  1. ok lemme put this another way. would you forgive someone if they had raped, your sister, your mother? forgiving is something very few poses, if you ask me i will forgive them. Because i like to live in Waheguru's raja. Waheguru sees everything, you can hide things from everyone, even yourself but not from him. And remember he's the one who will punish you (not you, but the raper). It takes time but you do get rewarded for what you do, as elders say "Jo Beejoge So Khayoge"... I hope waheguru will give me thw power for forgiveness.. remember all gurus forgave... then who are we..
  2. And a suggestion to if possible read bhagt kabeer ji's slok, you will all learn something..
  3. Well, forgiveness is something very few posses, for that jap naam, ask waheguru you will get the answer. And I hope that you don't start going against Guru Ji now...
  4. Also, one of you told me to read Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, well i did read guru ji. I found peace in it. I found that If one has Anger, one can't have naam. Naam and anger can't go together, you can only have one. Kabeer Ji, wrote on panna 1372, It states very clearly, not just in this slok but at lot of other pannas and tuks that "Where there is forgiveness, there is God Himself." So, i believe again, we could have done better, we could have excused Indra... But we took matter in our hands, which i call is gundagardi.. But anyways looks like dispute settled, and we all learned something. May waheguru grant us naam.. Fateh!!

  6. My views are still the same, i want others to learn something and i hope all who mudslinged or are still lost will learn something. I stand with my word, which is final and will be. forever. Because i learned, "what a man, who changes his words." I hope many of you who posted above ^, learn't something. I don't care how bad Khushwant Singh is, i don't care if he drinks cows piss, i don't care if hes not religious, I care about his good qualities. I don't care about people, i care about there goodness that resides in them. Every man, whos bad has some good qualities, and we should pay attention to those ones not to the bad ones. Because:- Hope, you all learned something from this..
  7. There were other ways of resolving issues and still are, if we today feel we haven't recieved what we wanted then its our fault for that, why? Because we haven't done much. Hindu's are in power politically, economically, socially, and academically. These four things revolve around each other. If we want to fulfill our demand we must conquer these four ally's. As famous one said, if you conquer these 4 ally's you can do anything. We need to conquer those 4 allys first, i believe in Guru Gobind Singhs words that if all means fail its righteous to pickup the sword. But THINK did all means failed?? NO, BECAUSE WE DIDN'T EVEN TRIED ALL MEANS. Did we tried to conquer 4 ally's no.. well i care about panth and will do whatever i have to keep its back straight. I'm ready, not just ready but already told waheguru that i will live, will live for you and the khalsa. I don't know how many like you are out there but if you see or know anybody, its time we grow up and conquer these four ally's for our and the panth's good... cause sometime's kirpan isn't the only answer.. Its time we live the present, and create our future... Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!!
  8. hanji, keeping that in mind. amrit is not limited to that. science cant explain the spiritual aspect of it I know but ^(he) wanted to know science behind it not spriulaity, and yeah its also a part of Spritual Therapy, in Chinese & Japanese tradition a person of high spritual status or in good health can pour water in Iron utensil and give it to sick one, tranferring heealing power to help sick one recover... Heres some more medical explanation, its not much realted but has to do with Iron and Water in our diet, thought might go along with it:- The total amount of iron in the human body is approximately 4 g, of which 70% is present in red blood colouring agents. Iron is a dietary requirement for humans, just as it is for many other organisms. Men require approximately 7 mg iron on a daily basis, whereas women require 11 mg. The difference is determined by menstrual cycles. When people feed normally these amounts can be obtained rapidly. The body absorbs approximately 25% of all iron present in food. When someone is iron deficit feed iron intake may be increased by means of vitamin C tablets, because this vitamin reduces tertiary iron to binary iron. Phosphates and phytates decrease the amount of binary iron. In food iron is present as binary iron bound to haemoglobin and myoglobin, or as tertiary iron. The body may particularly absorb the binary form of iron. Iron is a central component of haemoglobin. It binds oxygen and transports it from lungs to other body parts. It than transports CO2 back to the lungs, where it can be breathed out. Oxygen storage also requires iron. Iron is a part of several essential enzymes, and is involved in DNA synthesis. Normal brain functions are iron dependent. In the body iron is strongly bound to transferrin, which enables exchange of the metal between cells. The compound is a strong antibiotic, and it prevents bacteria from growing on the vital element. When one is infected by bacteria, the body produces high amounts of transferrin. When iron exceeds the required amount, it is stored in the liver. The bone marrow contains high amounts of iron, because it produces haemoglobin. Iron deficits lead to anaemia, causing tiredness, headaches and loss of concentration. The immune system is also affected. In young children this negatively affects mental development, leads to irritability, and causes concentration disorder. Young children, pregnant women and women in their period are often treated with iron (II) salts upon iron deficits.
  9. I'm not sure but in Alternative Medicine class i took a year ago, Prof. told us that drinking water from a "Sarab Loh" Iron utensil, after you keep water in for a while, gives your body strength and freshens it. It also according to chinese, provides iron to body and filters blood, meaning purify's it. Our guru's had a lot of knowledge thats why they used iron utensils, and so do some people today.. theres a chinese logic of purifying blood behind it.
  10. I just wanted to know how much progress we made so far.. and i concluded NONE at all. We just jump to conclusions without thinking.. :TH: We need to learn, especially everyone who posted in this thread, including me also. I just wanted to see what we learnt after thousands of threads and posts (204,000 - Two hundred and our thousands est.) we made on SikhSangat and i would and feel sorry saying WE LEARNED NOTHING.. Here's how.. not many, actually none of you paid attention to what i wrote:- And that sentence makes a whole lot of difference. We need to think out of the box, we need to improve ourself, our panth, our sikhs, before mudslinging on others. Before we think of traitors in our panth we must think of ourself. And talking sant ji being a "Mouse", wheres what K.Singh wrote:- which if you're a little educated and able to think outside the box, means to distroy someone less powerful. In this sentence K.Singh meant that Indra, being PM of India, a lady in power, more power then Sant Ji, she distroyed the whole Harmandir Sahib Complex to bring Sant Ji to "shaheedi". Its a world famous very old "Idiom" from Alexander's time... I would close this thread by advising every member of SikhSangat to grow-up, think before you 'pop', otherwise just keep you mouth shut, and yes think outside of the box, especially.. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa,Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!!
  11. I don't if its true, but if one can give me more info i would love to go and meet GURDEEP SINGH this week as i have off from studies for thanksgiving and i live only 30 mins away from manhattan.. and if he's in california i would still like to meet him.. get me more info.. but so far i think its a joke, the part of sant ji talking to ghost might be true but recording etc being in us etc NO NO..
  12. He did wrote about them, read his novels.. Fate or Faith? ------------------------------------------------------ All i want to let you know is:- "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind." and rest my signature quote somewhat is related also.. what a coincidence...
  13. But he still writes truth, remember, i believe that sikhs live in past and they do. The times for when a head was was given for head, the time changed its not the head for head time. Its time to do things "humanly" as we're supposed to in this times. And kiling people, head for head is called GUNDAGARDI in these times. Its not that i'm saying sant ji were gunde, i'm saying what sikhs did after sant ji went to sach khand was wrong.. and i call that was gundagardi.. Khushwant Singh wrote that Sikhs could've made Indra appologize, step down from PM position and a lot others but killing her, WAS NO BRAVERY. She was shot, an alone women was shot. If she decieved us then didn't we decive her also... Veero Think!!, I'm not here tyying to point that Sant Ji were gunde, But am freely saying what people did after Sant Ji was gundagardi...
  14. Hi, I am a fan of Khuswant Singh, but am not writing this topic to prevtn crticism he getting. I'm writing this so i can think, you can think and we all can think. HIs recent novel, Delhi was crticized by some organization called Shahbaaz Khalsa. I just red it at Panthic heres what they wrote:- And these are excerpts:- I personally red almost all books and novels by him and found nothing wrong, he says whats true, without polishing it. He writes open minded and leaves his readers to conclude. Do you think this is wrong what he wrote, a typical human who believes in "Equality for Everyone" would happen to say YES, What do you say?
  15. The link doesnot works for me(I know post is very old but if) It is possible that one of you can upload(interviewwithrab.exe) it on sikhsangat or somewhere else and post a link again. Thanks!!

