  1. Hello, its a very difficult and private issue I would really need to know what is fully happening before giving you proper advice, because one bad move could make more problems all I would say is go to Gurdwara to full ardas (open you heart infront of guru granth sahib) let it all out infront of Guru Granth Sahib even if you are not Sikh go to Gurdwara people of other faiths have had there prayers heard. Just get some peace from gurdwara, if you are scared to go in diwan go when theres no diwan, there may be school councilors who could help out or even other child line services which your school careers citzenship advisors can give. Otherwise call up S.A.S sikh awareness society http://www.sasorg.co.uk/contact.html General Enquiries: 07780 601 351 Serious Enquiries Only: 07780 601 351 If you are a victim of hate-crime, or are facing problems highlighted by the SAS and require assistance. sas.helpline@googlemail.com Further information, Sewa opportunities, Event bookings etc: sas.helpline@googlemail.com I would advise call from outside for the moment, it sounds like your dad might be under the spell of this other person, and I would say you need to stay calm and collective. Think everything out, whatever happens is in the hands of God. The Uk has a high divorce rate about 50% of marriages break up so you are not alone its a common problem and you have expressed bravery to come out with your problem. You really need to talk to a REAL friend who could advise you properly and not make the problem worse. I know people in my family who went through the same thing, but in the end got good things out of it they were allowed to do bigger things in life and God opened more doors. Legally the borough could interfere, if your father has inflicted physical harm on you or your mother then he can go to jail, legally you and your mother would be favoured, your mother would get single parent benefits and you would get more benefits offcourse many asian families have abused it so alot of checking would be done to verify it all. You would attain housing benefit, so if its really in the case of getting chucked out dont take the basement you could get a house, get some advice from the local council, properly there are alot of forms. Alot of cases like these sometimes end up to extreme cases with murder so its always good to let some one else know of your situation dont think of it as dishonour, you have to let some one know family member or someone you can trust, school or extreme case the Police. If i was you I would talk to other family from your dads side and mums side to come and help, grandparents dads brothers or sisters anyone, family is there to help solve these problems, if need be lastly talk to your dads lover, let her know what she doing, she may not care, but its a complex situation, and you really need some advice dont bottle yourself in. I hope everything works out for you. But please talk to some profesionals. Here are some helplines Divorce Careline 020 8514 1177 Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm and 7pm to 10pm. 8. Something perhaps intresting, Hinduism tells when Kaljug first came he was granted access by a king to certain places, one of the places Kaljug resides is in Gold (another was gandh houses (brothels, pubs, clubs, gambling places, strip clubs etc) ). The Gold on Harmindar Sahib has a very important property it reflects heat and light away and due to its placing in the sarowar, it is very cool, until Neshkam Sevak Jatha replaced the Gold, they did not place much gaps between the Gold platting and brick, underneath aswell as the quality of the Gold, not being the same, the whole Harminder heated up, so Darbar Sahib got so hot, the Gianis couldnt sit there, they had to install Air conditioning to counter act it. Its hard for Sikhs not to have kept Gold, Gold was a universal currency, besides money, with empire change the exchange of Gold has been around, even giving it in weddings, If we are going to say Nihangs and the rest of the panth of Sikhs had separate Maryada it could explain why, but wearing Gold, having makeup do increase pride/ego. There was Idolism within the Golden Temple complex by the Massands, some descendent of trusted gatekeeper people, basically there was some violation of trust, and loads of accusations have been made, but later on Singh Sabha was formed and the panth re-established Darbar Sahib aswell as other control over Gurdwara Sahibs.
