  1. Introduction Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale is an iconic figure whose name is well known to Sikhs worldwide. He is remembered as a true Sikh, saint, warrior, upholder of justice and a martyr. His extensive preaching of the Sikh religion, speeches on politics and exposing the barbarity of the Indian government earned him fame within Sikh circles. He was looked upon as a leader of the Sikhs who had reminded them of their glorious past, great sacrifices and bold feats of destroying oppression, tyranny and injustice. His words kindled and awakened the inner spirits of the Sikhs and caused them to realize their political and religious slavery at the hands of the Indian government. The reminder of Sikh history and religious tenets inspired the Sikh people to become true followers of their faith. People started to abandon drinking, smoking, cutting their hair and many other immoral practices. There was widespread adoption of the Sikh religion. All of this, however, did not at all suit those who were keen on seeing the complete downfall of the Sikhs and their complete amalgamation into the folds of Hinduism. In order to destroy and subdue the Sikh movement; it became a pertinent task for the government to eliminate Sant Jarnail Singh as well as crush the Sikh awakening. As a result, an attack was launched under the name of Operation Blue Star in which holiest shrine of the Sikhs, Darbar Sahib (Sri Harmandar Sahib, Sri Akal Takhat Sahib and other places in the vicinity) as well as tens of Sikh Gurdwaras were attacked. Sant Jarnail Singh and many of his companions became martyrs defending the holy place. Thousands of Sikh visitors were killed and thousands were taken prisoners. Sikh Reference Library containing rare manuscripts, history books and literature was destroyed. The amount of damage caused to the Sikh religion was immense. It was an attack on Sikh spirit and sought to instill fear in the hearts of Sikhs with the intention of coercing them into accepting the rule of the Indian government and forsaking their freedom. It was no less than a holocaust. However, the Indian government with the help of its paid writers and media resorted to propaganda to save its face and justify its heinous crimes.. Being the proponents of the government, paid writers wrote scores of books and articles to malign the name of Sant Jarnail Singh by portraying him as a terrorist, and a violent and dangerous man. Many excuses were devised to misrepresent the Sikh movement and justify the attack and atrocities committed by the Indian military. As the common saying goes, repeat a lie often enough and people will believe it uninformed people, including some Sikhs ignorant of the true facts, began to believe the lies of the government. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to refute misconceptions about Sant Jarnail Singh, examine many of the propaganda theories put forth by the government agents, bring the actual facts to the limelight and show that it was in fact the Indian military that was violent, aggressive and terroristic. 2. I need information on all the false and anti-Gurmat statements made by Gurbachan Thailand and Dhunda in their lectures and writings. Can someone point out where they make these statements? If it is a video/audio, please provide the time if you have it. It is required to get our local Gurdwara to not invite them.
  3. In the context we are discussing only groups who claimed to be the Guru or prophet. Masands fall into a different group.
  4. Masands were not punished for personal reasons. But Mohammad killed others for claiming what he thought was his personal right.
  5. I don't know the particulars of the case. For USA one gets the PCC from passport office. One can get it from local police station but no past record is really checked. Bribe works magic. For being an Internet supporter alone will not get you in any trouble.
