  1. Ask yourself some questions, why don't you want to stay in touch with them? Are they bad people, are they mean? Why? If you don't FEEL like staying in touch with them, nobody is going to force you, however you should keep in mind, sometimes we have to do things beyond our liking. If they are not bad people, why not stay in touch with them, who knows when you might need their assistance in life. Life can take unexpected changes, and these people can come in handy. If you don't feel the need to talk to them, maybe you weren't as close to them in University then. What I would suggest is, it is not a bad idea to talk to them, and keep in touch with them. Just a normal, hi how you doing is not going to hurt. If you don't want to get together with them, than find a legitimate excuse, tell them life is really busy right now, maybe sometime later. I will keep in touch with you. They will get the message, and not disturb you as much. Hope everything works out. :TH:

^ Exactly. Guru Gobind Singh does not want anyone to come in front of him if they do not have KESH. Also, when its' time for your judgment, and Kalgidhar Patshah asks you why you did not keep hair, what are you going to say? Oh, my head hurt too much, I can't get a job, and all that BS. Do you think that will go with Guru Gobind Singh?! HELLLLLLL NO! But to be on a positive side, I have seen that most youth that are not into Sikhi want to grow their hair, and be keshadari but the only place they get discouragement from is their families. I can't believe there are families out there that don't encourage Sikhi Saroop. There was a time where mothers would rather have their sons/daughters bodies cut limb by limb rather than cutting their kesh, and here we are were no one even cares about Sikhi but money. You ain't going to take money with you when you leave Dharti Maa, you will take your Karma, and Sikhi though.

It shouldn't matter what people think about you or monas in general. If these so called "Gursikhs" talk **** about you or monas in general, then just simply ignore them or get them a reality check if you know what I mean. :D What is that supposed to mean?!

I dont think all members of SS are keshdhari... plus ive met many monas who are way more religious than some of the so called kesh dhari Sikhs ive met, infact its the mona type Sikhs who have mostly helped me and inspired me to become a better Sikh...just because you been brought up to keep your hair doesnt make you any more religious/better than mr.x who hasnt! In fact ive mostly felt intimadated and looked down upon by keshdharis until 'recently' when i started to feel more comfortable and became more 'spiritually'/religiously aware. :TH: Just because a few Patits inspired you, it doesn't mean that is always the case. Its' ususally the Patits that leave the Singhs to be outcasted. Calling Singhs "Gianis" and all that BS. You don't see Singhs going around calling Patits "Rode" or something. The fact of the matter is, they are Patits and intill they don't follow Guru Gobind Singh's way they cannot be Sikh. I don't know why they feel so bad, when we tell them to keep their hair, they know what they doing are wrong. Oh yeah, they can jaap naam, and do seva but when it comes to keeping the identity they don't want to have to do anything with Sikhi, why the double standards? Either do it or don't. Don't be a Sikh Wannabe.
  5. haha...im still waiting for the day a singhnee becomes a member of a fitness gym come on singhnees !!! hit the gym!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL. I can't stop laughing at that man. Its' funny, but its' sad at the same time.