  9. In chemistry, an alcohol is any organic compound in which a hydroxyl group (-OH) is bound to a carbon atom of an alkyl or substituted alkyl group. The general formula for a simple acyclic alcohol is CnH2n+1OH. In common terms, the word alcohol refers to ethanol, the type of alcohol found in alcoholic beverages. Ethanol is a colorless, volatile liquid with a mild odor which can be obtained by the fermentation of sugars. (Industrially, it is more commonly obtained by ethylene hydration—the reaction of ethylene with water in the presence of phosphoric acid.[1]) Ethanol is the most widely used depressant in the world, and has been for thousands of years. This sense underlies the term alcoholism (addiction to alcohol). Other alcohols are usually described with a clarifying adjective, as in isopropyl alcohol (propan-2-ol) or wood alcohol (methyl alcohol, or methanol). The suffix -ol appears in the "official" IUPAC chemical name of all alcohols. There are three major subsets of alcohols: primary (1°), secondary (2°) and tertiary (3°), based upon the number of carbon atoms the C-OH group's carbon (shown in red) is bonded to. Ethanol is a simple 'primary' alcohol. The simplest secondary alcohol is isopropyl alcohol (propan-2-ol), and a simple tertiary alcohol is tert-butyl alcohol (2-methylpropan-2-ol). Simple alcohols The simplest and most commonly used alcohols are methanol and ethanol. Methanol was formerly obtained by the distillation of wood and called "wood alcohol." Methanol is intoxicating but not directly poisonous. It is toxic by its breakdown (toxication) by the enzyme alcohol dehydrogenase in the liver by forming formic acid and formaldehyde which cause permanent blindness by destruction of the optic nerve.[2] Apart from its familiar role in alcoholic beverages, ethanol is also used as a highly controlled industrial solvent and raw material. To avoid the high taxes on ethanol for consumption, additives are added to make it unpalatable (such as denatonium benzoate—"Bitrex") or poisonous (such as methanol). Ethanol in this form is known generally as denatured alcohol; when methanol is used, it may be referred to as methylated spirits ("Meths") or "surgical spirits". Two other alcohols whose uses are relatively widespread (though not so much as those of methanol and ethanol) are propanol and butanol. Like ethanol, they can be produced by fermentation processes. (However, the fermenting agent is a bacterium, Clostridium acetobutylicum, that feeds on cellulose, not sugars like the Saccharomyces yeast that produces ethanol.) An alcoholic beverage is a drink that contains ethanol (commonly called alcohol). Alcoholic beverages are divided into three general classes: beers, wines, and spirits. Alcoholic beverages are consumed in almost every nation and at the same time the majority of them have laws in which they regulate the production, sale, and consumption of alcoholic beverages. In particular, laws specify the minimum age at which a person may legally buy them or drink them. This minimum age ranges from 15 years in Denmark, to 16 years for buying beer and wine in Germany, the Netherlands, France, Austria, Belgium, Greece, Italy, and Switzerland. Most countries set their minimum age to 18.[citation needed] In Germany, 14-year-old persons may drink low-alcohol beverages if their parents are present. Alcoholic beverages are a part of most European cultures, and children in these cultures may occasionally drink alcohol during meals with their family. The production and consumption of alcohol occurs in most cultures of the world, from hunter-gatherer peoples to nation-states. Alcoholic beverages may be an important part of social events in these cultures. In many cultures, drinking plays a significant role in social interaction—mainly because of alcohol’s neurological effects. Alcohol is a psychoactive drug that has a depressant effect. A high blood alcohol content is usually considered to be legal drunkenness because it reduces attention and slows reaction speed. Alcoholic beverages can be addictive, and the state of addiction to alcohol is known as alcoholism. .... Some religions—most notably Islam, Sikhism, Jainism, the Bahá'í Faith, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Seventh-day Adventist Church, the First Church of Christ, Scientist, the Theravada and most Mahayana schools of Buddhism, some Protestant sects of Fundamentalist Christianity and Hinduism—forbid, discourage, or restrict the consumption of alcoholic beverages for various reasons. In Islam, alcoholic beverages or any intoxicants are forbidden by the Qur'an through several separate verses that were revealed at different times over a period of