One Question.. Why does gurdwara outside of india needs an Army of members to run for it.. Whazz up with elections? why there are voting system in gurdwara sahibs? It's no politics.. we r not gonna deal with diplomatic issues.. I don't agree with anything that currently goes in gurdwaras.. It's the place to go and jaap naam simran.. not hearing who's president and who's vice-president.. I really hate to hear those words while im in gurdwara sahib.. I love the concept of gurdwara sahibs of American SInghs/singhnias.. (Non-indian background sikhs).. They have no speaker to speak about elections.. they don't have elections.. all things run very smooth and they never have any problem at all.. As of question.. Can shehajdhari Vote? In my opinion.. NO but sometime it depends on the personality.. like there is this one singh in my gurdwara who is without sikhi roop.. but he is top sewadar of our gurdwara sahib.. Do all langar, joddae saaf sewa and so on.. so i think he should be allowed to vote and stuff.. But again ppls like him are very rare and as of looking at majority.. i think sikhs without Sikhi roop .. shouldn't allowed to vote..

The reason i beleive that Saint jarnail singh ji is in saachkhand cauz if he was alive then he wouldn't hide somewhere and seeing and hearing the news of the Sikh youths of punjab getting corrupted by drugs and other bollywood freaks stuff.. SO it's very sane thing to think that bhinderanwale jeee passed away some 19 yrs agoo.. plz let sants soul rest in peace.. And N3O explained it quite well.. DOn't wait.. Anyone can set an example like sant jee.. if u have dedication like he does... Gurfateh..

THAT"S SOOOOOOOOO TRUE.. above is the reason for whyy im strong in sikhi roop.. And sumeeet kaur jee.. U rocks panjeee .. U seriously shud think of writing articles or even a small book for sikh youth..

Im going toward that way.. cauz of SIKHS like you panjee.. SO guys liek the singh u met online might get impressed by your lifestyle.. (Possible if he doens't have those Punjabi ego pride stuff..) THe thing is that you can find lots of ppls who goes 99% against of Sri Guru Granth sahibs teaching.. BUT they still say that they are sikhs.. NOw if typical non-sikh see this.. he/she will be like this -> :T: The only thing we can do is "setting up the good example".. If you are serious about following the sikhi path.. then pls forget about past karams.. DOn't keep them in ur mind and don't ever think about em.. Cauz if something bad happen to a person.. He/she will go like.. "Oh well.. maybe I did some bad karam in my past life.. so that's i can't do anything right so i will just live my life without doing any hard work".. SO i really not encourage anyone to thik about past karams and stuff like that.. :D hope u don't get offend by me saying this.. Btw, gurkiya_sakhiya .... I moved to another city for a month.. (120 miles away from my actual home).. and I miss my mums ROtiya.. :D oh wait .. i never thought of this.. I can have all junk food i can.. :D but still missing rotiyaa :D

More u live close to whole bunch of indian community (like BC, Fremont,cali) the more messed up stuff u gonna get.. So without being racist.. I will say.. "Stay away from common indian community ONLY If you do not have firm ahold of the core of sikhi".. that's what i think..

I don't see a good balance between sikh community and the sikhi (the actual real sikhi).. Balance is disturbed since the fall of the kingdom of Maharaja Ranjit Singh..