  6. What needs to be looked at is how the Sikh Gurus handled and dealt with those who claimed to be the Guru in comparison to Mohammad. It does not matter whether one is a family or not. During Guru Nanak Dev Ji, a Nanoo Pandit adopted the name Nanak and claimed to be the prophesized prophet but when he had a dialogue with Guru Sahib, he admitted his mistake and reformed himself. On the other hand, when someone claimed to be a prophet during Mohammads time, the latter sent his followers to kill the former. No dialogue ever took place. This shows how Mohammad reacted violently when his ego was hurt. If one wants to compare apples to apples then the only correct comparison is the time period of the first Guru and Mohammad because both were first leaders of their respective communities. Guru Sahib appointed a successor which kept Gurmat from falling in divisions and internal conflicts. Opposition that came from Minas, Ram Rais etc. was from those who had deviated from Gurmat and can be compared to those like Abu Jahl. The cause of opposition was the desire to become the rightful heir to Gurugaddi. Guru Sahib or Sikhs never showed violent hostility towards such groups. Even after ascension of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Sikhs did not kill any fake gurus. It was easy for the Gurus to eliminate such groups but being full of mercy and having conquered their ego, they did not act in anger. They believed that falsehood doesnt last forever and in lapse of time such groups disappeared. This shows that Sikhs bore no hatred for any such groups. Mohammad on the other hand had no plans to appoint any successor which is why no one from his family could claim to be the next prophet. Also, Mohammad had no sons when he died so who could really lay any claim? Nonetheless, his death brought internal conflict over the next leader and eventually resulted in Shia Sunni split. Sikh nation has never faced such a split. Various jathebandis with minor rehat differences are unanimous that Sri Guru Granth Sahib is the rightful successor of Gurugaddi. Those who claimed to be the prophet after Mohammads death were severely dealt with and killed. Further, Mohammad had his own share of problems and family feuds. His wives were constantly involved in conspiracy, slandering and bickering over sex nights. They were jealous of each other constantly engaged in trying to win more nights by badmouthing the other. At least two of Mohammads marriages were broken on the wedding night even before he had the chance to consummate. He was so disturbed that he left all his wives for some time and vowed to not have sex with them. He even threatened to divorce them if they didnt correct their attitude and Allah threatened to replace them with better wives. Guru Sahib had no such conflicts with their wives. Whereas Sikh Gurus and Sikhs showed compassion and adopted more liberal attitude towards the opposing groups, Mohammad and Muslims were ruthless, hateful and intolerant.
  7. If you remain anonymous you shouldn't have any problem. You can get PCC from passport office the same day as long as you know someone and pay bribe.
  8. With Guru Sahib's kirpa, new Sikh Freedom has been launched. We will try to keep it updated on regular basis.
  9. The answer is provided on this page: http://searchsikhism.com/hind11
  10. I do not wish to drag it on since Khalistan is not here yet so we cannot guarantee anything in regards to political and economic policies. What I can say is that when true Khalsa establish Khalsa rule in Khalistan, all the issues will be dealt with based on Gurmat ideals. When I say we cannot flourish without a rule, I refer to economic, social and political flourishment specifically. At individual level, no one is stopping us from reaching brahmgyan but without our own rule, religious condition of the entire Panth may not see any stability since anti-Sikhi groups, RSS, dehdharis etc. will always be giving us troubles. These groups will not flourish without State funding and in Khalistan no one will be funding them. Even in India, some will die after Khalistan is created. A central Sikh body is required to address community wide issues and we will not be completely united until then. Religious controversies can only be resolved in Gurmattas which is nearly impossible to conduct let alone organize without a Sikh rule because non-Sikh governments and groups will have free hands in infiltrating and causing issues. A Sikh government can establish a Naam University where spiritual seekers come to resolve their spiritual issues and any problems they face in their respective avasthas. Sikh religion can only go up in a Sikh rule governed by Gurmat. Western countries represent us as Americans, Canadians etc. but not a single country represents us as Sikhs. While Western countries are very accommodating, they cannot represent Sikhs. 1. Would khalistan support death penalty? or life in imprisonment? No guarantee on political structure of Khalistan. We cannot predict future. For some grave crimes, it should be given. 