years. At first, it was forbidden for Muslims to attend to prayers while intoxicated (4:43). Then a later verse was revealed which said, "They ask you about intoxicants and games of chance. Say: In both of them there is a great sin and means of profit for men, and their sin is greater than their profit." [Qur'an 2:219]). This was the next step in turning people away from consumption of it. Finally, "intoxicants and games of chance" were called "abominations of Satan's handiwork", intended to turn people away from God and forget about prayer, and Muslims were ordered to abstain (5:90-91). Most Muslims avoid consuming alcohol in any type of form, even in slight amounts, such as used in cooking. Only the use of alcohol for medical, scientific, industrial and automotive purposes is allowed. But, the Islamic view on heaven includes promises of "rivers of the finest wine" that are free from alcohol so believers will not suffer intoxication therefrom([Qur'an 37:47]). Many Christian denominations use wine in the Eucharist or Communion and permit the use of alcohol in moderation, while others use unfermented grape juice in Communion and abstain from alcohol by choice or prohibit it outright. The Jewish religion uses wine on Shabbat for Kiddush as well as in the Passover ceremony and in other religious ceremonies, including Purim, and allows the use of alcohol, such as kosher wine. Many ancient Jewish texts such as the Talmud even encourage moderate amounts of drinking on holidays such as Purim, in order to make the occasion more joyous. Buddhist texts recommend refraining from drugs and alcohol, because they may inhibit mindfulness. Some pagan religions, however, had a completely opposite view of alcohol and drunkenness; they actively promoted them as means of fostering fertility. Alcohol was thought to increase sexual desire and to lower the threshold of approaching another person for sex. For example, Norse paganism considered alcohol to be the sap of Yggdrasil, and drunkenness was an important fertility rite in this religion. Paradoxically, one of the effects of alcohol intoxication is the reduction of sexual arousal. From our Good friend Wikipedia, - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcoholic_beverage theres a difference between alcohol the chemical and the beverage containing varried amount of it. Surgeons use alcohol and is very common to encounter these days in all sorts of products. Maharaj does teach to live simple lives, and eat drink simple things so allow the chemicals, if you got doubts dont eat or drink you dont need to tell people its against my religion just allow it, there finner things in life, fruits and vegetables.

  11. Sai Mian Mir Sahib Ji And Sikh Guru Sahibaan This was the era when Sahib Sri Guru Raam Daas Ji was been seated on the Guru throne. His personal residence was at "Choona Mandi" the interior Lahore, even though he has migrated to "Goondwaal Sahib" in Amritsar. Throughout his life, Guru Ji used to congress three days at his Lahore residence; where literal and linguistic personnel, from all walks of life, religions and ethics, were used to participate in various thematic dialogues. Mian Mir also played role in these congressions. Here, meeting with other spiritualist and clerics also organized. Guru Ji sent his Son Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj to Lahore for some reason. He also took part in conventions. These conventions and congregations set root cause for the ever sturdy acquaintance of Hazrat Mian Mir and Sahib Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj, which spanned over their lives. Often, Sahib Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji used to inhabit at Mian Mir's residence. Hazrat Mian Mir had intimate rapport with Guru Family. The friendship with Guru Family was benevolence based, well-built, and discrimination free. Sahib Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji adored substantially to Mian Mir Sahib. Although extravagant constructions readily existed by then, but none of them was ranked nucleus. For the purpose to form a hub Sahib Sri Guru Ram Daas Ji Maharaj choose Amritsar the center of Punjab and purchased ample of land to build a town named Raam Daas Pur. He built numerous civic centers in his surveillance. Right in the center of the town projected and announced to construct magnificent place of worship. Proposed to name this place of worship "Hari Mandar" and started building its surrounding structures. Yet working was on with the celestial pool as political situations worsened. Emperor