Why the hell would any one want to be part of any Jatha being AKJ, Taksal. We should try to be a Khalsa. No Jatha SIMPLE. To take Amrit one goes to the Punj, a Jatha is not allowed to give Amrit only the Punj can give Amrit. We should not promote one Jatha, this is how we are bring the caste system back into sikhi. The kirtan should go on. On the day of the event the sangat should question the Gurdwara committee. Put them in the spot. If you leave these people they will carry on doing what they like. Just how most westen Sikhs have forgotten about our Brothers and Sisters in Punjab.

Nihangs are the real Sikhs. Not the UK ones, but Nihangs like Baba Nihal Singh Jee, Shaheed Avtar Singh Brahma, Shaheed Surinder Singh Sodhi. Not to forget the countless Nihang Singhs that become Shaheed during the years. Lots of Nihangs did help in the movment. The UK Nangs will make you think that Nihangs did not support the movment. To Admin, One thing to note this is not a Gurdwara, the Committee told us this is a Punjabi Centre. Waheguru, At the end of the Day if some one wants to be Musilm good luck to them. If the person is a true Sikh, then he/she will died for sikhi. The best way to sort this problem out is to teach the youth about Sikhi.
