    You can be as advanced as a country as you want but if your food source is controlled by a few then your people are at the mercy of those few. Without food their is no life unless you want to eat your smartphones.

    idky but i cannot leave punjab and forget about it because to me it is the land where our gurus originated from and spread the truth. It is like a part of my soul because i associate it with our gurus and religion just like Muslims have mecca as their holy land. I think we need to be clever and think about solutions . We did it in the past and i think we can do it again but we have to have faith and determination.

    Yup we need to resist these corporations as much as possible. The greed for money makes people do unimaginable things. So many of these corporations can help with world hunger but why would they ? Their goal is not to benefit humans but to squeeze us for as much profit they can make . They dont care if our planet is destroyed as long as they make money.

    Idk alot about the farm laws other than the msp scandal which i fully agree will be bad for farmers as i have no trust in corporations and we all know about the law and order in india but having our land under corporations is very dangerous. Once corporations control the source of food they control us humans. I am definitely not in favor of giving so much control to corporations as we all know their main goal is to make as much profit as possible at the expense of humans but someone on twitter was saying how since alot of young people from villages in punjab are moving out of india who will do the farming back home in the future.

    naah not those our community as a whole. people thought we would be fine in india so we trusted that we would be fine being under another group of people who have been forever trying to change our religion.

    Our biggest mistake was trusting any other group other than our own. This is so strange. How is asking for a separate country being a terrorist. Do canadians call people from quebec or alberta terrorists because they want their own country?

    Indian born sikhs are too damn materialistic and only think about money. They dont even care about their daughters marrying non sikhs. There was a documentary on youtube showing a sikh women married to a hindu and how she could not raise her child to be like a khalsa and lo and behold it had so many dislikes from hindus saying how this is anti hindu blah blah sikhs and hindus are same. Problem with indian born sikhs is they are too brainwashed into believing that they and hindus are the same so they dont see anything wrong in following anti sikh rituals or ending sikhi in their bloodline through marrying out. Fools i would say. Imagine having the gift of being born into sikhi and then throwing it away. I hate how hindus have to insert themselves into everything related to sikhs. We cant even make documentaries about our religion to teach our youth without these people always trying to tell us what is wrong and right.

    The problem with us is our roots have become very weak because the previous generations did not pass on sikhi at all. I mean i see people who come to canada from villages in punjab and you can barely see any sikhi in them. I sometimes have no hope in them passing on sikhi to their kids who will be born here. My parents barely taught me anything about sikhi just made me memorise paath and told some stories. But sikhi is spritiual and cannot just be understood by memorizing paath. We need to understand what the paath that we are saying everyday means. What it is telling us and how to implement it in our lives. Thats where we fail because the parents dont know anything and only teach surface level stuff to kids who then think its all about rituals.We dont have strong roots anymore. Sikhi is not as easy as just believe in jesus and you are saved. You have to keep learning and evolving and understanding throughout your life. But when majority of these people are not emotionally intelligent you cant really expect them to be strong in sikhi because they barely understand it. I see my own aunt(father's sister) who barely teaches her kids anything about sikhi. When they were young she would make them memorize paath, telling names of gurus and stories( which is not bad) but the kids barely know what the paath that they say everyday means. And to top it all of my aunt herself probably doesnt understand what the paath says because her behavior is so anti sikh like including being obsessed with money, parent's property show off, drinking wine and thinking you are modern. Its so sad and is quite evident that she does not understand an iota of sikhi although she does read paath from gutka everyday. They have made it into rituals where you just read paath and god will help you. They dont understand anything. Im sometimes worried about my cousins because they live in alabama and im worried about them being targetted by those southern Christians. They are young right now like just teenagers and impressionable. Anytime i tell my aunt that what she does is againt sikhi they all laugh at me and say I'm too serious. how can you expect anything from such people?

    Bhai jagraj singh was western too and i think he had much more impact within the past few years than any of the sgpc people. We have bad apples too but then we have enough good apples who can help our community in numerous ways. SGPC and people back home are just sleeping. One problem with us is we do not know how to relate to non sikhs and i dont know why this is.

    I was just thinking the other day how democracy in uneducated countries always backfires on minorities because the uneducated majority will always decide who will rule everyone. I mean if you have 1 intelligent person and 99 fools those 99 fools will decide the fate of everyone. How is this good in any way?