2. Would khalistan support abortion (due to rape cases)? Again, it is in the hands of a government. My personal opinion is that a child should not be punished to death. Punish the rapist not the innocent child. The mother can be financially supported by the government and the child can be given in adoption if she doesn’t wish to keep it. 3. Would khalistan support rehablitation/redemption programs for worst criminals- child molesters, rapist, killers, murders, war criminals? It depends on the person. If a killer doesn’t change his habits then why spend money on him and force him to change? If a person wants to change, that’s a different case. 4. Would khalistan support america type of captlism type model? or cuba? socialism? or canada bit of both? How about good elements of all? Our intent should be to have prosperity of all. With principle of Vand Chakna, I think we can beat all other systems. 5. Would khalistan support free health care? I find it hilarious. Tell me the population of Khalistan, GDP and health care budget and I might give the answer. Sick people can go to Darbar Sahib and do Naam Simran in the sangat of Sikhs, they wouldn’t need any health insurance after that. 6. Would khalistan support unionized type of work? Who knows. 7. Would khalistan western style investment, stocks type of plays? Why not. Stocks, bonds etc. Social/life style: 1 Would khalistan support local kids having outdoor dating boyfreind and girlfreind- kids trying to find a match? or it would strictly controlled by khalsa police? There won’t be any police to strict dating. Schools, educational programs, Gurmat oriented camps and programs will ensure that our children don’t fall prey to such practices. 2. Would khalistan support chill out place? like playdium-gaming arenas, light clubbing (no drinks) No casinos, drinking bars, pubs etc. I say no drugs, tobacco and alcohol within the borders of Punjab especially. Educate the public about the harms. 3. Would khalistan support cinemas/theatres? hollywood movies? bollywood movies? Maybe. I can’t predict the future but I doubt these industries will find much audience in Khalistan. Sports 1. Would khalistan support open swimming for girls in pools? For children it should be fine but for adults there should be separate pools just like we have reserved places for sarovars. 2. Would khalistan support tennis with shorts? What’s wrong with appropriate length shorts? Misc. 1. Would khalistan supports all sorts of movement within peta, environmentalist, feminist, gun movements etc? Who is planning to start these? 2. How will be police and miltary structure in khalistan? would policing will be given to all and expecting 3rd party non authorized sikhs policing streets? This question is not clear. Central government will control military and all its branches while police will be local at state level. Each city will control its own police. Non-Sikhs can be part of police and military. These are all my personal opinions and I do not know enough about all subject matters. A constitution is written after a country is established. No point in writing it before that. You can read Gurbani and study Sikh history to learn about some of the rules, laws and policies.
  11. There seems to be some naïve questions/excuses against Khalistan. Either opposers don’t understand it or are against it for no valid reason. Buddhism spread far a wide only after King Ashoka adopted it and made it an official State religion. During this time period, Buddhism spread from Afghanistan to Japan and Kashmir to Sri Lanka as well as Thailand etc. Even Buddhists lost their political power, they became pretty much extinct from India. It was only during last century that it started to gain some influence in India and that was because of Indian politics accommodating it. Khalsa was created to be sovereign and we cannot flourish without a political State. Our Gurdwaras, religious beliefs, women, children and future generations will never be safe all the time under a foreign rule. We have seen in 18th century how Sikhs were persecuted and our safety entirely depended on the mood swings of the Mughal officials. British rule was no different. Our Gurdwaras remained in their hands and we didn’t even have the right to wear a Kirpan and a black turban until beginning of 20th century. How do you think 9” kirpan became common? Because British allowed this length only. Our Anand Karaj was illegal until 1906 and in the surrounding areas of Darbar Sahib we had to endure idols, prostitutes, lecherous shops and songs until 1906. In Hindu rule, we are no longer considered a separate nation and our survival is in jeopardy. How can we ever justify that Akal Purakh Ki Fauj remain without its own weapons, artillery, defense system, standing army, navy, air force and training programs? What does Khalsa Fauj have compared to other militaries? Absolutely nothing and that is because we have no political state. Any Sikh can practice his faith quietly in his home but the entire Panth cannot make a progress without having any independent rule. Guru Sahib didn’t make us quietist. He made us active householders. We will always remain at the mercy of the rulers in our respective countries and when the law changes, it will be our throat. Examples of France, Quebec and Belgium are in front of us. Italy doesn’t allow any Sikh to board a plane without taking