Do you shake your head? At times yes, because most of the time they give stupid excuses for not being a SINGH. Do you give them less respect? No, because that can further them from Sikhi. I want Patits to turn into Singh Soorme. Do you want to talk to them? If they show respect, I give respect. Simple as that. No one here as the right to judge anyone, but I can tell you this much a Patit is a Patit, he can be a good human being, but not a SIKH. Intill he/she keeps doing BIPRAN KI REET, they will stay a Patit, the time when they become SONS of Guru Gobind Singh, that's when Guru Sahib will take care of them.
  8. Chill brother. She might be new man, its' all good. Don't further her from the sangat man.
  9. First of all you are not horrible for liking people, its' normal you a GIRL, naturally you are going to like a guy. Another thing, you damn right we Singhs in Canada look good. :D  (I just had the urge to say that LOL. :D ) Anyways, what you need to do sister is keep yourself occupied by the things you need to do. For example, your studies, the gym, part time work, etc. Also, when it comes to Sikhi sometimes its' hard to concentrate, but if you keep at it, sooner or later it will phase out. You are probably a teenager so you have the age of being "infauted" (sp?) with people. It happens. At least, you did not do anything wrong, so big up to you for that. If you like him so much, why don't you just tell him you do, I know the sangat on here will kill me for that. But I am actually being honest, sometimes what we see is what we get. If you really think this is not infautation, but you REALLY like the person than speak up. What is the most he going to say, I am not into that kind of stuff. After that, you can at least go back to concentration on your sikhi, and everyday lives rather than thinking about and picking roses and saying "he loves, he loves me not" and all that BS. Hopefully we can get FEMALES perspectives on here.
  10. ^ Well, how are we supposed to know, first your like Pheen Ji, than inside your like Bhai Sahib. :D @ Either its' a girl or a boy, I would be amazed if he was both. :D
  11. HAPPY B-DAY _____________________! Akal Purakh Chardi Kalaa Bakshe. Party Sharty, ko na rokeo aajjjjjjjjj!
  12. Damn man, that's so frikin awesome. The lion literally towers the women man. :D That's how a Singh is supposed to be man, soft from the inside, and rock hard from the outside. Picture that LION running with his mane, it would look like a SINGH running with his dharra moving, OH YEAHHHHHHHHHHH! I wish I had a lion as a pet man. He would be my buddy, wherever I go he gooo my buddy my buddy. :D
  13. ^ When did I say you did say that? :D @
  14. Good Post. :TH: Akal Purakh Chardi Kalaa Bakshe.
  15. hahaha SOO TRUEEEEEEEE MAN...that's why they say: SINGH DI BOLI, BANDOOK DI GOLI & BE THE BEST A KAUR PRINCESS!!!!!!! :D :D
  16. Exactly. Just like Jassa said, why not combine the two together. A lot of people such as "Heart" have even suggested that. Papi, I am 100% certain you said once to someone in the GUPT section, that it does not matter if you do path standing, walking, playing, swimming as long as you are doing it, why not combine it with working out at the gym. You have both things going on at the same time. Sant and Sipahi. If you have CD PLAYERS, or IPODS or something than it is awesome, you can listen to Dharmik Geets, or Kirtan while working out. But, I don't like those technologies (just my preference) so I just do "Waheguru" with each repitition, or sing a shabad in my mind. It makes a lot of difference man, it really does. :D Also, Jassa you have a awesome meal plan man, I would follow it but I don't like Protein Shakes and all that, and I don't eat meat so Its' all gooooooooood. :D My brother works out too man, YEAHHHHHHHHHH
  17. Tell them that Mohammed is the slave of Akal Purakh. :TH:
  18. If its' going to be made, than its' going to be made. Its' Akal Purakh hukam. Untill then, let's make ourself better, and focus on things that are really really important to us, and will make us better than the average john doe.
  19. Lions always are watched at carefully in the jungles, because other animals know they might be the lions dinner tonight. Its' the same thing with Singhs. When you walk down the street the attention is on you because you are out of the ordniary you ARE different from the average john doe, because you have personality, and your body is 100% natural without any changes. If the "Sikhs" are staring at you because, they want to be like you or they are amazed at how much Kirpa Guru Gobind Singh has done on you, and not them. Remember people always criticize things that are better than them, and find excuses to serve their "ego's" You cannot let them win, if you give up the hair man. If you give it up, than they win and you lose, because they made you like them, and you don't want to be like them, you want to stand out. If it gets too much, you need to go up to them, and ask them what's up, or why they have a problem? Also, like I always say to everyone, to keep your mind focused on proper things, do the right things such as keep yourself occupied through working part-time, studying, working out (being tyar par tyar), and keep update with your family members. Let us know your condition homie. :TH:
  20. First of all see you family doctor, and ask him what's up?! I am sure there are no doctors here. And for regular care, wash your hair frequently usually once a week. Drink lots of water, keep hydrated, and don't tie 5 different types of patkas and then wear a pag. You have to let your hair breath as well. Most people usually tie a fifty, and then their dastaar which should be good enough. :TH:
  21. Simply put tell the dude straight up he is not made for you. Its' better being honest on these situations, rather than spending your whole life with someone you don't want to. If he does not listen, than you have to be honest with HIS parents, if you know them or have seen them. Don't tell you parents AFTER you told them, they will be mad, so be expected for that, but its' YOUR life you will be living with him, not them. So you have to stand up for yourself. I hope you don't like him for valid reasons, and not because his nose is to big, or he doesn't have a nice smile or something.
  22. I want to see some Singh Soorme from Canada's Largest City, bai? Come on we are all waiting for the PICTURES. :D
  23. Okay, so I listened to the radio there, and I also tried googling this "Nakli Harnek" but I can't seem to find something worthwhile to know about this guy. Can someone elobrate on this guy? Who is he, and what has he done? I never heard of this guy before. I am sure people in Canada would appose him, if he is some RSS type. We'd make his life hell here. He would never want to come back. :TH:
