Hi , I would like to learn this shabad but i am afraid of these two lines i found in the shabad and i would like to know the message and meaning of whom it refers to thanks ਜੋ ਜੋ ਗਰਬੁ ਕਰੇ ਸੋ ਜਾਇ ॥ Jo Jo Garab Karae So Jaae || जो जो गरबु करे सो जाइ ॥ Whoever indulges in egotistical pride, shall waste away to ruin. ਜੇ ਕੋ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਕਰੇ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੁ ॥ Jae Ko Bahuth Karae Ahankaar || जे को बहुतु करे अहंकारु ॥ Whoever takes great pride in himself, In an instant, shall be like dust mixing with dust. ||3|| http://www.sikhitoth...p?ShabadID=3246 I want to learn the sha…

Sikhi's View On Non Sikhs
by Guest prabh_singh- 2 replies

WJKK WJKF I have been wondering lately that there are millions of people on this earth that don't follow Sikhism and many people don't know a thing about sikhism. My question is what does sikhi say about people who don't follow sikhism? I know we believe all religions are equal and we should respect each others religions. But in Sikhi, we try to be one with vahiguru and jap his name and gain mukti and "chutkara" from reincarnation, so what happens to the other millions of people on the earth, none of them get mukti? What does SGGS and the Guru's say about them and this? Bhul Chuk Maaf.

saad sangat ji, At the current time when i am typing this, there is like a storm of thoughts in my mind.i have read the japji sahib many times before, but today when i was reading the mool mantar there a thought strikes my mind.i was reading its translation in english.i started like this- ek onkar-god is one,sat nam-his name is truth.i that split second a thought strikes my mind.sat nam implies two things.first the name of the god is truth.and the second thing that comes in my mind is the [GOD IS TRUTH] god himself is truth.now think like me for a second. Truth is one because non truth does not exist. Truth is selfexisting and immortal and beyond births and deaths. Trut…

In this programme Manjit Singh speaks with guests who have been involved with the UK Sikh Chaplaincy Service which was set up in 2005. The guests include Sital Singh Maan, one of the founder Trustees of the group, Parkash Kaur Sohal and Joga Singh who have both been helping and supporting patients in hospitals for many years. Chaplaincy care has been operating in many hospitals and health authorities in predominately Sikh areas for some time but much of this has been on a local level operated more from the strength and understanding of local health authorities and individuals rather than from a national strategy.