Jalal Ud Din, Akbar, efforts of religious pell-mell abolished the project. In this era, emperor was endeavoring to craft a new religion "Deen e Elahi", to eradicate fundamental differences and religious identification. An intellect evil minded courtier Abul Fazal was not merely the architect of this religion but also was the disseminator and supervisor for its implementation. He also advised Akbar to issue an ordinance to ban constructing mosques, Mandars, etc instead started sketching Akbar Khanas (worship places in Deen e Elahi), and Langar Khanas. For this reason as one entered the court, Akbar ordered to touch ground with forehead in adoration in front of him. Muslim mystics and Muslim & Hindu Military chiefs dissented this new born, and the implementation seem hard to be projected that Jahangir betrayal destroyed his entire venture. Hazrat Mian Mir Sahib Ji was the Closest friend of great Sahib Sri Guru Ramdas Ji Maharaj and Sahib Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj, and Sahib Sri Guru Hargobind Ji Maharaj, also was "Mystic" of Her holiness Mata Kola Sahib Ji. Sai Hazrat Mian Mir Sahib Ji was meant a lot and highly regarded by Sahib Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj, because when Guru Ji decided to build Sri Harmander Sahib, The honor was rewarded to his holiness Sai Hazrat Mian Mir Sahib Ji to lay down the foundation stone of Sri Harmander Sahib. By the time the foundation stone was being laid down a great event had come about. The mason slightly misplaced the stone that Sai Hazrat Mian Mir Sahib Ji positioned earlier. His holiness Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj rushed to the mason and said loudly, "why did you do that. Now, Harmander Sahib will remain quaking ever after on its bases." The history tells us from Ahmed Shah Abdali up till 1984, the sayings of Sahib Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj have proven truly. Guru Ji's anticipation of the pleasure on the occasion can be judged well with the fact that he presented his inherited and sacred "SIMARNA Sahib" to Sai Mian Mir Sahib Ji. Afterwards while addressing to the "SANGAT" Guru Ji emphasized every one to offer "NAZRANA" to Sai Ji. Her Holiness Mata Ganga Ji was also among audience on the occasion. She presented her extremely valuable "MALA Sahib" to Sai Ji. Baba Buddha Ji presented his "Sacred KHOONDA" in this proceeding. Other noble Singh and Singhnian also gave "NAZRANA" to Sai Ji whatever they were capable of. By the time, when Chief Minister of Punjab Dewan Chandoo detained Guru Arjan Dev Ji in Lal Haveli, one day he called on all his cabinet and bureaucracy, and invited numerous people to observe an event in order to intimidate them from a terrifying happening. People sighted him and all proceeding with curiousness to affirm what is set to be occurred. Chandoo asked his corps to set fire, place hot plate onto it and bring forward the criminal. When plate turned hot reddish they brought Guru Ji ahead. He ordered them to mount him up on the hot plate and assault his head with extremely warm sand. By that time Hazrat Mian Mir Sahib Ji was seated in his Sangat a person hurried in and reported the entire scenario covering the atrocious behavior being conducted in the lawn of Lal Haveli. Sai Ji did not miss a second and rushed on to the Lal Haveli with entire Sangat. Directly after he arrived, Sai Ji sternly asked Chandoo for all the proceeding and said "O! Dreadful Chandoo, I would never forfeit you for all this. Remember my words your descendants would never last in upcoming times. Then he focused towards Guru Ji and said "O my friend! I cannot see you in this condition, signify me and I will crush Lahore and Delhi. Chandoo misplaced Guru Ji from that place very next day he announced the death of great Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj, with a fake story that last night Guru Ji called on guards that I am feeling anxiety so I want to take bath. They took him over to the shore of river Ravi, later on Guru Ji dipped into the water and never arose again. When Sai Mian Mir Sahib Ji heard that story, became out raged and extremely shocked. Replied shouting, "no! I can't believe it, because barely two individuals in Hindustan can spend night long time in one breath, me and Arjan" The one who loses his breath can only sink. Factually, dreadful Chandoo had killed him and hidden the corpse to cover the assassination". Further more, Sahib Sri Guru Hargobind Ji Maharaj became sixth Guru after taking over the Guru order and same day he visited Sai Hazrat