  1. Sikhism is a veryy beatiful religion.
  2. Really good posts my sikh brothers and sisters. I dont know if i support the idea of khalistan or not. But i know 1 thing that if our 10th Sri Guru Ji of sikhism wanted khalistan they would've made the entire world khalistan. Every one would be sikhs. I mean come on Bhram Giani Akalis were waay beyond immortal. But i know the issues with it. In 1984 the indian gov't was sooo wrong. Not all hindus killed sikhs, some helped the sikhs. But in reality it was soo wrong so many Gursikhs lost their lives in the sikh temples. But God wants us to live in harmony, the best thing to win Gods affection is by living a truthful life, and doing Paat from you're heart.
  3. I was reading about sikh war history earlier this morning. This post is about Maharaja Ranjit Singh Jis army and their glourious reign of conqeuring close to half of asia in less then 50 short years. All his warriors were fearless. I have not ever heard a story of a sikh warrior who had fear? I told some people about the battle of chamkaur while and they could not believe how strong the sikh warrriors were. Chamkaur was 40 sikhs vs 1 million soldiers. Anyways back to my post. The british signed a peace treaty with Maharaja Ranjit Singh Jis army. The british werent that strong. They never wanted to fight the sikhs. If the british were the most powerful army in history, why not come to india to fight and conquer in the time of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, they had people exploring the world. The british came to trade then. They attacked india near the 1900s i think. I am not to sure about the dates, sorry. But anyways the sikh empire conquered india, it extended well into china. The sikhs beat the chinese imperial army at tibet with just 3 000 soldiers. I think the sikh army at that time had less then 40 000 soldiers for sureee. Yet the glourious GurSikhs beat every army they fought. They took afghanstan, which the ottamans were holding. All the muslims were not mughals. Mughals is not a word. Its mugol persian word. Its a misprounciation of the word mongol. mugol=mongol army. The sikhs also conquered parts of iran i believe. They took nepal. Im not sure if there was anything left other then small parts around asia. I think if Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji was still alive they would've took china, dealing with the fact that the chinese armies had never won against sikhs ever. The chinese had mongols, they to fell to india time in time again. Its pretty amazing. Its really sad that if you ever play on xbox live or anything, when people talk about stories of brave battles, lol. those stories are nothign compared to sikh war stories. 40 vs 1 million. 4000 vs 30000. 1 sikh vs 20 000. 15 000 vs 300000. NOTE they won each of those battles. I told some guys about chamkaur, they could not even say a single word about the fact that the swords could not cut through flesh anymore because thats how many ppl the sikhs killed. Anyways sikh empire was really big, its sad that most westerners dont even know we sikhs exist. They think sikhs are arabs. It was really bad after 9/11, really sad how some treated us like that. Not all did, but some. i mean killing innnocent people thats wrong. The word jihad is not when the taliban is doing, its something to do with the protection of muslims in ancient war history against other armies, when innocent muslims were being killed. How can some one kill an innocent person, and not feel sad about it. Would not those terriorsts feel remorse when they reciete Naam? Its sad man anyways great posts my sikh brothers and sisters. I think this forum is really imformative. i learned alot about sikh history.
  4. IT TOOK THE MUGHAL IMPERIAL ARMY 1 LAKH SOLDIERS (100 000) TO KILL THIS AKALI JI. THEY HAD TO SURROND HIM, SHOOT ARROWS AT HIM, FINALLY AFTER THEY LOST 100 000 SOLDIERS TO HIM THEY FINALLY GOT HIM.
