Yes it does benefit ur sister if u pray for her.. let me put it this way: You work hard all day and at night you come home and make ur self 2 roti's u sit down to eat and sumone knocks on ur door and asks for something to eat, u being a sikh offer him food so you give him 1 of ur roti's. Now you only have 1 left to eat.. so yes when u do paat for ur sister u reep the benefits but half that goes to ur sister =]. Its jus like banni says that blessed are those parents who gave bith to saints and blessed is his/her whole family ..so when u do paat, every1 around u benefits

who says monai aint sikhs.. there r 2 diff meanings u can get for sikhs. 1 is were one is born into sikhism, his religion is sikhism so he is a sikh(a studen who wants to learn about sikhi) but then the second would be were u are a sikh of the guru (i mean u have taken amrit) monai r sikhs because that is there religion but there not singhs who have taken amrit and if u dont consider the first type of sikhs real sikhs then wht are they? u cant just say they dont have a religion. what would you call them then?

K we all know the story of baba Deep Singh and what he did for Sikhs but what i want the sangats thoughts on is the part of the story where we are told tht Baba Deep Singh got his head cut off, picked it up in his left hand and kept fighting. I want to know did his head really fall off or did he jus get a hard blow to it and just supported it with his hand and kept fighting