Mian Mir Sahib Ji at Lahore because he knew that Sai Ji's relationship with the Guru family are highly significant. When Sahib Sri Guru Hargobind Ji Maharaj arrived to meet Sai Ji, he was sitting in his Sangat. Sai Ji marched forward to welcome Guru Ji. Guru Ji intended to descend down from the horse but Sai Ji stopped him to do so. Guru Ji surprised. Sai Ji extended forward his hands to descend Guru Hargobind Ji Maharaj this way he imparted the lesson to the world that "only a true saint can perfectly honor the other saint." Guru Ji stayed three nights at Sai Ji's residence. After few days, Sai Ji arrived Delhi on Jahangir's invitation. He sat down on the lawn of Lal Qilaa, asked servants to inform Jahangir that Mian Mir Sahib Ji came from Lahore and looking forward for the emperor in the lawn. When the emperor came to know ran out without shoes and stood toll in salutation in front of Sai Ji. Mian Mir Sahib Ji firmly asked that why would have the assassination of Guru Arjan Dev occurred in your regime. Jahangir affirmed his stance that he had never been indulged in the decision making process, had no knowledge whatsoever and sworn to insure complete justice in the prosecution. Mian Mir Sahib Ji Sahib informed Jahangir with comprehensive reality. After hearing the strong arguments from Sai Mian Mir Sahib Ji Jahangir sentenced death penalty to Chandoo. Sai Mian Mir Sahib Ji asked Jahangir "hand terrible Chandoo! over to me, I want descendants of Guru Ji to cease him on there own disposal". Jahangir drafted imperial ordinance accordingly. Under this ordinance Sikhs held Chandoo nosily and stretched him throughout the city with the rope in his neck, this way Chandoo reached to his doom. The ways Chandoo was used to pass with subdued pride, riding on the elephants, killed with ample of harassment and humiliation, his corpse offered to dogs into pieces and to take complete avenge. Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji like Guru Arjan Dev Sahib Ji also felt affectionate to Sai Hazrat Mian Mir Sahib Ji and used to meet up frequently. Once when Sahib Sri Guru Hargobind Ji Maharaj was imprisoned (about 2 months 10 days) at Qilaa E Gawaliyar, the jailor was an atrocious person. He tried to offer Guru Ji a poisonous meal, every time Guru Ji refused to consume pre-assessing with supernatural powers. There was a "Bawli" (a small well) where Guru Ji was used to go over, to drink water and back to his jail cell to make regular meditation practice to remain in touch with almighty "AKAAL PORKH" (((as all Satgur Padshah and Sai Mian Mir Sahib Ji as well, were supposed mandatory to practice meditation))). Human body has its own liabilities and requirements, for instance, food is the significant factor to sustain life and survive but Guru Ji had fasted for nearly 2 months and 10 days and became tremendously weak and sick. When Sai Mian Mir Sahib Ji got to know Guru Ji's intricacies at Qilaa E Gawaliyar, he arrived at to Qilaa in order to set him free. After taking him along, galloped ahead to Lahore at his residence, where Guru Ji stayed 22 days long. Both saints spent a night at "Amritsar", where Sikh Sangat has established a huge ceremony to celebrate the delight of liberation. The entire city was glowing with the light works. Qazi Hashim khan (justice) was one of the disciples and neighbor of Sai Ji had a young daughter "KOLA". She already had been assigned voluntarily to prepare meal for Sai Ji and appointed especially to serve Guru Ji at the residence of Sai Mian Mir Sahib Ji. Sai Ji had chosen her specifically to look after Guru Ji as well. She served Guru Ji for 22 days and nights. Ultimately Guru Ji left Lahore, by that time she was not on the spot. As she knew he departed, screamed and unconsciously fallen down. Sai Ji was reported in a Sangat, immediately he came back home, brought her consciousness back and in a spur of the moment understood that she had been profoundly fallen in love with Guru Sahib Ji. The condition lasted 2-3 days. Every time she called Guru Ji and went unconscious. Sai Ji asked his followers to take her to Guru Ji along with a letter from Sai Ji. Sai Ji's followers carried her in a "PALKI" to Guru Ji Sahib and when Guru Ji was in "KIRATPUR Sahib". He asked them for what they are here. They presented the letter to Guru Ji. While reading he smiled a bit, galloped to the "PALKI", and addressed: "BIBI what can I do for you". She replied boldly: "I seek a son from you". Guru Ji bowed down, touched her knees and said: "I am your SON you are my MATA Ji" can you discover another one like me". Few days latter, she told Guru Ji I have some ornaments that I intend to present you in order to spend for a good cause. Guru Ji build a "SROBER" named "COLSER Sahib" utilizing her ornaments. Guru Ji gave her "VACHAN" who ever would have to Ashnaan "Harmander Sahib" must make "Ashnaan" at "COLSER" priorly otherwise Ashnaan would remain incomplete. Sacred items Makhdom Syed Chan Pir Qadri Gillani the Nineteenth custodian and Gaddi Nasheen of Sai Mian Mir Sahib Ji Lahore inherited following sacred elements from forefathers, bestowed by greatest Muslim and Sikh saints, which are often exhibited in "Sangataan" at Pakistan and abroad on special invitations. 18. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ke FateH Ji Satsangat ji, das would like to outline this bedbi that has been taken place for many years under the banner of the Sikh society of LSE london school of economics, they generally run a Bhangra night on fridays aswell as promote other bhangra events, only to see utter besti of Sikh youths, Sikhni (sikh women) sexually engadging with sikh and non sikh males, grinding, getting off with, pulling etc, under the banner of Sikh Soc, also this univeristy whenever they have been invited to another Sikh soc event, takes there chance only to promote this, for instance last year at Imperial University a collabrations dinner took place where all universities around London sikh socs got together. Lse was given a free mic, and they took the chance to promote the bhangra event and other night club raving events, no one said anything. And at the end of the even they stood outside of the doors handing out the leaflets. 22. Penji I got the same problem, all types of eczema and skin rashes on the body even the scalp are usually affected by 2 main factors, stress and diet. As per the stress avoid stressful situations people say countring helps naam simran, bani, simran, just remain achint care free and chill out more then usual and relax. As per diet here is a definte list of avoid, avoid all nut bearing products, even coco powder coco is a type of nut so defo no chocolate, chocolate is always a cause of dandruff skin rashes and stuff. dandruff skin rashes are a form of allergy so allergy drugs are usually what are prescribed like lortadine it can kick in and avoid the scratching, flaring and bleeding. Cow milk, Milk causes alot of skin problems. Eggs, cause problems (don't know if you are veggi to the max, but it may a good time to, chicken also causes skin problems). certain berries, blue berry strawberry. all types of food that in panajbi they say gives garami inside, Hot foods like dairy, chocolate and nuts. Some people may suggest cutting your hair as a cure, it is stupid, its only going to make it show more. Milk may be a keyfactor, try eliminating certain aspects out of your diet see how you feel give it a reasonable amount of time to kick in stress, workload anxiety are keyfactors to it. read into allergies and conditioning behind it, even dust mite, and certain cushions can cause it so keeping home in a certain condition, pets can cause it, rodents and bad conditoning, there many key factors behind it beside hair products, there is this 1 shampoo made out bees wax special really intensive really does the trick. But as they say Stress is started of all illnesses, diseases and problems.

  25. )))) Singh ji this is a prophecy , it just further tells us even more to reject the caste system. Because it was written in a time were this would have seemed completely impossible, but has happened shows the grace of the guru. IT is nto written in a bad context, or good, just presented as a fact so to say. The reason the Guru's primarily married into there own caste was because they were bound to by there families also they were carrying out hindu ritual marriage were marrying out of the caste would have been objectional to the main brahmanical order and there marriage may have not taken place of then, but was also in respect to there families and there wishes. Upto the first 3 Gurus, the Gurgaddi was not passed on to the son/family, but to the most able disciple within the Panth hence greatest disciple. Guru Angad Dev (Bhai Lehna)- the second Guru - laterpassed on the responsibility of Panth to his disciple Guru Amardas - the third Guru - in his own life. Once upon a time Guru Angad was taking bath. After taking bath he sat down on a wooden platform (takhat) and started meditating. Bhani Kunwar Ji - (wife of Guru Amardas ji) was sitting nearby to look after the aged Guru. One of the supports (paya) of the