- Innovate way to have dastar which have same resistive elements(sarbloh with cushion) as helmet (if such thing could be created), that could really benefit us. i've allready created the product for this... it is all gupt for now , it needs copyrighting and patenting ... i personally wouldn't wear on myself.

how do you make one then? like does it have to have be switched/sewn a certain way to make it a chanduaa or just has to look like one lol? sounds silly but someone told me kashere have to be hand sitched and in a certain way for them to be a kashera.

wjkkwjkf i've herd there are chhands for horse riding , for the tulwar , for different pentre and different shastar... i heard in sukha singhs katha which he did years ago talking about sant baba nihal singh telling him about the various chands and how they are used in yudh. the same i saw on sikh channel were one of the singhs frm Akali Phoola Singh Gatka Akhara was explaining one of the chands for the Tulwar. does anybody know which chand goes with what? or have any katha on this . thanks wjkkwjkf

WjkkWjkf , das has been asked to do seva at the Leeds Met Sikh Society - last year there were only 5 events which 3 were social ... e.g ice skating and meet and greet. the 3 talks we had were on kalyug, hola maholla and a general discussion typed event. At all the events only 5 regular members came... expect for the social events which was 20+ people! Does the sangat have any ideas to kick start things off? Esp at the freshers fairs where people sign up. 70 peopled joined last year only 2 came out of the 70 to the events... We need to push the parchar... any ideas would be helpful thanks! wjkkwjkf

wjkkwjkf does anybody know how to make the "original thoof" or where to get it in uk? nihang singhs use it , its normally looks like sand/mitti/powedery almost , it produces a lot more smoke than normal thoof. i think the name for it is "samgarhi thoof" not sure... any details for the original thoof would be much appreciated.

wjkkwjkf 6 dals and 1stjathedar/whose memory they were created in Baba Bidhi Chand Dal ( Baba Bidhi Chand Shina Guru Ka Sheena's army ) Tarna Dal Baba Bakala ( Akali Baba Deep Singh Jee's Army ) Tarna Dal Guru Nanak Dal ( Name of the first jathedar escapes me... but present jathedar is Akali Baba Maan Singh jee ) Khyale Wale dal ( Baba Trilok Singh Ji's army ) Tarna Dal Harienwela Dal ( Akali Baba Deep Singh Jee's Army aswell i think) Shiromani Panth Akali Budha Dal ( Baba Budha Jee ) apprently there's a bhindra dal i've heard of not sure... difference slightly in rehat.. theres six dals in total, so when the time for jang comes each jathedar can make formations of each dal in different ways and the jathedars can then work together to have a big strategy on the battlefield.
