Why dont you go to site http://www.guraasra.com/ These are mostly children of sikhs that give there life for sikhi. There are mostly very young and need our help. Please give as much as you can for them as it involved a lot of money for there education and good future and it is our duty to help them.

Sat Sri Akal, I have thought to write a program for Windows 32. It will do is contact any web site, see if there is any update then previous time it contacted site, and download the changes (Only specific data). It should run on a scheduler. Dont want third party tools as they can be virus. For this i need to program with winsock lib, anyone having any exp with it? Regards.

I am very much against any superstitions, But i remember that such thing actually happened, even if it was co incidence. But that surely happened in our village Gurudwara.

Yes i agree on ground not all hindus are bad, i always think that. But the Indian govt has done much worst acts. But media is brainwashing. I have seen my friends from haryana in much worst condition. they were really having toughest time studying there. I will say there is no other solution except to fight for our rights. My father used ti say most of the crime was done by sikh police against our sikh brothers. Bur the hindu organizations are really a threat. So whats the solution if they dont respect us what we can do, we can only reply in same way. It really hurts to see little kids teased by other kids telling them it is 12 and you will be dumb. You can see its impact on small kids, either it aroused hatred towards itself or hate towards hindus. No other way out. So there is no solution as per present , indian govt and media will continue to do that. so only solution left is to fight for your rights. You are talking about Punjab or north India or Outside India. Then i am not sure of condition in your country, But i talked about Punjab where i see reality on ground.

I can say that all Hindus are not bad. Most of them even dont know about sikhism. But most of them living in Punjab and around north India does not like sikhs. I have many Hindu classmates who on one side talk to me but on other side evryday make fun of Sikhs considering us mentally weak. I can say for my best friend untill i realise this. he is also same. The problem is with govt propaganda they have made Hindus and sikhs drifted apart. They have made sikhs as terrorists in eyes of Hindus also so they no longer have any respect. They consider us as not equal to them and in same way the gap has drifted apart. The after 84 various intelligence services has done further to drift the gap, sorry to say the gap has so widden that it has made a natural way of life for Hindus majority of north. They will respect you in yourpresence but still insult sikhi. I will say media and all are working against it. They are trying to show and make us Hindu. RSS is minority but it can do great damage. It is undermining of our thinking. The Badal and company(Badal RSS wale) have done there best to make all sikhs Punjabi. So i say that it is not that Hinduism is wrong but it is truth that most hindus in north dont respect us. and if someone dont respect my religion and my people, i have no respect for them. Sat Sri Akal, I just remember when i was kid that my mother told me that after akal takht was destroyed by Indian Army. In coming days Baajs (Eagles) were seen in many Gurudwaras including our local Gurudwara.. I just dont remember this fully. Please if anyone remembers if this is true incident? Regards.

Why to worry, our Gurus are seeing us. Who knows when they will do Kirpa to a singh, to change all. We survived the Mughal rule so why to afraid this modern time,

Sat Sri Akal, I have been away from my parents for two years. I am working in IT and having a good project, nice team and a lot of respect. But my parents are very old and they want me to leave job and go back to Punjab.We have good agricultural land in Punjab. I am somewhat confused, i know there is nothing in my life more important than my parents so i am thinking of leaving job. Please guide, my parents will not leave Punjab. Regards

Lucknow/ New Delhi, Sept. 11: The judge who had ruled that Muslims are not a minority in Uttar Pradesh has come up with another controversial statement: the Gita should be recognised as India’s national “dharma shastra”. Days before retiring, Justice S.N. Srivastava of Allahabad High Court said in an order: “As India has recognised its national flag, national anthem, national bird, national animal and national flower, Bhagvad Gita may be considered the rashtriya dharma shastra (national religious text).” The order on August 30 said the Gita had inspired those involved in the freedom struggle. “Hence, it is the duty of every citizen of India under Article 51-a of the Constitution of India, irrespective of caste, creed or religion, to follow dharma as propounded by the Gita,” Srivastava said.

They will never block anyone(even from RSS) on IP, i know Balait da sher. I was telling him for many times to block on IP and not on Username but he never Block anyone, he says Sikhsangat is not to block anyone, max he puts some guy under moderation. You have not done anything wrong. I will assure they never Block anyone as you described. It must be wrong with your PC or network. Just use your account at some other place. Yes it matters a lot, how the hell can anyone change the meaning for sikh. I first think they call singni, i was really furious, But they have no rights to change our culture. Why should anyone associate Om with our religion. We are not Hindus, so why do they want us to show as Hindus. Once they treat us as terrorists, in second ways as fools with 12 o clock jokes and third way changing very definition of sikhs. The Guru is seeing all there stupid things. It is not right to forget this. When someone tries to change your religion and culture, one should not only recite name, we have to come forward for our right. The Ahmed Shah Abdali defeated marathas in Panipat, its the sikhs who defeated them. A Maratha leader comes to Ranjit Singh for help, in order to fight English, But Ranjeet Singh treat him well but do not want to fight British so he refused to send his army. If he help marathas the scene in India will be different. So read some Histroy first. Maraths liberate Punjab, Some people make me laugh, if i say Sikhs Fight in maharashtra for maratha rule.. Sat Sri Akal, A new Bollywood flick going to relaesed in coming time. "Just we met" starring sikh girl (Kareena) and non sikh (sazid) has various anti sikh elements. I found in trailer. 1) Four pictures were displaysed of Om, Guru Nanak dev jee, Guru Gobind Singh jee and Harmandir Sahib. I was unable to link Om with rest of three. Do they want to present Sikhsa s Hindus. 2)The thing that hurts me, is Kareena without Chunni not taken amrit and cutting her hairs, called herself as Singhni? It is really disturbing. 3)They want to portray, that singhnis are more intrested in hindus? I really say that they should remove singhni :D or else They have no right to redifine sikh religion and our great singhnis. How can one see a singhni with cut hairs, without chunni, without amrit and roaming with Hindu boy? Regards

The truth is these things should be taught in Gurudwaras but we lack good preachers. he just wants to say as you feel that way take incentive and start to preach that way. The truth is we are only good in speaking and nothing else. Our kathni and karni is much different. He wants to just ask you to do some good work.

I dont think there is anything wrong in subscribing to spokesman. I think that it is better than some other Punjabi papers in bringing issues in sikhi, atleast they do well in writing articles on Ram raheem. Everything has shortcomings but i think that they are good as Punjabi newspaper. My parents and many in our village read spokesman. So it is no issue, I say everyone should read it, Its good newspaper. For magazine i prefer Sikh Shadat over spokesman. I also advocate most of Dasam Granth should not be read. So it is an opinion, its not big issue, all we sikhs can still love and respect each other in spite of having differences on that.