  5. Amazing pasage. In Sikh history the dieing on the battlefield is a very distinguished topic for religious texts in sikh religion. Sri Hargobind Sahib Ji to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jis armies did not die merely an ordinary warriors death. The persians, yes the persians called the sikh warriors more feared then the greeks, spartans, mongols, great khans, and romans. The persians who conquered the world for nearly a 1000 years said that these sikhs are the size of 50 men. The persians hated the sikhs, they tried to persecute the sikhs for our religion. The persians were mongols at the time, along with Timiriuds and Turks. The mughals were part of the mongol army. The muslims did horrible things, but they were great warriors. But just how great an empire or person can stand by doing bad things to innocent people? It is to punish such horrible rulers who execute teenage girls that God sends warriors like Akalis to earth to punish these tryants. I will tell you one thing when Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji came and started the military army of modern Akalis. I remeber that every king, mughal, mongol, rajput, hindu rajas, pathan, persians, iranians, afghan turks, indo-turks, or any king that ever faught his immortals, they either were killed in the first battle, or they came to him and apologized. Guru Jis army, yes the same Guru Ji use GurSikhs bow to with tears of joy in our eyes, army showed the greatest act of bravery and power in one battle. When the Chali Mukte stood and fought mongols or mughals. 1 million mughals fell to the ground elephant after elephant soldier after soldier to the 7ft swords of the flamished, fearlesss and most importantly immortal sikhs. In 72 hours 1/10th of the mughals fled in battle. Their general was soo horriified at the power of the Akali Jis, and the amount of shevvered legs and arms of the mughal warriors, he began to cry, he would not step out to the battlefield. The 40 immortals brought down 500 000 mughal imperial soldiers, 1 lakh fled in battle. The mughals were horrified at the scene that there king sent his son to bow to Guru Ji. It took 100 000 soldiers to surronde and bring down Baba Jujhar Singh Ji. The Sikhs onlyyy were the only warriors that enemy armies could not and would not fight 1 on 1. They had at least 10 000 enemy soldiers for every sikh warrior. From Akalis to Nihangs, to GurSikhs who brought fear into the heart of the Ottaman empire. Sikhs were strongest at the time of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jis army. "Our master is the one who conquers death" "Let them die such a death" Never to die an orindary warriors death, they were immortals. Why fall after an arrow has cut through you're neck, when you can stand after you're head has hit the ground. Now i am not just making things up, a lot of this was written in Paat. Crack troops, powerful and unconquerable, in sharp colors and capable of crushing the enemy; Such pride and ego that mountains may fly away, but they will not budge from the battlefield; Tearing up the revolting enemies, twisting their necks, smashing even the mad elephants; Yet without His grace, they will meet their worldly end empty handed. Guru Gobind Singh (DG p. 14) Countless brave soldiers, ever-ready to face the sword's edge; So many countries conquered, rebels subjugated, wild elephants crushed; Powerful forts they smash, the world now bows to their mere threat; Yet God alone is the supreme Commander, at His door they stand as beggars. Guru Gobind Singh (DG p. 14) They sent their elephants, united as tall as the sky, but even they fell to the ground one by one. Not even arrows can match their speed. Notify you're king to bring sava lakh (125 000) for every 1 Akali. Be sure, they will never shoot an arrow at you're back, no they praise the creators name. Never has the rain touched such massive weapons. Never has the sky weapt as much as it had when 1 of the immortals leaves the earth. Army after army, empire after empire when will the Akalis be stopped? If 1 lakh attacks a loved one, they will not be able to cause harm to him. You're army falls like rain from the sky when you go face to face with real warriors. After you're army has made countless kings bow to you, it is you who bows to their leader (God) in the heartland of the Akalis Akalis are close to no one. They never marry. There only purpose is to fight for Truth. They came to the earth with sheer power. There home is the battlefield. Their leader is the one who conquers death. The master of the universe. The one God. Do not waste you're time accumilated the land of the entire world, be sure if you cross the immortals, you're entire empire will fall like rain They will rip through you're army in the heartland of you're kingdom. They fight for truth. Why fight for land, when it will mean nothing to you when you leave the earth. They fight for the true purpose They are the ones who fight without heads. They bow to no one other then the conquere of death. They are the truest of warriors. Thats a poem i wrote, its not that grammatically correct but i wrote it because i think it describes what Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jis army was.