his turban off. No one can guarantee that USA, Canada or other countries will always remain democratic, tolerant and liberal. Nonetheless, these countries cannot represent Sikhs as Sikhs. We need a country that represents us worldwide as Sikhs so that no matter where a Sikh has problems due to his religion, there will be a political state supporting him and he can always go to his nearby Khalistan embassy. Our Gurdwaras deteriorating in Muslim countries are due to our lack of political platform. I can go on and on but benefits of political country are numerous. No one has to move back but I am sure many Sikhs will and I personally will never stay in any western country even if I have to survive on one meal a day in Khalistan. Now let me address some questions: Can muslim do namaz, do hallal, sunnat based on their own traditions in the khalistan? Yes but in their own mosques not publically. This means no azan in speakers. Can hindus do gita da patt, puja, rituals in the khalistan? Yes, in their homes and mandirs. What about others buddhist, christians, shintos etc? Yes. Can sumaraie carry their own ceremonial swords, walk around in streets of khalistan? Yes as long as they abide by the law and don’t use in offense. Can atheist can live in khalistan? Yes. It is their personal belief and forcing religion on anyone is against Gurmat. what about natural born homosexuals? First of all, it has not been proven that homosexuals are natural born or it is in their genes. Second, they cannot be considered Sikhs. Therefore, while their human rights will be guaranteed and they will not be discriminated in employment, they cannot have marriage rights nor can their Anand Karaj be done. They will have to live as individuals. They cannot hold any positions exclusively for Sikhs i.e. Granthi, katha vachak, Panj Pyare etc. These questions are simply mundane because our focus should be on our own survival rather than opposing Khalistan due to uncertainty of other groups’ rights. In Muslim countries, non-Muslims have no right yet they are surviving. In many European countries, Sikhs have limited rights yet they are surviving. I am not saying we will be like them but focus on our survival first and then think about other groups and immigrants. If Muslims, Hindus and Christians don’t like it they can appeal in Sikh courts or go back to their own countries. Guru Rakha
  12. Just to clarify, I am not sikh answers. The website is not mine and the id on your forum was not registered by me.
  13. I have not read Gyan Parbodh but I have studied other Banis by Guru’s Kirpa and I came to the irrefutable conclusion that Gurmat is unique and far above Vedas. Vedas are not revealed but Gurbani is. Vedas are stuck in maya but Gurbani is free from it. I have read works of Hindu scholars on Six Hindu Systems and while they are in variant with each other in terms of reality, knowledge, goal, moksha, creation and eternality they are all different fundamentally from Gurmat. Sure there are similarities to some extent but Gurmat by far exceeds them in presenting the absolute truth and remains unique. Vedas used to be three initially and much later a fourth one was added. At that time Vedas were nothing more than animal and human sacrifice, yantra/mantra tantrum, worshipping idols and numerous gods/goddesses and women having sex with horses etc. According to Swami Dharma Teertha, Upnishads were written by Kshatriyas to counter Brahmins but latter eventually won over the political supremacy and incorporated Upnishads with Vedas. Vedas advocating multi-god worship, absolute Nirgun, Omnipresent reality, prakriti and purusha being two eternal realities and having no God at all are all contradictory beliefs. So how can a serious student ever consider Vedas to possess the same essence as Gurbani? It is not possible. Picking and choosing one chapter alone does not justify it at all. Yet again you did not prove how the interpretation I provided is wrong. Just because there are three layers of Vedas as you claim, it doesn’t de facto prove me wrong. I believe Gurmat is superior to others and if this means bias to you then I am biased towards the truth. I cannot hold any other philosophy at par with the truth revealed in Gurbani. This doesn’t make me “hindu phobic”. Also, you only provided a dictionary definition of fascism. What does that prove? Absolutely nothing. I am not an authoritarian government nor a social organization and I am also not part of any. Singh Sabha was a religious revival organization that did not advocate politics at all. So how was it or I am fascist? What you need to prove is how I have elements of fascism in me which you have utterly failed in. It is easy to play the blame game but without providing any evidence you will end up running every time. I want to iterate although it may not carry any weight for you that I do not hate Hindus or their philosophies. I do not have anything against you personally. I simply oppose anti-Sikhi elements and individuals which you misconstrue as hateful. I do not wish to brainwash anyone. I only share the information I get from books written by gursikhs and no one is compelled to agree with me. Regardless, my mind stays peaceful with Naam.
