This is a slap in the face of some so called Sikhs I have met who harbour some kind notion of feeling a solidarity with pakistan and muslims. Muslims will never be the friend of Sikhs. I actually met A Sikh girl that was a front line campaigner for palestines rights. Forget about palestine. Think and care about your own people. Dont try and help the muslims who are only out for themselves. Other faiths can be helped though aslong as its not the muslims who want to convert all to their satan faith.

Yep I also noticed that alot of people mistakenly think that Sikhism is in someway influenced by Hinduism and Islam when in reality it is a unique religion. Had this ignorant old guy say he thought Sikhism comes from Hinduism and Islam by combing the two.

I actually had this question thrown at me by a white english guy. I am not going to criticise him for his question or presumptions even though they are quite ignorant. But it got me thinking how other faiths particulalry white british or Europeans perceive us. He remarked we have beards and head coverings and looked exactly like muslims. If we were not muslim we were something similar to them. In essence if we look like a muslim and act like a muslim we are muslims and shared similar beliefs to them. Now this was comming from a white Christian guy. But when I explained to him he was shocked by my answer. I actually said that you as a Christian are more religiously similar to Muslims then Sikhs are to Muslims. Muslims Christians and Jews are all Abrahamic faiths. Hence are very close in their belief system to each other. Ie concepts such as heaven ect. Even Muslims believ in jesus and Moses as prophets. He was astonished by this. I told him further that Buddhism Sikhism and Hinduism are completley different to Islam as these are Dharmic faiths that originated in Indian sub continent and not in the middle east. He now realises that instead of labling us Sikhs as Muslims or something similar to them. He is actually more of a Muslim himself as a Christian. This is the best answer to give to silly people who try and label us as similar to muslims in some way. When we are a Dharmic faith and Islam is a Abrahamic faith.

Seems like the norwegian went for the throat and easy target. He said he did not try to kill, then why go for the throat. The question really should not really be about the oil and fish/ It is about where did that chips and fish come from. Was the shop owner and honest person. Who is not going to take your money and donate to some terrorist charity. Was the food produced through moral and ethical way. So now the oil and fish issue is minuscule to the real issues. Yes you may eat some veg and think your all holy . But where did that veg come from. Was it through the sweat and blood from some third world country. Yet you are more concerned if the oil is fishy?