  6. The hindu raj, and mughal raj were very strong alone. But compared to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jis Akalis (Immortals) come on, that was a joke. The Akalis emberrassed them in and out. They made the mongols conquest die, and they made the mongols flee in battle. The mughals were mongols. After the 5th mongol ruler, everyone was muslim. You have to admit the muslims were beyond strong. They were a lot stronger then anyone else, other then the Bhram Gianis. The muslims had the persians, the indo-turks who were in india before the 16th century. The mongols even converted to islam, with Ghazan and his decendants. The first mughal king was Babbar or something. The mongols lost in two places, against the afghan turks, and against the Sikhs. The Sikhs came much after the four great khans, but the mongol empire was still very much in power, having much more then 100 million soldiers it had during the four great khans. The mongols had close to half a billion soldiers, if you add the persians, irans, afghans, and the mughals in india. If you at the chinese dynasty under the mongol control then they had a lot more then that. But the Sikhs were known for their bravery and courage. But really how brave were our sikhs? Were they braver then everyone else. Well lol yes. Lets look at their battles? The Bhram Gianis aka Immortals fought the greatest act of bravery in human history with 40 Mukte charging at 1 million mongols under the tryantttt Aurzengabs reign. He sent 1 million troops allied with the rajas to invade Guru Jis army after breaking a promise. Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji already knew the promise was to be broken. So the chali mukte decided to stand and fight these 1 million mughal invaders. What a stand the Akalis had, they brought down half of the 1 million, they made 1/10th of their army flee in battle, THEY KILLED SOOO MANY MUGHALS THEIR 100-200LB SWORDS COULD NOT CUT THROUGH FLESH ANY MORE. NOW THATS WARRIOR. Anyways it took 1 lakh or 100 000 mughal/rajputs to bring down Baba Jujhar Singh Ji. Right before this immortal charged into battle, he said one of the most important and infleuncial lines in Akalis war history which is-----let me go where my brother has gone. I am a Sikh of great Guru Nanak , and I will prove that --- THE TRUTH IS STRONGER THAN GUN AND MILLION CAN BE DEFEATED BY ONE. And my oh my, did he prove that quote. The mughals had never been embrassed like that in battle. "Even the strongest of men looked as if they had lost their mental balance" The great mughal generals were sooo scared of the shevvered arms and legs of the mughal army, he was soooo scared to step out into the battlefield. lol. He did not even fight, he hid behind the wall like the coward he was. Read the zafarnama, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jis eye witness account. Sri Guru Ji always respected a brave warrior, whether he killed innocent people or not, a brave warrior is a brave warrior. The mughals took a lot of the same tactics the mongols did, they would kill everyone, women, men and childern to. Thats why people said that the Ghensghin was not a good ruler. The sikhs were immortal, Bhram Gianis, they had to fight a lot more then just the mongols, the turks were in afghanstan, the persians in modern day iran, along with the mongols there. Even the rajputs tried to mount attacks. I remeber in history it said that one rajput army said they would kill Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji in battle, so Sri Guru Jis army of Akalis went and made the rajputs flee. I know how strong the rajputs were, with their crap load of war elephants, only the sikhs had defeated the elephants, 1 on 1, or army against army. The sikhs could not be stopped. There are 3 types of Sikh warriors, the Akalis which were directly with Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jis army, from Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, then there were armies that were under Banda Singh Bhadhur, then Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Ji, and finally the Gursikhs, and the massive warriors like Sardar Nawla Singh Ji, everyone knows who Sardar Nawla Singh Ji was and the fear he brought the afghan turks in battle. British did what they always did to conquer land, buy people off and trade. If the british werent afraid of indian rule when Guru Jis time, and