  14. The article has nothing against Khalistan. The author does seem ignorant of the concept of Khalsa Rule and out of reality about the beginning of Khalsa Rule.
  15. Barinderpal Singh (neo n30), without providing any hard evidence you cannot be taken seriously. And what is all the fuss about? That I posted a link to interpretation you find hard to swallow? Such hypocrisy and ironic considering that you believe Gurbani has unlimited meanings. The interpretation I wrote is based on my experience and why cant this be right? So far and in the past so many years not once have you provided any logical refutation. All you do is throw the name of Sant Ji but you know what, Sant Ji never spoke like you do and he always exhibited Gursikh qualities in his deed and thought. You are a black spot to true sampardaic traditions. If you feel I am wrong in Gurbani interpretation then be a man and refute it with reasoning. I am sure your nirgun/sargun, transcendence experience would have no problem in defeating limited puny grammar. You are taking one line out of the whole debate and putting it out of context. Hindus believe in Hanuman and Ganesha. Hanuman is a monkey God and Ganesha does ride a mouse according to Hinduism. How is this hatred? There is nothing insulting in calling spade a spade as you put it. And why are you keep harping over fascism? Do you really know what fascism is? I have asked for proofs multiple times but you havent been able to provide any so far. I guess lying is another one of your attributes. Then you get too personal over the old issue of me trying to get you banned. Believe me, if I wanted to ban you I would have and I had all the access. Your posts in this thread are a proof of the reasons. I am not afraid to debate you but I have grown up from childish bickering and am mature enough to debate according to the rules of logic which you do not know squat about. On your own forum you made a remark that you could get back on sikhsangat through the back door if you wanted but you did not want to go back. As soon as you found (through my revelation) that I had quit the moderating team, you literally begged through SunSingh for the moderation to be lifted. Little did you know that I still had access to the moderator forum at the time. What a man of word you are. Again I find it ironic that you scream about fascism on this forum yet run off to your own cave (forum) to discuss Indian Fascism article I wrote a while back. Not a single member of your forum has provided any evidence to refute Indian Fascism. You are all the same. When you have no evidence, you resort to personal attacks. Vitanda Vaad is all you know. It is a shame on all those who speak against Khalistan after all the suffering we have gone through. If a persons spirit doesnt get kindled after knowing the horrors of 1984, November genocide and how our women were dishonored in the streets and a decade long systematic liquidation, he/she is not a Sikh.
  16. And the only way I guess you can uphold your twisted “traditional” views is by throwing insults and labeling others with derogatory terms without any shred of evidence. Speaks multitude on what great job sampardas are doing these days in imparting education and teaching logic which does not go beyond ad-hominem. One can only wonder what the “awakened” Taksalis would do with such an education. Follow the footsteps of Sant Ji or become modern day mahants who are hell bent on destroying every originality from Gurmat and assimilate it into Hinduism.
