What Doez He Want?

Ask him about his future plans.. what he wants in a wife...etc,etc... then you can get a picture if you match the image he's protraying of what he wants in a woman. If he's interested or not you'll know either way. But remember as long as your both Sikh. It shouldnt matter... if your not Sikh then you will have to embrace Sikhism if you want to marry him. 126739 Good answer.. i agreee... ask him what kind of wife he's lookin for! :TH: 126763 Yeh I second that. 126765 Good response, I third that, except for one thing: "if your not Sikh then you will have to embrace Sikhism if you want to marry him." Ebracing Sikhism just because you want to marry someone is not a good idea. Embrace Sikhism only if you think this is the Best Way of Life for you, not to get married with a certain person. Lets say for example, you embraced Sikhism and for some reason, you do not get married with that person. Would you leave Sikhism at that point? please correct me if i'm wrong

As I was reading it, i remembered that I have read it somewhere at Sikhnet a while back. It was at Sikhnet Youth Q&A forum submitted on 05/31/04. All I can say to my Sikh Sisters is that please stay away from these things this girl did. I had a friend in uni and similar thing happed to her cousin in UK and she ran away with a paki and he took her to pakintan and they never found out where she is, dead or alive. That's why we always say in Ardas everyday, "Sayee Piarey mel, jinhan de milean Tera Naam chit aavey". Meaning, we need to keep the company of our fellow Sikh brothers and sisters and we will be saved automatically. And wen we are with them, we should discuss our History and Gurbani so that we can learn about ourselves and upleft our Souls and become a good example to ourselves, Sikh Panth, our parents, and most importantly, our future generations. Here's the link for this strory at Sikhnet: http://www.sikhnet.com/sikhnet/youth.nsf/3...33;OpenDocument tk.
5. One day some Yogis came to see Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. They bowed to Guru Ji and told that they have a question that is bothering them. They said that Guru Ji you say your Sikhs are Jeevan-Mukat (Liberated while Alive), but this state is very very tough and we Yogis devote our whole life towards this purpose and therefore, go through lot of physical and mental difficulties while practicing Yoga, and still, there is no guaranttee that we will obtain that state, even after death. But how come you say your Sikhs are Jeevan-Mukat. Guru Ji smiled and replied that: Sikhs have given their 'tan' (body), 'mun' (mind), and 'dhan' (weath) to their Guru. When the Panth or someone is in danger, they devote their tan to Guru, they are ready to sacrifice their life. When they do paath and listen to Gurbani, they give their mun to the Guru, and when they give their dasvandh to the Guru that is their dhan. So if this kind of person won't be jeevan-mukat, who else would be? than man dhhan sabh soup gur ko hukam ma(n)niai paaeeai || Surrender body, mind, wealth, and everything to the Guru; obey the Order of His Will, and you will find Him. 7. I also watched this program. I think it was on one of the local channels. Every person in that program who had near death experience saw a very bright white light. They did not know the source of the light and it was like a tunnel of that light they were travelling through. They were travelling through this light very very rapidly. There was no disturbance, and they described it as everylasting peaceful experience. In one instance, a family, husband, his wife, and a kid were driving the car and suddently it crashed with stones and finally drowned in the river. The husband was driving. The wife said they were trapped inside the car and there was no way out. She suddenly saw her husband sitting on a big boulder near the river and watching then. Finally, her husband helped her and the kid out of the car which was drowned in the water. The wife did not understand how her husband actually managed to helped them out of the car, but he died. Later on, her insurace company took the car pictures and she noticed the cracked windshield window from driver's side. Then she understood that her husband actually died before the car drowned in the water. When she noticed her husband sitting on a big boulder, he was actually dead at that time. There were many other stories like that with real people in real life in that program. However, nobody experieced anything about Jamdoot or Dharamraaj, all of them saw a bright white light. tk.
8. "Guru Ji, please never leave me, if you do i will sink down in the sandaar-samundar (world-ocean of maya), just like that rock that slipped away from your hand and drowned in the water." (i tried my best, anybody with better translation?)
9. Japman Ji, are you married?????? If yes, then I feel sorry for your wife man... :bakreey: lolzzzzzzzzzz!!!!!!!!!!
10. Bhaji, "It is not done, until it is done." Lets for example, you know you gonna marry "this" girl, engagement and all is done, and ur marriage is gonna take place 5 days from now and you have sex with her cuz both of u know u guys gonna marry each other. Lets say, for instance, you die the 4th day. What would happen to that girl who had sex with you before marriage and she will not be getting married with anymore you cuz ur already dead. Later on, she ends up getting married with someone else, but with a Sin in her heart she has committed before marriage. (i dont mean you by you lol... i'm not expecting you death dude... )
11. "Par Nari ki sej, bhool supne hoon na jaeeo." I think its written in Bachitr Natak that Guru Gobind Singh Ji is Saying that: "Don't even think of going to another woman's (other than ur wife) bed even in your dreams, even by mistake" Also no religion (at least to my knoledge) allows sex before marriage. It is just wrong. May Guru Sahib protect his Sikhs, just like he saved Bhai Joga Singh. The guy said: "and he replied why do i need a marriage certificate so that i can do it!!" Reply: Marriage is not a certificate of sex, however, sex is a part of marriage. Its just wrong... Lets say for example, someone had it before marrige with someone and then that person gets married, won't he/she be ashamed in his/her own eyes when he'll/she'll have physical contacts with his/her spouse? It will be a constant killer feeling that will kill one psycologically... Also think of STDs like AIDS and HIV. The medical science still could not find the cure for AIDS. There is a saying in Punjabi, "Dwa naalon parhej changa", meaning, "Prevention is better than cure." Guru Sahib strictly prohibitted these things before marrige and it has soooooooooooooo many countless benefits. One of my friends who reflected back him high school days when we had to take Heal Class, said: "If we follow Sikhi, we do not need to take Health class". What they teach in health class: not to smoke (Sikhs dont' smoke), don't drink and drive (Sikhs do not drink), how to have protective sex (Sikhs are are not allowed to have sex before marriage and only with his/her spouse after marriage), do exercise (Sikhs are a warrior 'kaum', without excercise it is not possible), etc. etc., etc. gustaphi maaf (sorry Kandola bhaji for stealing ur words.)