the first mongols went to india, then how come the british came to trade? The british knew of the armies of india then, they sent people around the world to explore, explot people like they did to the Natives in the us and canada, and given them beer for fur. Nonsense things, the british was an empire of guns, thats not warriors man, if the british was soo strong why didnt they challenge Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jis immortals? The 8ft-9ft tall soldiers that carried 100-200lb 7ft swords? That outran arrows in battle, oh yeah i forgot the british came onlyyyyyy to learn about the sikh religion, when Guru Ji was there. They came in the lateeee 1800s after Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji choose to die because he built 1 of the 5 holiest sites in the sikh faith, as a Santh about what he built. He built it on Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jis decent to heaven, no ordinary man would give his family for Guru Ji but Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji had great loveee for the Sikh Gurus. They came like 5 years after him or something, lol its really sad that a huge chunk of the sikhs then decided to be bought off with promises of land by the british. It was really sad, kinda like how every other empire fell. People want to find ways to exploit innocent people. But in reality Sikhs were beyond strong, they were the real life titans, even the persians feared them in battle, they said they were the size of 50 men. Immpossible to fight 1 on 1. I do not think any warrior ever fought a sikh 1 on 1, they had at least 10 000 other soldiers surronding the 1 sikh. I remeebr the story of how 1 Sikh stopped 20 000 mughals, and fought them alone, before they were ambushhing the sikhs in Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji. Anyways Sat Sri Akal what an amazing history we sikhs have. TO MY ABOVE QUOTE. Not ALL SIKH WARRIORS WERE AKALIS. AKALIS MEANS DEATH LESS BEINGS. IN REALITY THEY ARE IMMORTALS, THEY ARE PROOF OF THE EXISTENCE OF THE MASTER OF THE UNIVERISE. SHAHEED BABA DEEP SINGH JI WAS AN AKALIS, HE WALKED AND FOUGHT WITH HIS HEAD ON HIS PALM AGAINST AFGHAN TURK-KHAN EMPORERS. HE BROUGHT THE HEAD OF THE INFAMOUS KHAN TO THE GROUND, WHILE HIS OWN HEAD WAS CUT FROM THE SWING OF THE SWORD OF THE KHAN EMPORER. A FELLOW GURSIKH SAID TO BABA JI....WHAT ARE YOU DOING? YOU SAID YOU WILL LAY YOU'RE LAST BREATH INFRONT OF OUR HOLIEST OF SHRINES, RIGHT THEN, BABA JI BEGAN TO FUFILL HIS PROMISE. WOWWW. BABA JI WAS THE DEFINITION OF WHAT A SEVAK OF GOD IS. HE DID JAPJI SAHIB PAAT 101 TIMES. WHAT AN HONOUR IT MUST OF HAVE BEEN TO SEE BABA JI A REAL LIFE AKALIS WARRIOR LAY HIS LAST BREATH BEFORE HE WENT AND BECAME 1 WITH GOD. AKALIS PRETTY MUCH MEANS 1 WHO CAN STOP BULLETS, CAN NOT DIE, AND WILL FIGHT WITHOUT A HEAD. AKALIS CAME INTO BATTLE WITH THE 6TH GURU JI OF SIKHISM WHEN HE BROUGHT DOWN MONGOL RULERS TO THE GROUND. 15 000 AKALIS FOUGHT 300 000 MONGOLS. I REMEBER THIS BATTLE IN PERCTICULAR BECAUSE ITS ONE OF THE BATTLES THAT THE AKALIS FIRST FOUGHT. AFTER THE MARYTDOM OF THE 5TH GURU JI OF SIKHISM. THE AKALIS STARTED TO FIGHT AGAINST THE MUGHALS. ITS REALLY HARD TO GET INFORMATION ON THE BATTLES OF THE ORIGINAL AKALIS. IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO FIND INFORMATION. THERE IS NOT MUCH ABOUT THEIR WAY OF BATTLE, I KNOW IN INDIA AT THE SRI HARMANDAR SAHIB, THERES A WEALTH OF INFORMATION AND PORTRAITS, PAINTINGS AND PICTURES OF AKALIS NIGHANGS AND GURSIKH WARRIORS THAT FOUGHT FOR TRUTH. ANYWAYS SAT SRI AKAL
  7. The hindu raj, and mughal raj were very strong alone. But compared to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jis Akalis (Immortals) come on, that was a joke. The Akalis emberrassed them in and out. 8. Waking up in Amrit Wela is the greatest time to do Paat, espicially at our age. You have any idea the kind of joy Sri Guru Jis gets when a child wakes at Amrit Wela. When Sanths come on tv, they say stuff about how theres things that want to stop us from doing Paat. Every real GurSikh will get a challenge and something that will try to stop them from recieting Naam. It happens to everyone. Do Paat outloud, and do it from you're heart. Treat the Gutka with the greatest respect, hold it high. Watch in a month of doing that, i can not even tell you how good that is to do it. Trust me do it. Its beyond good to do that.