  17. Bhai Sahib, I am always reluctant to post on such topics because Sikhs are not mentally and spiritually equipped to deal with such subjects. Every jatha and group picks their best guy and elevates him to God’s perfection where he is never wrong and disagreement with him is seen as belittling and insulting him. This is why no matter how genuine the saroop may be, Sikhs will think of mool mantar and Raag Maala and call it authentic/unauthentic based on this alone. Instead of changing their own beliefs they will blame the saroop. They pay no attention to correcting printing errors in saroops or correcting the position of the mangals or looking at other subjects. All they care about is first paragraph and the last Ang like there exists nothing else in between. Very few Sikhs are genuinely interested in finding original saroops shedding their own beliefs and bias. Regarding original Damdami Bir Sahib – The picture posted is not from the original Bir. I believe the Bir was not lost during the great holocaust because only Giani Gian Singh introduced this theory without any evidence. This not new information. Most Sikhs just don't know about it. Prin. Harbhajan Singh, Giani Garja Singh and others have done research in this matter and they believed the original Bir still exists. We have seen original saroops being tampered with by Sikhs during Raag Maala debate and I do not wish the fate of Damdami Bir to be the same. We need to learn to be united despite our differences and only then can we make any progress.
  18. DSGj, from the poetry it doesn't sound like rachna of Guru Sahib because it is not as rich and powerful compared to other compositions. One pauri seems to be a copy and derivation of a pauri from Vaars. I think Sodhak committee must have made a sound decision after much deliberation.
  19. You need to learn to write better and please check your grammar from next time on. Since you don’t know the basics of grammar what evidence do you have to prove that grammar limits Gurbani? How foolish to say that Gurbani has unlimited contradictory meanings and it is not structured at all like it is manmade and not divinely revealed. If you are so keen on stressing unlimited meanings then what problem do you have with the ones provided by the other side? Why must everyone agree with what you say or your sampardas? Fascism at best. Experience and grammar are two different things. Grammar pertains to how Gurbani is written and what meanings it conveys. Experience is limitless. Are you assuming the authority of Panj Pyare to tell others what to do naam japp of? So how do you determine which rules to accept and which ones to reject? Grammar keeps Gurbani from contradictions, distortions and misinterpretation. Otherwise one is free to offer any meanings. Again, experience is different and anubhav meanings will never contradict grammar. As one’s anubhav increases he will reveal higher grammar rules. Your as well as sampardaic understanding of Gurmat Reality is heavily influenced by Vedanta of Shankra which is contrary to Gurmat. Not just Bhai Randhir Singh but Bhai Vir Singh has also rejected it in his books. I do not mind samparda interpretation. They have their view but I do not categorically label them and throw insults like you nor do I call their contribution and seva as “crap”. So swami rama defines what Gurmat is? Absolutely ridiculous. Ok, so all other Sikhs are bad/nazis blah blah blah...How does that make them wrong? You live in a samparda box and nothing else exists. This is intolerant behavior and attitude. Which Vedanta are you referring to? You are so ignorant about Vedanta and yet fail to realize it. You seem delusional. In Shankra’s Vedanta, Brahm is absolute which refers to being non-immanent. Also, world is maya but Brahm is not. Therefore, both are separate. It is a paradox and Shankra was refuted by Hindu scholars yet ignorant Sikhs are still attached to it. Vedanta and spiritual progress? You must be kidding. World is maya so anything you do in it is also part of maya. Any progress is also maya. Where does that leave the Reality? Nowhere. True experience comes from Naam Simran and I am ecstatic with it. It is very simple. But you wouldn’t understand the context. So how wise is it to insult the very people you have learned from and call their work “crap”? Interfaith means sharing beliefs not mixing beliefs. You seem to be stuck in a time period when idols were installed in Darbar Sahib and everyone thought Sikhi was part of Hinduism. Diversity and contradictions are definite meanings. Learn the difference first. It’s fine to have interfaith dialogue and even learn Hindu faith from Hindus but they are no authority on Sikhi. So it’s fine for you to learn Sikhi from Hindus but not for me to learn Sikhi from Sikhs. Why do you have double standard and bias and hatred towards other Sikhs? Your cheap insults have no effect on me. This isn’t personal. How is it about Khalistan in any way? I know it isn’t republic in your mind. It is monarchy where only your viewpoint must be heard and all others labelled as nazis and killed. You must be spiritually sick or having a mental breakdown. One doesn’t need to be part of a hindu color/RSS mindset school of thought to be acceptable. Don’t pick one scholar out of a list and think you have properly addressed the point. He was part of a group and He agreed with the interpretations of other scholars. With your grammatical errors and sentence lacking proper structure and punctuations, I am not the one lacking education. It is you who lacks basic understanding of grammar. I simply posted a one line post and you turned it into a futile bickering. Why did you waste the time? You could’ve easily posted your viewpoint and respectfully disagreed. I would’ve had no qualms over it. This is funny. I never claim to be a scholar or as learned as such gursikhs. I learn from them as much as I can and respect them equally even when I disagree with them rather than calling their work “crap”. They are all my elder brothers and I consider them a part of Khalsa family where we may have differences but at the end we are all children of the same father. You, however, seem to be indifferent. Again, still waiting on any proofs on how I or Singh Sabhas are nazis/rss etc.
