Charan amrit was not started by guroo nanak sahib nirankar but it was there for long time.. the fact baba farid, bhagat kabir, bhagat ravidas and ramanand existed before guroo nanak sahib nirankar and all got charan amrit from their murshad/guroo. And once attained vaheguroo they did give same charan amrit to their students. Though we consider baba farid, bhagat kabir, bhagat ravidas, ramanand etc sikhs dont we???? N30 you are absolutely 'incorrect' in your attempts to rectify the Sikh who gave the explanation on Charan Amrit.

Veer jee, ISingh... i wanted to ask, will any photo's be put up at akj.org.uk of the International Smagam held just recently at Leeds in November? There were some Singhs taking Photo's and i just wondered if any of them had any connection to you. I know, i have heard some of her Gurbanee sung at Sikh.net.... Im a bit weary about how Gurbanee is sometimes heard on tunes a bit on the outside of the keertan styles we hear at the Gurudwara Sahib and i don't really like the fact that it sounds like a song rather than Gurubanee. BUT if her type of music appeals to people, thats very good despite my doubts. My main concern is that i hope she does not get carried away with the music she uses...otherwise it will cause dramatic Baistee to the GurSikhs who are trying to portray the correct lifestyle of Sikhi. Other than that, its a great sight to see a Singhnee doing Parchaar!!!

The moment you think that you are starting to focus your attention onto wrong thoughts or starting to check someone out, just like veer jee said, you should recite mool mantar or do naam simran and look away. Repeat Naam with every breath as much as possible when remembered. You will automatically start to realise that you instead shy away from wrong actions instead of appealing to them the way you used to. Listen to your favourite style keertan as much as possible..at home or when going out...the less you listen to manmukh music, the more you will be able to gain control over lust via Guru jee's kirpaa. Since we seek Guru jee's kirpaa, we have to do as Guru jee asks of us... So live your life in Gurmat style as much as possible from what you understand...and Guru jee will guide you for sure. ps. it is excellent to hear of your efforts at Amrit Velaa and listening to Gurbanee. There are many sites on the net... But only few doing True Sikhi Parchaar...for example like Tapoban, Sikhitothemax, Sikh Pride, akj.org, Saint Soldiers, etc. Too many are false, esp like the Nang Sites and any websites associated with Sandeep Brar, aswell as some webmasters who are yet learning about Sikhi... I plead to (those) webmasters to remove non-Sikhi material from their Sikh sites. It is baistee to see for example, Bhangra and things about Lust etc on sites, when they should mainly be preaching Sikhi via Tat Gurmat.
