we know of the Shaheeds that gave their life for their own faith, or others

but what would two gurmukhs do if they are faced with one option--one of them will be forced to give up their faith.

wud they let the other one maintain their Sikhi, or fight to have their own.

Or would it not be considered a kurehit in this case?

i dont think thats right, u shud never give up ur sikhi...i cant see a situation that wud involve that tho...if u were forcedto give up ur sikhi then a gursikh wud die to keep it rite? in that case u'd be shaheed, and wont even get a chance to take up another religion....

EXACTLY  if you gave up your faith and your religion especially sikhi....then your not a true gurmukh.....no matter what happened....if you look back into our sikh history the consequences for not giving up your faith were horrible....Guru Tegh Bahadaur ji was beheaded....Guru Arjan Dev Ji was told to sit on the hot plate with fire burning underneath it....and then had hot sand poured over HIS body.....the 2 younger sahibzadas of guru gobind singh ji were bricked alive in a wall....Bibi Anoop Kaur knew she'd have to convert to islam but she wasn't gonna give up her sikhi like that so she commit suicide....yet they all never gave up their faith and love for sikhi and guru sahib  so no matter what gonna happen.....a true gurmukh would never give up their sikhi....and if they have COMPLETE faith....then nothing can happen at all because guru sahib will be right beside them :D bhul chuk maaf

bro your question makes no sense, tell us if this is just what u wondered one day when you were bored or something in real life that made u think of this?

It is possible that a gursikh will become shaheed in order to help the panth maintain their gursikhi, etc. But that is not consdiered "giving up your sikhi"
