THE LONG WAIT: People who lost their near ones during days of terrorism Poor farmers narrated how their sons were picked up by the police, never to return. The authorities were not interested in finding out what happened to them. The hapless parents waited for long and then knocked all doors of justice but to no avail. Amritsar, June 24 A jatha of Sikh pilgrims will go to Pakistan on June 26 to observe the death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh which falls on June 29. This was disclosed by Mr Ram Singh, an official spokesman for the SGPC in a press note issued here today. The jatha would return to India on July 5 after visiting Sikh shrines in Lahore, Hassan Abdal, Eminabad and other places. The jatha would be led by Mr Onkar Singh Sharifpura, a confidant of Mr Gurcharan Singh Tohra. The selection of Mr Sharifpura has given clear indication that reshuffle in the SGPC is in the offing. link--------http://www.tribuneindia.com/2003/20030625/punjab1.htm#11

This is really old but... One day a man walked in a cab. The driver was a punjabi Sikh, the punjabi man was driving and stopped at a green light. The man in the back asked why he stopped at a green light? The Sikh man replied, "So that all my punjabi mundai could go!" After a while they came to a red light, but the Sikh man still went. The man in the back asked why he did that? The Sikh man replied, " I don't want all these gorrai in front of me!!" HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA! LOL Funny right?????!!!!! :T:
