Vaheguru Jee Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Jee Kee Fateh..!! jagjit_waheguru jee... u just sort of proved all our points .. what u said states that we SHOULD have a separate thread on jattha's.. .just as like u said Akaal 108 was incorrect in his post... if in fact, if those are misconceptions, they are just like the misconceptions that both youth and adults alike have today about jattha's.. tha's why i's better to educate ourselves as well as our younger brother and sisters and even our elders about this stuff... no?? like get everything out there so we KNOW what these institutions teach and stress on our youth... and sometimes people mite post false statements w/out knowing that facts, i mean thats all good if i's not meant purposely to stir controversy... nobody's tryin to start any jattha' bashing... and since people DO have false facts, it is our job to clarify and present correct facts so there's no disrespect/nindya of any of this panthic jattha's..... and it's important that people know that these jattha's are all SIKH jattha's... it has nothing to do with caste... like i said in one of my above posts.. they're just like insititutions/classes that we need to take in high school to get our diploma, it is important that we know what each of them teach and it's important that we learn from each of them as well... well tha's just my opinion... Vaheguru Jee Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Jee Kee Fateh..!! actually in my humble opinion these dayz in the west i.e. canada, U.S. things are actually getting better... like in toronto i's not as bad as it used to be.. i's come a long way and things are on the right path.. we have youth from different jattha's attending programs and associating with youth from other jattha's and stuff.. and tha's a HUGE step... nowadayz, it seems that there's not much 'beef' between the youth, but i's jes plain ignorance between the adults... our elders tell us that 'this jattha does that, they're wrong... that jattha does that... don't go there.. stick to 'our' sangat... ' etc... not only is that ignorant, tha's nindya... we ALL need to RESPECT every jattha... even if we don't agree with a couple of things that they believe or do... but tha's the beauty of having jattha's, u see different perspectives and learn different thingss... but like a few of us stated above they're all just schools/institutions for us to learn... our main goal is to reach Guru Jee... so in the end we're all SIKH... <_< ... like I said i's getting a lot better.. and as time goes on i hope it will only benefit sikhi... i see a bright road ahead... maybe one day we'll all recognize eachother as being apart of the Panth and as being GURSIKHS.... no as being 'akj' or 'taksali' or 'tapoban' etc... and the old sayin is very tru.. Vaheguru Jee Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Jee Kee Fateh..!! singh tha's totally not fair to Daasn Daas veerji.. u can't say that.. like they said above that it would be LOCKED... and we specifically said NO JATTHA BASHING... i think it would be good for youth growing up now unlike many of the youth in our age group who have grown up hearing different things from different people about different jatthas... many of them being FALSE and only splitting the panth even more... i would rather the youth find out first hand what each of these jattha's teach and why they are there.... we must REALIZE that each jattha is like a CLASS... we all go to school and take different classes to get our diploma or degree or what not... each jattha stresses/teaches/focuses on different things... their different classes.. and we can't jes take ONE class to graduate.. for example... Damdami Taksal stresses gurbaani n santhiya, akj and sadh sangat stress kirtan and simran... etcc ... and so on.. we have to take all of them and learn from all of them.. remember.. we are STUDENTS as well.. but one thing that's KEY... and its not really stressed nowadayz as much as one would hope is that we have to realise we're SIKH before anything else... we can't say I'M AKJ.. or I'M TAKSALI.. or I'M TAPOBAN or i'm SADH SANGATEE etc... we should all say I/WE ARE SIKH..!!! bhul chuk maaf...