  20. There isnt even much pre-Singh Sabha literature let alone a full teeka. Just because during Singh Sabha much literature was written and published doesnt mean it went against Gurmat. The interpretation was presented by Kahan Singh Nabha in 1899 who learned it from sampardas most of which had fallen prey to Hindu influence by the time. Bhai Randhir Singh also advocates the same interpretation as well as Pandit Kartar Singh Dakha who beat Hindu scholars on various subjects in open debates numerous times. I didnt know I had written a teeka of any granth. If gyan and bhagti are your topics of interest then why are they missing from your posts and language? Without actually defining the terms tat khalsa idealogy you are making no sense. Typical samparda approach. No valid arguments, just personal attacks. Old is not always gold and samprdas are the ones who wish to reform Sikhi to make RSS easy to absorb Sikhism into Hinduism. Panj Pyare avtars of hindu gods, kachera from hanuman etc. is all the Hindu crap which Taksal and sampardas have been unable to defend against ignorant missionary fools. How well do you think it can defend such nonsense at an academic level? Yep, you know it all and all others are wrong. What a Sikhi you are preaching. Since Gurbani rejects the authority of Vedas, I have no problem doing the same. You are indirectly stating that Gurbani has nothing else to offer. By the way, you still havent provided any rational refutation. Of I forgot, you are completely ignorant of the Gurbani grammar just like your sampardas. False. You do not know anything about theology of Vedas let alone Gurmat. There are variations of Advaita Vedanta each one conflicting and going against one another. Vedanta itself has many contradictory versions and it is only one school of thought. There are other schools in Upnishads that are atheistic and Gurmat is contrary to such schools. Gurbani advocates monotheistic, Jainism is atheistic, Vedanta is monistic as well as pantheistic etc. Some believe in multiple permanent realities and some assume no creator of the world. You seriously need to study before making a fool of yourself by comparing lofty Gurmat theology to something wholly incongruent as Vedic thought. False. Apart from same terminology, the definition as well as philosophical aspects are different. You are implying that Gurbani is not revealed and whatever exists in Gurbani had already existed in Vedas. This is what RSS says that Gurbani is summary of the Vedas. So finally, you show your true colors. Absolutely not. How do you know they are same apart from the same terminology? Yogis consider their dasam duar to be something different than what Sikh mystic saints have described. In Vedanta there is no such thing as brahmgyan that exists in Gurmat. In Vedanta, Brahm is completely outside the creation and everything you do and know is part of maya and remains an illusion. Hence, not real. So how can you even get to know Him let alone experience Him? It is not possible. In Gurmat, the experience is real because the Reality exists in the world. No wonder why you are completely lost and confused about Gurmat essence and always give it a Hindu coloring. Ever thought about learning Gurmat theology and philosophy from Sikhs? I guess that sounds farfetched to you. I respect Sant Gurbachan Singh but it doesnt mean I have to agree with him every time. There are other myriads of scholars like Pandit Kartar Singh Dakha, Giani Ditt Singh, Bhai Kahan Singh Nabha, Bhai Vir Singh and Bhai Randhir Singh who have written on such subjects. I trust them also. To understand Hinduism, Vedas and Upnishads I trust Dasgupta, Radhakrishnan and other authorities on the subjects. Limiting yourself to one person is foolish and trapping yourself in a box. You still havent proved how I am or Singh Sabha is the same as RSS/Fascism/Nazi. Do you lack integrity to prove it?
