The Bollywood incident was dealt with. We got Sohi to apologise in front of the Sangat, two weeks ago. Just to warn everyone, elections are only several days away, i ask every one to think carefully about what people are saying. After we showed the commite the footage of the bollywood crew, and told them about its circulation on the internet, i would not be suprised if they have created accounts on this forum just to spread crap and find out what the sangat if planing. The commite found out about the protest against the bollywood incident 3 days before the protest and informed the police. When we turned up on sunday we were greeted by over 40 Police officers who had created a small protesting area across the road. Think carefully before you most detaisl about any protests for October the 1st!!

I have just obtained teh financial accounts and some firgures are very shocking: IN the 8 months to August 2006 the commite spent £ 119, 871 on reapirs and maintenance. Thats an lot of money to be spedning on Gurudwara that were only built in the last 2-3 years and cost tens of millions of pounds. They paid £315,628 in interest alone on an overdraft. It doesnt take a genius to figure out that overdrafts are the most expenseive ways of borrowing money. Since 2005 teh Gurudwaras printing , postage, Stationary and computer charges have increased by over 100%. And yet what can possibly justify such an incraese. No new classes of any sort have opened. Has all the Sikh sangat of southall died??? or are they blind? Don't they want to stop corruption in the Gurdwara?? Is there nobody who can intervene, surely they can, or are they <banned word filter activated> scared of some confrontation?? Those of us who care, are doing everything we can. But at the end of teh day it all rests in teh hands of the voters. We cant force anyone to vote against their will, that would make us just as bad as Sohi!!

Elections are on the 1st of October. Even if we had anthoer party to run against Sohi he would most likely ban there supports from becoming members of the Gurudwara. AS well as publiching false propaganda. Besides the current commite is corrupt right down to the core, they control who is allowed to vote, how is that democratic!!

Today was teh annual general meeting, at the Gurudwara, as usual the Police were at the gurudwara in heavy numbers. Mr Sohi offered 2 minutes per speaker, it doesnt take a genius to figure out this is not enough, after the members got annyoed, Mr Sohi and his party, packed up teh speakers and went on there ways.The Opposition did not even get a chance to voice there opinions, nor were the Gurudwara members allowed to say anything. You say Mali is just as bad. How can you possibly compare the two. The evidence speaks for it self, so what if Malhi owns Monsoon, Sohi owns several pubs!! It was Sohi who allowed the Beadbi to happen, NOT MALI! It was Sohi who stopped Punjabi/Sikhi Classes NOT MALI! It was Sohi who ordered dozens of Singhs to be removed from the gurudwara on several occasions just because of there appearnce, by that i mean they wore slightly large Kara, and Kirpana!! Is this the sort of person we really need? The Gurudwara is a place of worship not a place of business as Mr Sohi would make seem!! Sohi is destroying the Sikh reputation! He has spread such stupid propaganda against the opposition! Hes baned several opposition members from running against him! The Gurudwara belongs to the Sabha, not the commite!! Its time we reminded them who really is in charge Next week is the elections (1st October) i hope many of you will be able to come to Park avenue, and protest against Sohi's dictatorship. If Sohi wins he will certainly change his name to something more appropriate such as, Hitler Singh Sohi.

You are right, although Malhi cant stand for election personally due to a court order, he is teh one leading the party. On their manifesto MALHI's picture is in teh centre.

Hmm someone should ask Mr Sohi how most of his agenda actually benifits the majority of the Sikh Sanagat, and Sikhi in general. By the look of his manifesto he plans on running the gurudwara more like a business. At least Mr Malhi is pledging to help the majority of the sangat in several ways. Hes even promised not to stay in power for moer than 4 years, i can see why Sohi hates the thought of this since hes been in power for over 12 years. Just out of curiosity how long does someone need to be in power before they become a (Power and money hungry) dictator??

Sri Guru Singh Saba southall commite president Himmit Singh Sohi today apologised to the sangat for allowing beadbi to happen at the Gurudwara. By now you all will have heard of the bollywood crew who were caught smoking, drinking and serving meat on the Gurudwara premises. After a peaceful protest, the commite finally agreed after some argument to apologise. Links to the video containing the apologise will shortly follow.

Arrange a meeting? LOL We have tried that agin and again. Whenever a Jatha of Singhs goes to the commite they just end up calling the police and having them kicked out. Sohi even went to court and got Malhi the opposion leader banned from running for leadership. He was banned on untrue evidence and by the time he appeals the elections will have alreday happened. Mali has appointed people on his behalf.

Its time we stop talking, and start acting!! Elections will be held for the Gurudwara on October the 1st at Sri Guru Singh Sabha Southall, (Parkavenue). Lets hold a protest against Sohi and his party on that day, while voters are going to vote. Let the Sangat be told what us youth think, and what we want.

I completly agree with you, we must get rid of Sohi. Its to late to become a member, so so unless you are a member you cant vote. Encourage those who you know to have a membership to vote against Sohi!

I know about the shepards bush Gurudwara, ive been there many times. I actually went into this Gurudwara in Hanwell. There were loads of people there, i just didnt think of asking anyone about the gurudwara. Wasnt there some contrevorsy about Sheperds Bush gurdwara a while ago, the commite were considering selling the site?

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Je Ke Feteh, The stranget thing happend to me today, i was going to get some lucnh from the shops, when i remembered that i hadn't been going to the Gurudwara as i had been beofre sixth form started. And as soon as i realised this i saw a sign on some traffic lights reading "CENTRAL GURDWARA". I was so shocked and sort of freaked out. I have been walking up and done that road for weeks and had never seen that sign before. I didnt even know there was a Gurudwara in West Ealing. It turns out it has just opened, and i am guessing much of the Sangat does not know about it. I dont know what road it is on. I am hoping that someone on here knows somethign about it.
