  1. If socks on and socks off aren't acceptable then scientifically, what would be a good solution?
  2. Administrator your upgrades aren't handling apostrophes very well.
  3. Alas, this gift God bestowed on Women alone. ...Why call women inferior?, when even the most mightiest king owes his life to a woman... That's fine. Its up to you if you want your own desires to go ahead of what Sikhism teaches. Not necessarily for all cases. Vaheguru existed in Hitler when he was alive, and yet Hitler was a pychopath. Vaheguru existed in MSK when he was alive, and yet MSK was a moronic terrorist.
  4. Probably the best recipe you'll ever set your eyes on. I call it 'Bhai Sahib's Muesli'. Ingredients: Alpen Muesli (Original) Whitworths Dried Banana Chips Sainsbury's Dried Blueberries Dried Goji Berries Freeze-Dried Strawberries Simple Recipe: Take out all raisins and replace with the dried Banana, Blueberries, Strawberries and Goji berries. Pour the muesli into a bowl and add Soya milk. Serve.
  5. I think cold showers is just a stingie way to save money on the bills. Which reminds me, I think I might install a roof-top solar water heater. PS: Totally unrelated but from today I'm on Pay As You Drive Car Insurance. I should save myself £200 a year!
  6. Socks? What if they have a verruca??
  7. I believe Guru Nanak proscribed that Sikh's should live the life of a householder, and therefore not to be celibate for the rest of their lives due to a failed marriage. The Guru has given us the easiest way to live life and to merge with the All-Soul. Yet some people want to make the journey harder for themselves. What can I say? The world is full of weirdo's. An additional footnote: I've heard that women who don't have children die earlier due to poor health.???? Any female who would want to throw away the opportunity to experience the miracle of motherhood due to fear of remarriage, has 'a screw loose'. ..and there's nothing wrong in having 'a screw loose' as long as your receiving treatment for it. :'
  8. Is that quote from the Guru Granth Sahib??
  9. Its the pikey/chavy elements of that (or any) community that I hate. For me a soolah is a pikey/chavy muslim like the fools MSK & Tanweer. By the way, where would that ex-Sikh wife of terrorist go in this picture?
  10. no doubt a bani rasia could, but guru sahib has also taught us to live in bhana of akaal purkh. stay with in human limits. just a lil something to keep in mind. I agree.
  11. You're not one of his sikhs talking like that. Put this over your head next time you write something like that! Hey the Israeli's have the right idea, they don't put up with $hit from any soolah. I hope they do nuke Iran, I'll make sure I put in a lot of money into oil and gold funds when they do and make a tidy profit.
  12. Learn Gatka and prepare yourself for the oncoming war! 1930s - Democracy v Fascism 1945 - Democracy wins 1945 - Democracy v Communism 1990s - Democracy wins 1990s - Democracy v Islamism ? - ? wins
  13. Those's chinks have a lot to answer for. Killing off the Tigers, Rhinos, Elephants, Whales. A friend of mine went back-packing in China and he was outside Shanghai when he saw a street vendor cooking this whitish soup. In the soup he saw small edigble rings. When he ask the man what is was he was told that it was anal spinckters of many animals !! My friend kindly decline in trying the soup.
  14. I just can't stand sooleh !! It's like all the most pikiest, chaviest Paki/Arab/Turk/Kurd/Albanian/Somalian is over here in England. I don't know who I hate more, this labour government or the sooleh !! Can't we just round up all these chavs (regardless of gender, race or ethnicity) and nuke 'em. Ok there may be some environmental damage, but its a small price to pay.
  15. Is it wrong of me to think that the majority of our kuriya are just thick and stupid? http://www.sikhsangat.com/index.php?showto...mp;#entry251402
  16. Bhai Sahib Ji, If I got married and my husband commited abuse/adutery I personally wouldn't want to get married again after that even if I didn't have any children. I would have to accept God's will that my first marriage never worked out and that maybe marriage is not supposed be for me. But I wouldn't want to get married again because it might not work out again and I wouldn't want to have more than one spouse. Its just my own personal view. I don't believe you. But each to their own. Hey its up to you if you want fear of failure to dominate you.
  17. I will educate you. It has not finished being built.
  18. I was never consulted on the design for this Gurdwara, never offered any decisive input, yet their happy to take my money to fund some wannabe architects’ fantasy.
  19. I think I might be adding an entry onto Wikipedia in the future for the Gravesend Gurdwara when (or if) it’s built. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_elephan...White_Elephants The Gravesend Gurdwara, a Sikh place of worship built by undisclosed individuals who are now retired and living in big mansions in the Punjab. The building cost £18 million in total and took 12 years to build, by which time the congregation had dwindle due to lack of interest by the new generation of Sikhs. Due to the long awaited UK property crash in 2013, the Gravesend Gurdwara Committee had to declare bankruptcy on its loans due to the UK interest rates rising to 15%. The Gurdwara is now owned by a London-based property firm which is converting the building into residential flats and offices.
  20. Gravesend’s Great White ‘Grey’ Elephant On Vasakhi I had a look at what’s been built of the new Gravesend Gurdwara and I thought to myself, “What a waste of money!”. The project is over-budget and behind schedule. From what I’ve heard the Gravesend community have raised half the money need for the project £4 million, while the committee have taken out a loan of the other half. But the costs have now risen a further £2 million. In these days of rising interest rates that loan is going to sting, plus the committee have brought over some bheya from Bihar to do the marble, which I think is costing £2 million. That’s one hell of an expensive wall paper!!. The marble is not even white, it’s grey. It looks like concrete. What a waste of money! But the Gurdwara is huge. How the hell they are going to pay for the ongoing maintenance cost is anyone’s guess. The heating, lighting, cleaning, security, and repair?? How are they going to maintain all those Dysons that the bibia will be breaking every year?? If I see those committee members walking up my driveway to ask me to donate yet more money, I'll tell my wife to hand me my shotgun. When I see that Gurdwara, I think of two words, Bankruptcy and Behzti. http://www.sikhsangat.org/ssn/publish/Engl..._Schedule.shtml http://www.newsshopper.co.uk/news/dartgrav...g_the_rules.php http://www.bbc.co.uk/kent/faith/sikh_temple.shtml
