12 hours after opening ceremony, around 12am, sgpc sent task force of 50 people along with construction workers to demolish and remove all plaques. Taksal jatha group was there but limited in number and amritvela Sangat of harmander sahib also reached the spot and sgpc task force sent by Makkar on order of badals fled the area. Later Makkar flatly denied this in the morning. Sgpc was acting same way in 80's when taksal took over in a day and all sgpc officials ran away. taksal and panthic singhs took all its responsibilities. Sgpc should learn from history on not to provoke sensitive issues, including movie sadda haq and memorial. Thought not a fan but full credit is with baba dhumma.

He is the lone man running AGPC and does nothing but create problems. His major support was sarna delhi. We can figure out the outcome. How many Sikhs there are in uk ? and how many shows up for such protests? If there is VAST difference then people need to think why this is happening to our Kaum. We need to figure out how we can have a better way to communicate with each other, organizing skills and a better way to get other religious body on our boat including Hindu leaders in uk. If we are not strong in numbers then no GOVT body, News Media nor the whole world will care about us. Only number matters !!! I am not saying that I expect 100% of uk Sikh pop. to be at such protests but at least 10% or so... That is very low and reasonable expectation.

Khalsa ji, stop depending on others. Sant samaj is only in papers as they have no real power nor strong line of followers. Even if they do have a bit of followers then they are not dedicated to stand for the point. As sant bhinderanwalay used to say don't depend on me and don't come to me for help which you can do it on your own. "What I can do or accomplish" is the progress way rather than crying "oh what are they doing, where are these guy now".

Well it's a good thing that's happening of distributing copies because they (govt) never going to have it released in Punjab anyway. I am sure that film cost will get recovered by foreign shows. So it's win win situation however I doubt that govt are distributing it because damage is more if young generation watch the true story movie and these badal clan knows that.

Talking to Yes Punjab News, Sidhu said that Makkar has played with the sentiments of Sikhs by first hailing and supporting the film whole-heartedly and then taking a complete U-turn on the issue. If the president of Supreme Religious Body of Sikhs behaves in such a manner, it does not reflect positively on the community. Either his decision to support the film was wrong or he is doing wrong now by defending the ban on the film. It shows that he is not capable of taking right decisions at the right time. I doubt whether such a person deserves to hold such a high post as a representative of the entire community, he said. Commenting on Makkars statement that he has committed a folly by hailing and supporting the film, Sidhu said that if it was so, what was the point of installing picture of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale in the Sikh Musuem at Amritsar. Blaming Makkar for dual politicsSidhu said that leaders like him earlier too betrayed youth of Punjab by first raising the pitch for their political gains and then backtracked for their own vested interests. Doha is rich state and desperately trying to attract business and tourist to their place. Since they are very rich, their fleet is in extremely good condition. However their business ethics is what concerns me. If they tell you price of ticket in one minute, next they will change it on their own. If you want to cancel it, they will hike their cancellation charges. Their prices fluctuate too much and veryoften! Their customer service (phone) is very much like Indian one and they always sound non-trust-able. I don't use this airline because of their 11 hrs stay in Doha and they don't let you go out without visa nor there are any pod/hotel inside airport. Asian Airlines are the best but that is not quite helpful to Uk ppl !

It is just like why we sleep during night and work/play daytime. Why sun rises in the morning and goes out in the evening. my top guess is that most human feel same way during certain times of the day. For. example, fresh in the morning and thus we have asa ki vaar to fill bir raas to start new day ahead. So, as time goes certain point of the day, sikhi/gurbani is there to guide us (reminding us again and again and helps us to fight 5 vices). There are no restrictions regarding doing any bani at any time except daily nithnem prayers. You are free to remember waheguru thru gurbani anytime of the day.

Go with tap water or get filter such as brita pitcher or Pur tap attachment. Bottle water is not good because it may cause cancer or other bimary if exposed to sun for a period of time. Throw away bottle water if u kept it in ur car even for few hours in sun. It is dangerous because you will never know in what condition bottle water delivered to you store (scorching heat while traveling on trucks). Same with hype brand such as Fiji water traveling in containers 1000 of miles ship journey. Most probably taking Equator route. Tap water if your city water is safe to drink.

cgy99100, why u get upset and cringe when you hear the true facts of sikh raj. Most of our history is yet hidden and not researched yet. Get over with it and whether u believe it or not, history ain't gonna change on ur wild assumptions.
