of what the punjabi shop owners might think if they walk into a punjabi shop to buy stuff lol idnno maybe they think if they buy cheap stuff in the shop other punjabis are gnna judge? idnno most the local shops around the corner from my house are owned by punjabis from india apart from this one ladies asian clothes shop which is owned by a british punjabi couple. other shops owned by apne are a fish and chips shop, baths/toilets/shink shop, 2 betting shops!!, indian sweets shop, couple of more ladies asian wear shops, 2 grocery stores, launderette, 2 barbers, mechanic, meat shop, around 3 or 4 ladies beauty/makeup places, new egg less cake shop just opened. theres 1 pakistani grocery store and they also have 1 meat shop and two halal takeaways. rest is all owned by punjabis business is healthy around here.
  7. lol hes funny. i was in the garden throughout most of the day. went shopping with mum in the early morning and wore rubber gloves. i just cant w8 till this whole thing is over.
  8. im not sure but where always being watched. i remember a few yrs back i was talking to the ticket man on the train and he told me how there are cameras, mostly hidden cameras everywhere, and theres people sitting on the other side of the cameras 24/7. People who jump onto trains to get off at stations with no barriers and being seen in the cameras but they dont do anything he said, because the hidden cameras in the trains and everywhere else are there for other reasons, he then was like he cant say to much. everything is already there, cameras, cashless, etc its just hasn't been put into full swing. do you remember when it was in the news that people can spy on you from your Samsung tv cameras! wtff!! we used to have a samsung tc with the camera thing on it and i put a tape over it lol
  9. yh absolutely, but what i mean is that some Punjabis have this weird thing of not going to the shop owned by the Punjabi but go to the shop nxt door owned by the pakistani or gorah instead. I dont know why some punjabis do that like iv seen punjabis buy meat from the halal shop when there is a meat shop owned by punjabis just 10 shops down. prices are the same but they just dont want to buy from the shop owned by punjabis. its weird.
  10. LMAO 27 my folks are really overreacting to this whole virus thing haha i think its coz i used have asthma until around 2 or 3 years back and they think im gnna catch the virus lol im always out and about so this lock down thing is starting to get to me.
  11. My dad told me off because I went to the local shops. I got bored at home and went local shops to buy besan and red bull lol! bumped into my mami as well she was looking for loo roll in Tesco's! What's it with people and loo roll! Most people I saw were wearing masks.
  12. Agree, people are not being able to see for what it is. It's important to support small local businesses. Sikhs should support local sikh businesses. Yup this virus thing is definitely gnna just push the cashless even more, already in the media they are advising us to use cards and not cash to "prevent the virus from spreading" They use fear and always have used fear.
  13. What is all this technology that we are falling for and praising being led too? All technology being created is just a test run up to something else imo being led to something else. Whatever it is I hope it happens when we die! I dnt wanna se it !
  14. The long term affect is gnna be economic not health wise. Massive economic crash ahead, perhaps this is what the purpose is? Look at what's already happened to business... especially small businesses, only "businesses" that are not gnna get effected are massive colossal international ones like amazon. A complete different kind of people own business like amazon in comparison to even big national businesses. Iv seen vids talking about things like a cashless society.
  15. The last store I worked in shut down, it was several floors. On the 2nd floor right at the bottom of the escalator there was a triangle with a capital G in it. It was yellowish gold in colour. Out high street is dyeing almost dead empty shops everywhere, interestingly our store was the 1st was bought by the council. Of all the empty store buildings that have been shut for nearly 10s years they only bought this one. We think the positioning of ot under the escalator, basically stairs, symbolised something too. Councils are dodgy and involved in all of this stuff. Freemasons at the top of the chain are dodgy and do sacrifices and all sorts of demonic stuff . The regular ones are just normal ordinary people. Its who at the top which is not.
  16. The other day it was the pope, he said he asked god to end the virus.
  17. ISIS calls on God to 'increase coronavirus torment' of non-believers https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8145951/ISIS-calls-God-increase-coronavirus-torment-non-believers.html?ito=native_share_article-top LOL
  18. News/media is just used as a distraction for what is actually going on. They are just distraction stories or a small piece of the bigger picture which never gives away the motive. Stories like the ISIS bride who wants to come back to uk, these stories are used as distractions from something that is going on, the whole country was talking about that piece of rubbish woman for a entire month, celebs got involved, day time breakfast shows, politicians everywhere for an entire month was distracted by that story, it only was a distraction from something that was going on.
  19. Just came back from Tesco's and was talking to this lady that I know who works there and she was sayin the same thing. China upto dodgy stuff.
  20. That's a tool they use spreading fear and panic. That's the state of mind they want to create among man. No one should fall for for the panic. Not sure it seems to be something going on between the west and china, one of them has created it and planted it in the other. The whole thing just dont make sense, india has the biggest population in the world, high population density, lack of hygiene, diseases everywhere etc yet only around 30 something deaths it's not a targeted country. It's something going on between china and the west. And Iran for some reason has been targeted as well
  21. not sure its written by this girls dad
