  1. WJKK WJKFateh! Forget what people are doing pyareo!! We recit everyday: "Asankh moorakh andh khor, asankh chor haraam khor" "Asankh amar, kar jahe jor, asankh gal vudh hattya kamaye" "Asankh paapi paap kar jaye" There are countless sinners, thugs, killers, fools.. Just don't follow them, they will lure you in and make a fool out of you, concentrate on Gurbani, and follow the word of your Guru. Also remember the words of our father, never give up to anyone, stand up for paap happening in front of you. Concentrate on yourself O' man! Daas di, Bhul chuk maaf! WJKK WJKFateh!

Well for me, my nankay are from Jalandar, Hoshiarpur, most of my family is still there, and my dad's pind is bodla (garna sahib), no-one lives there any more cuz all my dad's family is here or UK. But I always liked my nankay(never knew much about my dad's pind). I always love going back!!!!! :D ) When you feel the thandi hava, so refreshing, just makes you want to settle down there, and live your whole life just doing kheti, and bhagti. Wahegurooooooo! THANKS SO MUCH man, for reminding me, I felt so goood. I hope the sangat remembers their pind, culture, heritage, alongside with Sikhi!!! Bhul chuk maaf karnee! Daas, Daljeet Singh
  3. HOME INVASION LINKED TO FUROR OVER REMARKS RAJU MUDHAR STAFF REPORTER Like the shattered glass that surrounds the house, details of a home invasion in Caledon are available only in pieces. Police responded in force when a large group of people forced their way into a residence, causing damage to the property, hidden by trees off Highway 9 near Highway 50, about 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Yesterday, a crew was boarding up the first-floor windows, all of which had been smashed. So had the rear window of a minivan. Patio planks had been ripped up and thrown into the house. A smashed chandelier dangled by a wire. Three Punjabi-speaking men waiting in the garage for the insurance company crew to finish confirmed the house was the home of Narinder Singh Grewal. Grewal has been under scrutiny by Toronto's Punjabi-language media because of allegations that he made disparaging remarks about the 10 Gurus and the Guru Granth Sahib, the prophets and the holy book, respectively, of the Sikh religion. Interest was running high in the community after editorials in several papers and a videotape transcription in Sanjh Savera, a Punjabi weekly. A packed meeting was held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Ontario Khalsa Darbar, on Dixie Rd. in Mississauga. It was resolved that Sikh lawyers would volunteer their services to go after Grewal "with whatever charges we can lay against him for spreading hate and anger," said Gurdish Singh Mangat, a meeting organizer. But in response to comments Grewal made on radio earlier Saturday — to the effect that he did not need and was above the Sikh holy book, considered by Sikhs to be a "living Guru" — som e religious elders decided to go to Grewal's home and take back his copy of the scriptures. It's not clear if Grewal was home, but the book was found. Mangat said that when he arrived, people were already leaving with the scriptures. Police reported that one man was treated for minor injuries. Though some people were taken away by police, it was unclear whether any charges were laid. Efforts to reach Grewal were unsuccessful.

  5. Great inspiration! Thanks bro!
  6. WJKK WJKFateh! Veer You have to understand the essence of why we respect bani. And why our Gurus said we SHOULD respect gurbani. Say you have a book right, and it has gurbani on it, you can't put it near your feet, you have to put it someplace high, because it deserves respect, gurbani on any piece of paper, is bani and needs to be respected. Lets see at the first place why you want to "dispose" of these papers with Gurbani on em, you reason is that you don't have room for it? C'mon man, its your Guru's words...Now you say that it should be in your heart and paper doesn't count. Ok, for all the papers you have that have gurbani on them, if you know the shabads by heart, know their meanings, and apply them to your life everyday (or when needed). Then by all means, respectfully "dispose" of those papers. If you don't know it, and cant apply to your life, then those papers should be a reminder to you, everyday of what to do, and what your guru says. Sorry for the long response, and any bhul chuk. WJKK WJKFateh!
  7. lol, then what about Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji? Its all paper too right, and you don't just dispose of Gurbani like that, I understand the universal idea behind all of it. But something that we see, and feel, we should respect, not treat it like some writing on a piece of paper. THAT'S BAY-ADBI (disrespect)!!
  8. I agree with N3O Singh, who cares what the last name of the author is, this is the problem with punjabi people they don't look at the big picture, but try to point problems in everything they see (no offence). Look at the message not the messenger, he might not yet be a Khalsa, but may still be on the right path, so look at yourself before judging others.
  9. WJKK WJKFateh! Yea I agree with Daly...DON'T BURN GURBANI!! When they agni-bhet Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji after a time period of 100 years, they have a different way of doing it, but this is a controversial issue, whether to agni-bhet gurbani or not. It all depends on how much love you have for gurbani and you Guru. I personally would never burn gurbani, even if I don't have space I'll throw away something I paid for and put bani there instead. AND I WOULD CONDEMN ANYONE TO DO IT AS WELL. Gurbani is eternal, its God's word, which is priceless, and should be kept in a high place, so unless you know the way to "dispose" of Gurbani, I highly recommend you not do anything. And get all the gurbani on watever paper you have on and put all the papers in a binder and store em someplace. Bhul chuk maaf karnee WJKK WJKFateh!
  10. WJKK WJKFateh! Singh, Well at the meeting they showed the movie where Grewal is saying all this crap about SGGS, and our Gurus. So I guess after seeing it some people got enraged and went to the guy's house, from what I heard, he got his a$$ kicked, and some bibi got in the way saying really bad stuff, they weren't going for any bibiz, but they were talking smack, so they knocked the lady out too, lol. But the guy got what he deservedand trust me its only the beginning! :D that's all I heard from people. Bhul chuk maaf WJKK WJKFateh!
  11. Singh I suggest you not dispose of the papers, get a big binder put all the papers with Gurbani on them in the binder and store the binder someplace high.
  12. NO SINGH! NO BHANG (WEED, marijuana) is allowed in Sikhi!!! Dasam Granth is not the bani of all our 10 Gurus. It was mainly written by Guru Gobind Singh ji, and there were bits added by people along the way that changed the message completely. My opinion, take whatever that coincides with Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji, and that makes sense, and follow that. Nihungz are different, they aren't proper Sikhs, they don't live in the rehat that our Guru's described to us. Drugs mess with your mind, and our Gurus told us to purify our minds to become one with Waheguru, not screw it up with weird drugs. I will get you quotes from Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji once the sikhitothemax site is up and running!! :D WJKK WJKFateh!
  13. Waheguru...Dhan teri Sikhi... May waheguru have mercy on his slaves in the future to come..waheguru!!!!!
  14. LOLLL, I fell for it again too I got two this time! :D :D
  15. WJKK WJKFateh! Veerji, I agree with you 100%! Baba Nand Singh ji was a mahapurkh, who was very close to waheguru. There's a Nanaksar Gurdwara within walking distance from my house, and I try to go with gur kirpa, and the peace that you get from Nanaksar gurdwara, you'll rarely find at any other gurdwara. Sure, their rehat is a little different, but their pyar, and satkar of Guruji is awesome!!!! They beleive in doing bani/simran a different way, so what??? We all have our own ways of doing bani, Bani is bani. No matter how you recite it, as long as you have pyaar for Guruji in your heart, you don't need to be parth of a jatha. Being part of a jatha just brings houmay, people from taksaal may not like people from AKJ. Why's that? But anywayz, you've pointed out all the main points in your post, so I won't regurgitate. Bhul chuk maaf karnee! WJKK WJKFateh!
