One of the strangest and most ironic thing about the French is that they are one of the very first nations to declare their belief for equality, justice and liberty yet it seems that their government and most of their citizens are very naive about prejudice and racism. Remember a couple of months ago when rioting took place involving most especially black teenagers and immigrants. france is one of the most developed countries in the world yet their tolerance for social injustices like these prove that they have not really moved forward from the same thinking that brought about apartheid and the holocaust.