  19. We as sikhs never accepted 10 gurus as 'Gurus', "what we think typically guru means = god etc" and will never. We accepted them as Gurus = Teachers, in this case holy teachers leading one to god, showing you the path of righteous. But, remember we respect them because they come first then god does, they lead us to god, they showed us the right path. It doesn't mean they said don't believe in anyone else after them, they meant don't believe in one who is/will take your advantage for him/herslef or is leading or will to a wrong path. I don't remember the exact slok of bhai kabeer ji but i do remember what it meant, bhai sahib wrote, "If my guru((h)teacher) and god are standing together in front of me at same distance, i will bow first to my beloved teacher rather to my god because its because of him/her i got to see or meet god."

  23. Yes Bhen JI, you are saying is true...my experience.. i been doing chandi di vaar on regular basis in evening, because i loved and still do to read and imagine the whole battle ground. I asked a few katha vachaks and gianees, even bhai maskeen ji and they told me that it was and is to read before battle and motive is to give you war politics, power, and feel supported by guru. Makseen ji told me that when we read chandi di vaar, we are supposed to imagine we are standing in battle field looking on both sides and pay attention to evrey waar de make at each other and rember that for yourself as was politics. So, reading it beofre battle was like practicing or more like rehearsing battle beofe you do it.
  24. Khalsa Ji, I need the whole shabad Raj Karega Khalsa one the complete, If anyone has it please post it here and audio version, especially AKJ style will be appreciated. Thanks!!