  9. When you talk about the battles that these "Sikh" Warriors fought. You talk about them with the highest respect. The 5th Sri Guru Ji of our beatiful faith talked about these immortals in the Sri Sukhmani Sahib. Called them immortals, creators, they are close to no one. Everyone knows sikhs as very brave and fearless warriors. But just how brave were the ones who showed the power of Gurbani to the entire world? Can we sikhs show bravery like the so called spartans? lol. The 21 sikhs vs 10 000 afghans was an example of bravery. But really that example does not even come close to the examples that the Akalis showed when they brought down mongols, turks, and hindu hill rajas, and rajputs. There was a famous ruler in the middle east, that came from the mongols. Ghazans family. He attacked a sikh army with his troops to ambush them and show the world that the muslims were the real immortals, not the Akali Jis. lol. Lets just say after the battle he brought his son to bow to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji infront of all the Akali Jis. Theres pictures of it in the Gurdwara. Was their ever a warrior like Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Ji, who carried a massive 160lb kirpan or sword. He carried a massive shield. Was there ever a warrior who walked with his head on his palm. People talk about how great the greeks, or mongols were. Yes they were great, but greek historians were known for their ability to exagerate battles. The greeks said the 300 movie was based on 300 spartans vs 10 million perisans, and the spartans killed half their army, and they ran at them. As strong as the spartans were, that was not the case. No one fought like the Akali Jis mentioned in Gurbani. The greatest act of bravery and power in a single battle was shown by Khalsa Panth. When 40 Bhram Gianis stood face to face with 1 million mongols. NOTE MUGHALS ARE MONGOLS. BUBBAR was the great Khans grandson. Now these 40 immortals killed sooo many mughals and rajputs that their 7ft massive swords stopped cutting through flesh. Have you ever in your life heard of a battle with just 5 warriors fighting off against an army as large as 1 million. That was the battle that two of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jis childern atttainted Shaheedi. It took 1 lakh (100 000) mughal imperial soldiers to bring down just 1 of the Bhram Gianis. Guru Jis eye witness account is in the Dhasam Granth i tihnk. "Even the strongest of men looked as if they had lost their mental balance". Even the strongest of the warriors fled infront of the Akalis. By the end of the battle nearly half the mughal army was killed, at least 1/10th of the so called "Great" Aurzengabs army fled in battle. Now does not that show the truth of real warriors. Any one strong can be a warrior, it takes a lot more then strength to be a real warrior. The Akalis lived and spent all their time with Sri Guru Ji. They traveled day in and day out, winter, summer anything, they had no food, they had to eat leaves at times. Tell me if you have ever heard of warriors spanning 8ft tall? Warriors that fought with their head on thier palm? Warriors that never robbed an old lady, or shot an arrow at a cowards back. They defined a brand new style of warfare. Back then everyone used arrows, or threw javalions. lol. It doesnt take long to understand that the Akalis were truly Bhram Gianis. If you go to the Gurdwara ask any Santh there about the strength of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jis army. Theres two famous doctors who wrote soo many books on the sikh war history, from the 6th Sri Guru Ji of sikhism that fought the mongols, and the turkish tribes to Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji. The hindu hill rajas gave into Baba Banda Singh Bhadhur before he was executed. They paid taxes. Remeber how the hindu rajputs used their massive elephants in battle, and defeated the Great Alexander. Well they tried that against Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jis army, but it doesnt work on God, or immortals. They fought elepahnts one on one. The hindus use to give beer to the elephants to boost their strength so they could attack Sri Guru Jis village, lol, there is a story of how one sikh put a sword or javalion through the middle of the elephants eyes. Anyways the reason I write this to my fellow sikhs is because, we need to be proud of our heritage, what Guru Ji taught us. There are so many great armies in history, the muslims, Timiriuds, mongols, turks, greeks, and so on. But we rarely see stories of such bravery and power like the ones that Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jis army showed. We live in western societies, and we our more infleunced by western culture, then our own at times. Anyways theres a lot of stories of sikh history. The Akalis said their master is the one who conquers death. They fought battles 4000 vs 30 000, 15 000 vs 155 000, and so on. One last thing when we talk about the battles of the warriors of Khalsa, and even before Khalsa was made......when the 6th Sri Guru Ji of our beatiful faith was attacking and bringing down the anceint mongols from Babbur and them. Anyways Sat Sri Akal.
