I was actually just sitting infront of the computer screen and saw a MSN window pop up saying 'Happy Birthday Guru Gobind Singh Ji'. Although it is really good to see Sikh Sangatta celebrate Guru Sahib's Parkash dihaara, but one saddening thing is to see how many, even educated, Sikhs are referring to this purb as 'birthday' of Guru Sahib. First of all, saying today is Guru ji's birthday is a very derogatory statement. How can Guru Gobind Singh Ji, who is ajunee take birth? And it is exactly like saying Guru Ji is still in bandhans of jeevan/birth and maran/death, which is very blasphemous. It's a request to all sangatta to only refer to such purbs as either Parkash or Avtar Purb/Dihaara.. vaaheguru ji ka khalsa vaaheguru ji ki fateh

I dont' see anything wrong with having a wedding outside the actual Gurdwara Sahib complex as long as you follow the precautions that you have posted in your message. The akal takhat sahib hukamnaama is to not take Guru ji's saroop to pubs but if you find a suitable place then it should be ok. The thing we need to keep in mind when arranging somethign like this is that do not put so much emphasis on the location or anything else other than Guru Sahib. If you happen to worry too much about the surroundings than that's what people are going to pay most of the attention to and according to my opinion that would be wrong because the center of attraction should only be Guru Granth Sahib ji, not even the bride or the groom.

ok since Gurjeet Kaur did get the permission I will post one picture from the raen subaae (after the wedding) but i'm making it small in size so phain ji has 'less' reasons to get mad, if she does..

Akhand Kirtani Jatha of California will also be holding a raen subaae on the 7th in Livingston, CA. Hopefully I'll get to attend this year because last year was just amazing!!! It was so good to hear that Baba Seva Singh Ji of Rampurkhera himself asked Jatha to organize a raen subaae in California just like it's always done in Punjab a day before the Barsi.

That means u need increase it from the above column.

Trying increase the maximum value for virtual memory. Under the virual memory options you'll see a column saying: "total paging file size ..." check and see if your current allocated size is more than the recommended value.

maybe ur computer is set to custom virtual memory settings which u or someone else might have set at sometime. To change them back, right click on 'my computer', properties -> Advance -> Proformance. Make sure you click "let windows choose what's best for my computer" unless u have ur own needs to set custom settings. Then go to Advance and on the bottom u'll see a virtual memory option. Click on the change button and there u may increase the size of virtual memory available to your computer. Mine is set to maximum 1920, which is the default for my version of Windows Xp.