    Honestly how do these people get elected to sgpc? If western born sikhs become members of sgpc it would be so much better. So many of us here know the issues we face and can take decisions to combat them. We need intelligent people elected to the sgpc not uneducated fools. But i feel like the people who are elected to the sgpc are all under indian govt and that is why they dont do anything for sikhs. We are indirectly under their control.

    Literally. Man is used to feel proud of our people's strength now i realize whats the use of having strength without the brains. Why are our people so obsessed to prove about how strong and warrior like they are. Indians are making a fool out of us . They sweet talk these fools into thinking how strong they are so you can die for them on the border while they sleep in their bed. Fools man of the highest order.

    They are too useless. Just look at the scandals of the catholic church but they still try to get converts. We all know why but our lot are too stupid. Our people have no vision. They know more people = more power they hold but our lot are too busy in throwing away our money to others.

    but i dont understand this. White christians are racist too and so are arab muslims but blacks and south asians still become christians even after history of enslavement why? Its all because of money. They pay people money and benefits to change their religion. And most people are more worried about filling their stomach than caring about spirituality which is why our guru started langar because he knew how can humans focus on spirituality when their stomachs are empty. These people do not care about spirituality or the truth . They only care about benefits dont we all do which is why we came to the west? Very very very few people in this world are spiritually strong who will not stop believing in the truth for any amount of worldly desires. Now your avg pendu is not gonna be spiritually enlightened are they?

    White christians treat black Christians like dirt including burning their churches and enslaving them but blacks still become Christians even in africa. Why dont they all leave Christianity and convert to another religion then?Same way arabs are so racist to south asian muslims and black muslims. Its just excuses. How can discrimination by some mere mortal human make you stop believing in your god.These people dont know anything about sikhi and thats why they will go wherever they get benefits.

    I wonder what ravi singh will say about this since he thinks muslims are saints. He forgets that in 1984 alot of these mulims were helping hindus in killing sikhs. All these people are bad hindus muslims christians idc. Only think about your own. They all have hatred for us because we follow akaal purakh's true words. We are in very deep trouble because of this dil saaf nonsense.

    have you seen the behaviour of the so called sikhs that come from punjab? No offence but i think sikhs in the west know more about sikhi than these people . I dont see an iota of sikhi in the behaviour of those coming from punjab. i dont wanna judge but ive been observing their behaviour and the way they act is so not sikh like. So weird that people say sikhs in punjab have more knowledge.

    All this is our own fault.We are too nice to people thinking that being nice is the right thing to do but we dont undertstand that being nice has resulted in us being taken advantage of. Thats why when i see our people wasting sikh resources on others i want to slap them. They dont understand when sikhs will face poverty none of these people are going to come help us. We are literally at our own and hated from all sides. Fools are wasting away our resources. But no dil saafs will say did guru ji say only help sikhs. Oh man you think those oil rich 2 billion people need your help seriously? I think all these ravi singh types do this stuff because it gains them more popularity helping people who have higher population than it does when they are helping sikhs because we are low in numbers. Man these people are so stupid.

Sikhs first should only be our goal. I hate those sikh women who marry hindu men in punjab. Like wth! Imagine wanting to end sikhi in your bloodline, the same sikhi that gave you so many rights. I just cant. Its all the fault of grandparents generation for not teaching sikhi to their kids. I mean like literally 90% of them dont know anything about sikhi. If we had our own country we would be so much better. Right now we are in deep trouble and some apne are just living in fantasy land smh.

    Punjabi hindus are so dumb . I used to live in punjab and they would believe in every self styled godman in town as if they were gods lol what a joke. Right now they have this guy called guru ji or something and this guy mixes hindu scriptures and sikh scriptures and just gives lessons on them and these people believe he is some god incarnation. Such weird beliefs.And then our dumb lot will follow and do the same of worshipping these self styled godmen. I have seen some comments from apne on the posts like jai guruji and other nonsense. Why cant our people have any level of sense? Why they always follow the wrong behavior of others? And you are right they wont let us succeed in punjab they are evil af but still punjab is ours I can never imagine punjab in their hands. They dont speak our language follow our culture how can they have our land? Apne who think these people are our brothers are so naive i just cannot. Why are our people so gullible smh. The real punjab is in the villages where sikhs reside not these urban cities . We need to build our villages and also we need to have sikh enclaves so we have sikh majority areas. We can outnumber them if we increase our population like muslims do but no our useless lot are too dumb for it.
