Amritsar, July 4 Mr Kirpal Singh Badungar is under pressure to quit as SGPC chief in the meeting of the SGPC executive committee, scheduled to be held at Guru Nanak Engineering College, Ludhiana on July 10 to pave the way for the change of guard. Following a closed-door meeting between Mr Gurcharan Singh Tohra and Mr Parkash Singh Badal, held at Patiala yesterday, it was decided to appoint Mr Tohra or his close confidant as the next SGPC chief replacing Mr Badungar at the earliest.
