  1. I think we should do something to avoid these situations. Please come with the ideas to tackle this issue. We need to do something concrete to settle this issue NOW.
  2. I think these things should not suggested on religious basis as it is a narrow-minded thinking. We should not make religion so tough to follow and also on baseless (and meaningless) things.
  3. But after listening to his speeches it doesn't look like that he can escape from the scene.I know that Manochahal ji and some other guys were ordered by Sant ji to escape for the movement but I think sant ji fought till end. I got this impression after reading few stuff at internet. Bhul Chuk Maff.
  4. Vir ji forgive me if I say anything wrong or offensive. In BBC documentry on Sikhs, they showed the dead body of Sant ji .Also why did they celebrat the barsi of Sant ji like couple years back? If sant ji is alive then why is he hiding?
  5. These types of incidents are happening over and over again.I think we should get togther and handle these issues seriously. We should do something to settle this issue now so that not even a single Sikh suffers again. --Balwinder Singh
  6. I have few issues regarding these bans: 1." They have banned the serving of non-vegetarian meals " I understand from the hukamnama of Akal Takhat that Sikhs are "allowed" to eat meat if it is jhatka meat.So banning meat is not according to Sikhi.I know its a controversial issue, but Akal Takhat hukam means something. 2."dance by women on roads during baraat" If men are allowed than why not women. If men can express their 'Khushi' then why can't women? I know people look at women differently when they dance, but this is not the solution to it.I think everybdy should have the right to express their 'Khushi'.Equality is one of the principle of sikhism. I think all this is more cultural issue than the religious. The only good thing is banning liquor which is according to the Sikh principles. I expect a healthy feedback from the sangat. 7. I searched on net but unable to find the whereabouts of Sant ji's dead body.Does anybdy knows what happened to his dead body? Some people think that he is still alive and I dont know how true is that. Pls lemme know if somebdy has an idea. Thanks. Regards, --Balwinder Singh
  8. I am right now in Los Alamos,New Mexico, US...but I am moving pretty soon to Salt Lake City, Utah,US. Espanola in New Mexico is a great place.I recommend every Sikh to visit this place.
  9. Well, as far as I understand it, we should NOT look at God as a seprate entity.God is within us and all around us.We are part of God (thats why we can't describe God,as a part cannot see its whole).Every thing around us is part of God.Thats why kabeer ji said: "Nirgun oh Sirgun vi ohee" That is He is without attributes but He can take a shape within us.This whole creation is God. This is just what I think.Bhul Chuk Maff. To kaur_khalistani_lioness: I like the Gurbani Tuks in ur signature.I remember one of umm by heart as I sung that in a gurbani singing competition and with Guru's grace I got prize by Bhai Balwinder Singh Rangeela ji.
  10. I was just curious what Sikh sangat thinks about eating meat.Is it ok to eat meat or not for a sikh?