takhat was weak and started falling apart. Guru Angad was still in meditation, and nobody else was around. Bhani ji, afraid that aged Guru may fall down and get hurt, and seeing no other option, put her own feet in the place of the support. Nails digged into her flesh and weight of the platform was much. As a result she started bleeding profusely but did not wake the Guru up from his meditation. When Guru Angad got up after meditating, he saw the scene, and felt greatly for the devotion of Bhaniji. In that state he asked Bhaniji to ask for any wish and it would be granted. She refused to ask, but Guru insisted. At last she said if Guru really wanted to bless her with something, she wanted that the Gurupad of Sikh panth should stay withing her children and their children, and not go to anyone outside her family. Hearing this, Guru became very serious and sad. He said Gurgaddi only belongs to Guru Nanak and no one else had any authority to claim it or grant it. He further said sadly that since he had already promised her, her wish would be fulfilled, but from then onwards Sikh Gurus and their devoted Sikhs would endure great hardships, as this was a disobey to Guru Nanak. There is more detail to this sakhi but it is why the gurgadi came into to the sodhi family, in dasam granth narates the ancient story between guru nanak the bedi clain origin on meeting sodhi family and an ancient order having preplaneed giving a physical kingship for a spirtual kingship. One of the main reasons why the married into there own clans, they could have married out of there clan in the same caste, but kept to the same subcaste. You should remember the way of a Gursikh there family seeks a wife who is gursikh, as per there gristri jevan it has to be such that, on entering khalsa panth, khalsa is your caste, and family and everything, the belief per sikh should be on one day to come to a state where they can be ready for amrit da pahul, for a sevak sehjadhari sikh that is. Most modern defintions would outcaste someone with other considerations or ideas in there mind. So :6 In the end remember what maharaj hadth said. Aval Allah noor upaaeiaa kudrat ke sab bandey || Ek noor te sab jag upajaiaa koun bhalae ko mande ? logaa bharam n bhoolahu bhaaee || khaalik khalak.. khalak mehi khaalik poor rahiou srab thaii.... Bhai Gurdaas Ji Vaars Bhai Gurdaas 5 In their own varnas all the people (of the four varnas) observe the tradition of their caste and tribe. The believers in the books of the six schools perform six duties according to the wisdom of their respective spiritual mentors. Servants go and salute their masters. Merchants deal profusely in their own special merchandise. All the farmers sow different seeds in their different fields. Mechanics meet their fellow mechanics in the workshop. Similarly, the Sikhs of Guru, associate themselves with the company of the holy persons. Many are traders and many more Jain goldsmiths. In this world millions are Jats and millions are calico printers. Many are coppersmiths and many are considered ironsmiths. Many are oilmen and many confectioners are available in the market. Many are messengers, many barbers and many more businessmen. In fact, in all the four varnas, there are many castes and sub castes. Many are green grocers, many are makers of kuppas, large vessels made from raw hide usually for holding and carrying oil, and may more are butchers. Many are toy and bangle sellers and many are leather workers and vegetable growers-cum-sellers. Millions drink hemp and many are brewers of wine from rice and barley, and confectioners are also many there. Millions of cattle breeders, palanquin bearers and milk-men may be presently counted. Millions of scavengers and outcaste pariahs (chandal) are there . Thus myriads are names and places which cannot be counted. A devotee named Bhagata if Ohari caste and Bhagat of Japuvansi family were two sikhs that served the Guru. Sihan, the Uppal, and another devotee of Uppal caste were very dear to the true Guru. One Bhagirath of Malsihan town was there who earlier was a devotee of Kali, the goddess. Jita of Randhava was also a fine Sikh and Bhai Budda, whose earlier name was Bura, would remember the Lord with single devotion. Bhai Phirana of Khaira caste, Jodh and Jiva always remained absorbed in the service of the Guru. One Lohar caste Sikh named Gujjar was there who preached Sikhism to the Sikhs of the Guru. Dhinga, the barber, serving the Guru got his whole family liberated. The gurmukhs having sight of the Lord themselves, make others also to have the same