15. It is a a very sad situation. Acutally, it should be SGGC's duty to collect our literature and in this case, go to this guy, negotiate w/ thim, and get SGGS from him, but they don't care. its only 1x1.5 inches and hand written, its amazing. but how the hell he go a hold of it. The price he put is $21,000.00 and there is not even a single bid yet.

17. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh I just came from Gurdwara Sahib and Bhai Sahib Ji was doing katha of Japji Sahib and he told us a Sakhi of Guru Gobind Singh Ji: One day Guru Gobind Singh Sahib, Patshahan da Patshah, Samrath Guru, was sitting near a river along with his Khalsa. Guru Sahib picked up a small rock and stated playing with it, started throwing it upward with one hand and catching it with the other. Guru Sahib kept doing it for a while and suddently that piece of rock slipped and fell in the river and sinked down. Then Guru Sahib Ji asked one Singh who was standing beside him, "What did you understand?". The Singh replied, "Guru Sahib, the rock was heavier and therefore it sinked and drowned in the water." Guru Sahib asked the second Singh and his reply was similar. Then Guru Sahib turned to Bhai Daya Singh who was standing nearby. Guru Sahib asked him what did you understand? Bhai Daya Singh had tears in his eyes and he was weeping. Bhai Sahib replied, "Guru Sahib Ji, jehre Guru de hathon chhutt dande han oh dubb jande han.... Guru Sahib kirpa karo, menu tusin kade chhaddeo na, menu aapne nalon tutan na deo... nahi tan main vi dubb javanga..."
