Veerji i like your spirit and so much wish i cud do something...but at this level all i can do is do ardass and simran and tell fellow sikhs wat gr8 saint Sant Ji was...our ppl dnt know abt them rest aside other religions...most of the sikhs from Delhi think Sant ji was a terrorist...So tell ur fellow sikhs...give them his speeches...educate them thats all i guess we can do....

dasso what shud we do and I am glad to do anything for the panth....

Veerji our hands r tied...wish we could all unite up and fight them but Sikhs n unity are 2 different things..it is so sad...

interesting topic....lol..i believe that we can find our partner ourself and then go over to our parents to approve of it...my parents have always told me that i can marry any1 irrespective of caste or religion....but my mom says I shud be only marrying some1 who likes me for what i am ....that is A Sikh boy with turban n beard...she said there is nothing bigger than sikhi so if a girl wants me to cut my hair or has little preference n respect for them then she is not for me... and in todays world i believe in India and in New Zealand as well it is hard to find punjabi girls who likes turbaned boys...although i have some goris at my work make comments on my turban...saying wow that looks cool...lol...n i feel all proud...lol...might be they havnt seen any1 with turban before as i am the only turbaned boy in the whole company...lol.. so yeah i dnt plan to get married anytime soon...n havnt even thought abt it but i think when the time comes i will let my mom do the search n i am sure our parents are always right...other than once or twice...lol

Punjabi all the way...even teaching goras punjabi at my work....lol....i dnt remember that song by Amribder Gil...it says "hello hello karde kite fateh bulani na bhuleyo"...so yeah 1st of all punjabi n then english where it is hard to manage without punjabi...n i feel like slapping those ppl in punjab especially girls from pinds dat used to come to study in Chandigarh n tried to speak english just to look mod...n man their english was pathetic..but they still thought they made out better in crowd wid english than our beautiful punjabi... and in punjabi i luv punjabi accent of Canadians n Americans...it sounds so sweet...i just keep listening to my cousins when they speak punjabi...lol...

well wat i wanted to know has gone way off the trail...lol..all i wanted to know was is this quote from SGGS or not: "Sikh hoye sir topi dhare, sat janam kashti hoye marae".. I know Sikhs r not allowed caps and it is not what i recommend at all...and i know all the other panktis from gurbani as well but i am only confused about this pankti...so plz come back on track n tell me singho n singhnio is it from SGGS or not?

wow...i am surprised at all of us....we can judge some1 so easily...I am against taking matha to any1 other than Guru Granth Sahib ji...and calling some1 Sant is not my thing either...I would say Bhai Ranjit Singh Dhadrian Wale is a gud parcharaak and i have no doubt abt it as i had said earlier...I know of a guy who is a member of RSS(the hindu activist group thing)...He is known to me through a work mate(dnt any1 even think i am friends with him lol....i am always looking a reason to discuss stuff with him but that he is too scared to even come to our place....lol)..anyways getting back to the thing...he sometimes tells my friend RSS stuff..like he told how they have got girls in RSS that r paid 10000 RS. per sikh guy they get to cut hair..u know like munde nu fassa ke n make their cut their hair...anyways thats a different thing...2-3 months back Bhai Ranjit Singh came back to New Zealand...n this RSS guy met my friend n he goes "yaar eh jera tuhada nawa baba hai he is becoming famous"...he even said that ppl frm RSS believe think he is Sant Jarnail Singh ji reborn in ways of making ppl take amrit....lol...I personally won't match them in any way though...but thats wat RSS thinks...hahaha...but yeah i guess as i had said earlier he is doing a gud job irrespective of wat the most canadians say including the newspapers.. When he was in New Zealand he even said in a deewan that Guru ji himself said that we r not supposed to bow to any1...he said if a gursikhs head bows it should only bow to Guru Granth Sahib and if it bows to any1 n every1 including me then he or she is not a Sikh....these were his exact words..but still most ppl wudnt stop from taking matha...it is our ppl's mentality to bow n it is hard to stop them...lol..I wud say i am impressed by his parchaar and wud say he is one of the best parcharaks NOT SANT though..

There have been talks that Bhai Ranjit Singh is acting as a Sant and various other allegations....I personally believe if he is doing so dats for his own bad...ppl call him Sant and if he dsnt say no to them than thats a negative point...but the important thing is "is he educating our youth towards sikhism'?of course he is....u go to Punjab and see so many young guys listening to him and coming back on the right path...2 of my very own friends who had got their hair cut n started drinking hard out have returned back to naam baani and took amrit after listening to him...The problem with us ppl is we look at ones negative points too much...i know every1 has negative side but y dnt u all admit that he is making ppl take amrit which neither u or me cud do easily....one have to has some kind of Guru's kirpa to force ppl on the right path..but anyways these r my views...every1 thinks differently....isn't it??

Oh I forgot something funny to share with u....there was this gora kid on plane....sittin in the seat ahead of me.....the moment the plane started he started looking at me n smilling.....he did this for about 1 hour....I also kept smilling in return.....n then when we arrived at Australia.....n every1 was waiting to go off the plane....he was standing in front of me with his mom....all the plane was quiet n he asked me loudly"DO YOU HAVE EARS BELOW THIS THING"(pointing at my turban)...... @ @ @ :lol: :wub: I was so embarassed......I said a very low YES....n then he went loud again...."I didn't hear wat u said"...."Do u have ears below this thing.....I said I do loudly... .her mom was trying to calm him down but he won't listen to her..... then he again asked me loudly "HOW DO YOU HEAR".....oh man.....I was totally freaked out......lol......I put my both hands onto his both ears n said "Hello do u hear me now?"he said "yes"......n I said "So do i"....n then he didn't ask me another question.....but it was a very difficult situation when every1 is looking at the kid talking n then at me....lol.....after getting off the plane her mom kept apologising to me.....but I said all's fine.....he is just a kid....isn't it funny at what u questions u get asked....lol bhul chuk maaf Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! I just went to Australia from New Zealand.....at Palmerston North(New Zealand) airport their scanner picked up my bajs(salais) in my hand bag....n they said I can't take that along with me to plane and it has to be sent with the rest of the luggage in the luggage compartment n not with me....I agreed to that....then the lady asked me what do u use these for?I said I use them to tie my turban.....she said do u make ur turban stand on these???how many of these do u have in ur turban.... :lol: :wub: ....I said none....she insisted me on opening my turban n letting her check....lol.....I requested her that it wud take me some time to tie it down again n the flight leaves soon so please let me go.....she agreed to my request.....then she wrote down a register as to y my hand bag was not sent abroad with me....She asked me how do u spell baj..... -emo& --> ....it was a funny experience......no probs in Aussie....but again when I came back they made me sit at the immigration for a good half hour without any reasons....but I never mind that......I feel pride in being the only one standing out of crowd.....isn't it cool.....people look at you wherever u go....u r the center of attraction .... bhul chuk maaf Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa!