glimpse. This Shabad is by Bhai Gurdaas Ji in Vaars Bhai Gurdaas on Pannaa 11 Saktu Mehta and Nihalu Chaddha of Agra have become blest. Bhai Garhial and Mathara Das and their families are said to have been dyed in the red colour of love for the Guru. Ganga belonging to Sahagal caste is brave and Harbans, the hermit serves in the dharamsala, the inn for the pilgrims. Murari of Anand caste is a saint of high order and Kalyana is the house of love and pure like lotus. Bhai Nano, Bhai Latakan and Bind Rao have served the congregation with full labour and love. Alam Chand Handa, Sainsara Talvar are the Sikhs who live with all happiness. Jagana and Nanda both are sadhus and Bhana of Suhar caste is competent like swan to have discerned from the real from false. These, all fellow disciples of the Guru, are like the jewels of a string. This Shabad is by Bhai Gurdaas Ji in Vaars Bhai Gurdaas on Pannaa 11 In village Suhanda is Bhai maia of lamb caste who sings the holy hymns in the holy congregation. Chuhar of Chaujhar caste from Lucknow is gurmukh who remembers Lord day and night. Bhai Bhana of Prayag is a close Sikh who earns his livelihood. Jattu and Tappa, the residents of Jaunpur have served in accordance with Gurmat with stable mind. In Patna Bhai naval and among Sabhaervals Nihala is a pious person. One wealthy person is known by the name of Jaita who likes nothing except the service of the Guru. Of Rajmahal city is Bhanu Bahal whose mind is absorbed in the wisdom of the Guru and the loving devotion. Badali Sodhi and Gopal, the rich persons understand the Gurmat. Sundar Chaddha of Agra and Bhai Mohan a resident of Dhakka have served and cultivated the true earning. I am sacrifice unto the holy congregation. This Shabad is by Bhai Gurdaas Ji in Vaars Bhai Gurdaas on Pannaa 11 In kaliyuga, a devotee named Namdev made the temple rotate and dead cow alive. It is said Kabir used to go out of prison as and when he liked. Dhanna, the jatt (farmer) and Sadhana born in a known low cast butcher got across the world ocean. Considering Ravi Das a devotee of the Lord, all the four varnas praise him. Beni, the saint was a spiritualist, and born in a so-called low barber caste Sain was a devotee (of Lord). Falling at and becoming the dust of the feet is the great trance for the Sikhs of the Guru (their caste should not be considered). The devotees, though they behold the imperceptible Lord, yet do not disclose this to anyone. This Shabad is by Bhai Gurdaas Ji in Vaars Bhai Gurdaas on Pannaa 12 God created the sandal tree and kept it in the forest. The breeze moves around the sandal but does not understand the imperceptible (nature of the tree). The truth about the sandal comes to the forefront when it perfumes everyone with its fragrance. The gurmukh goes beyond all the caste and the distinctions of eating taboos. He drinks the nectar of fear and love of the Lord in the holy congregation. The Gurmukh comes face to face with his own intrinsic nature (sahaj subhai). This Shabad is by Bhai Gurdaas Ji in Vaars Bhai Gurdaas on Pannaa 14 The true Guru (God) is the true emperor and the holy congregation is true throne which is most delightful. The true Word is such a true mint where different castes in the from of metals meet the Guru, the philosopher's stone, and become gold (gurmukhs). There, only the true divine Will operates because the order of truth alone is bestower of joy and delight. There, in the early morning eulogisation is true and is of the truth alone. Gurmukhs remain detached among many hopes and they always play the game of truth. Such gurmukhs become Guru and the Guru becomes their disciple. This Shabad is by Bhai Gurdaas Ji in Vaars Bhai Gurdaas on Pannaa 18 A wayfarer, on the way halted in an inn. Then moved forward on the told path. He neither got envious with anyone nor did he get infatuated by any. He neither asked the caste (identity) of any dying person nor he felt any delight witnessing the marriage ceremonies etc. He happily accepted gifts of the Lord and never remained hungry or thirsty. The lotus face of the gurmukh always remains in blossom due to continuous remembrance of the Lord. This Shabad is by Bhai Gurdaas Ji in Vaars Bhai Gurdaas on Pannaa 19 He himself is wonderful (because in spite of his powers he is egoless). By His efforts all the four varnas (social castes) have become one and now the individual gets liberated in the holy congregation. Like the fragrance of sandal, He without any discrimination makes every one fragrant. All act as ordained by Him and no one has the power to say no to Him.