  21. There you go with your cheap shots. For your ignorant brain, Singh Sabha was not a reform movement but a revival movement. This has been proven on academic level. Numerous books have been written on Singh Sabha yet I doubt you ever went beyond the literature published by Damdami Taksal. If Sikhi isn’t insecure then why are you so insecure about your personal beliefs? Why can’t you ever prove yourself right by providing proofs instead of attacking and belittling others? You seem to be stuck at the same point for the last 10 years. Calling anything wrong doesn’t make it wrong. Where’s the proof and what reasoning do you have to prove it wrong? You have no idea what RSS, Fascist and Nazi ideology is all about yet a fool like you has the audacity to compare Sikhs with such infamous and notorious groups. I suggest you pick a dictionary first and read the definition. Is that all you have learned from sampardas and company of sant/mahapurash/brahmgyanis? I am willing to debate you on this anytime anywhere provided that you provide proofs and debate it with rules of logic rather than hold one person as “know-it-all” by elevating him to God’s level and consider him to be the only ultimate authority. Your own post and language used show how intolerant and insecure you are as well as being a bigot against others’ viewpoint. These are the elements of fascism. I didn’t write a post to attack any personal, viewpoint or a jatha. You could’ve done the same but I guess sampardas are not teaching good virtues anymore and the only “logical” defense they have is to throw insults. When will you grow up?
  22. If your comment is directed to me then: The same argument can be applied to you as well. Maybe your buddhi is defected for considering the wrong meanings. Interpretation I provided is not only according to grammar but also in consonance with the rest of Gurbani. These meanings are not new nor invented by Singh Sabha. The translation is wrong because it throws the whole context of the pauri out of the flow. I did not blame Gurbani. I blame translation to be wrong.

  24. The plan is to have Pakistan Gurdwaras gallery on Sikh Freedom because it serves to tell how only a Sikh government can properly take care of Sikh shrines in Muslim countries. So it is more suitable there which is why I removed it from searchsikhism where I wish to keep information related to the Sikh religion only. But I do not have the updated photos of the Gurdwaras. I have heard, some have improved while some deteriorated. Most non-historic Gurdwaras have been converted to office buildings, shops etc. Sikh-Maratha article is not really an article but part of a rebuttal that was part of a long debate. It briefly compares Sikhs and Marathas in terms of plunder, rape and enemy treatment especially women. The rebuttal is here: http://sikhfreedom.com/eunuch2.html The debate inspired me to write an article on Indian Fascism: http://sikhfreedom.com/fascism.html And also a separate Sikh-Maratha article is in plan after I read through some of more history books I have acquired recently. Right now, the goal is to convert the html site to drupal otherwise uploading new content and managing it is very time consuming. The plan is to upload a new article/book on searchsikhism every month and convert the sikhfreedom site and then update it with new content. But it is all in the hands of Gods Will. Guru Rakha
  25. Khushwant Singh accused Sant Ji of threatening to kill him and spoke against him when he was there but Khushwant made up this lie because he was not there in Manji Sahib and Sant Ji never met him. Also, Sant Ji never made such a remark because it is not found in any of the sources nor confirmed by any of other Sikhs. Sant Ji openly refuted statements and threats of anti-Sikhs. He didn't care who it was. His speech doesn't prove he knew Khushwant Singh or had anything against him. I will try to find the passage from the book and post it.
