Dear All, SSA. I have a question. Can we do Paath during taking a bath?

Should Sikhs support this group. They seem to have many valid points. Ie they talk about islamic extreemism in uk. Forced conversions, grooming ect which many of the uk partys are to afraid to talk about. Maybe would could form an alliance with them at the same time keeping our distance. I actually feel ms fransen says alot of things that make sence. Its the only group that is taking on the extreemists in the uk as they feel that the msin partys are doing nothing.

Hello All, I have a very close friend that just ended a very long term relationship and I'm probably going to direct him over to this forum - but was wondering if anyone has any wise words from the SGGS to share that can help motivate him. Breakups suck and they really suck the life out of you and get you down. Any wise words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

The Anand Sahib is a collection of hymns in Sikhi, written in the Ramkali Raag by Guru Amar Das, the third Guru of the Sikhs. The word Anand means complete happiness. ਸਾਚਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਆਧਾਰੋ ॥੪॥ साचा नामु मेरा आधारो ॥४॥ Sācẖā nām merā āḏẖāro. ||4|| The True Name is my only support. Ang 917 ?? Dhan Dhan Guru Amardas ji

Heres the link I was wondering if the Sangat here can respond to his question, as this is a more active community, and probably can answer this much better than me. Heres is whole question: Please forgive me if i had said anything wrong or offensive Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

My father-in-law passed in a tragic accident involving an 18-wheeler. He was dropping passenger(s) off at Newark airport when he slid on black ice from a previous sleet/snow storm. After the car came to a stop, my father in law checked on the passengers to make sure everyone was okay. After that he proceeded to exit the vehicle to put proper flags, caution lights, etc. out to warn any oncoming traffic. Keep in mind he lost control on an exit ramp leading to the airport. Within minutes, an 18-wheeler came barreling up and around the ramp. Losing control because of speed and other unknown reasons, the truck spun out of control. After the sheriffs arrived to the scene and began to check on everyone involved in the accident, they realized the driver (my father in law) was missing. An officer then went to investigate the surroundings in search of my Parminder. A bit later, he was discovered under the truck. He was covered in snow. After removing the snow, it was obvious he passed of blunt force trauma to the head, neck and body. He was pronounced dead at the scene. My father in law loved to give. He would give you the turban off of his head, the shirt off of his back or the very last dollar in his pocket. He was very involved in the Sikh community here in NYC and loved to make a difference. He loved everyone he met and never stopped laughing. He helped anyone and everyone he possibly could. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh! Daas is 23 years old and was with in a relationship with a girl from high school since I was 17. A year ago she broke up with me. When I was with my girlfriend mistakes were made. I wasn't much into sikhi at the time and I ended up sleeping with my girlfriend. To be honest I love her very much and have been there for her emotionally or in any other way possible. Last year she broke up with me saying she just doesn't love me anymore (even though we were together for 5 years) and now she has another boyfriend. Problem is I'm still madly in love with her and am very heartbroken. Because we've slept together I morally feel wrong being away from her and feel I'm doing her injustice by not marrying her - but there's nothing I can do because she has someone else now and I'm still stuck all alone and depressed. To get over my heartbreak I took the support of bani, I try and do my nitnem daily, I listen to Salok mahala 9 daily and I read two astpadees of sukhmani sahib ji daily. Even though I listen to bani daily I feel I still am heartbroken and depressed. It's gotten to the point where the doctor has put me on depression pills. Can Sangat ji please consider me as a younger brother and guide me? Can Sangat ji please suggest any specific banis I can read to get out of this situation? I feel very lost depressed and lonely ATM. It's been like this for well over a year now and no matter what I do nothing makes me feel better. I'm sorry if I have offended anyone but really need some guidance in getting over this rough time and getting back into sikhi. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!
