With all due respect how am i supposed to know its from a true singh or not if i dont know the source? To me its as much as hearsay as it is truth, thats why i asked for further proof. Use a bit of common sense here.....why should anyone believe something that someone alledegly said without concrete proof? That way anyone can just say anything they like and pass it off as truth. Doesn't sound like a very wise approach to me...

Im not defending babbu mann, I just asked for more concrete proof which should be readily available if his comments were said publicly. Of course we are going to have trust issues when you consider how much hearsay our community comes out with.

If there were many punjabi news reporters there, surely this should have been caught on video. A transcript however is not good enough. Please bring a video forward as proof. These are certainly outragous statements and i don't want to support babbu IF they prove to be true.

I have no sympathy for the stupid little 15 year old girl, people have to realise that if you make mistakes you have to learn from them too, what you plant you shall have to eat. But my heart goes out to the families who have to cope with situations like this. Its because of the mistakes of girls like these that these families have to suffer for the rest of their lives and are often destroyed. Girls like these have no shame, no honour and no love for sikhi and then they are all of a sudden victims??! The amount of damage they do just for a little bit of attention is unbelievable. These muslim predators are looking to dominate sikhs, its a simple fact, anyone who thinks otherwise have their head in the clouds. The only real workable solution is to dominate them instead, this is what history has taught us, it is the only language they understand. Banda Singh Bahadar didn't hug trees and act all politically correct when dealing with the same scum centuries ago, he went on a conquest and from that stemmed our victory. I'm sick and tired of good hearted sikhs being walked all over. Reclaim your honour and shaan Sikho!

whats wrong with you people? Who here is perfect? Why are you ripping this lad to bits? While many 'sikh' girls are going off with pakis and converting out of "love", you guys here are ripping a guy who wants to introduce his girlfriend to sikhi. Thats great news! Hes made his intentions clear at the start of the thread, he clearly has some love for sikhi, why shouldn't he introduce her to sikhi? How is this guy any worse than 'sikh' guys and girls who date in between themsellves and couldnt care less about sikhi or future generaiton of sikhs? He asked for advice as to how he could introduce her to sikhi. So answer the question. We should spread sikhi not limit its reach. This is exactly why islam is growing and us bandars are here moaning about sikhs converting out of religion.

hi always great to hear about someone becoming interested in sikhi. im not from canada so the advice i can offer you is limited. However i would advice you to keep a distance from guru ravidas sabha. You should know that even if they claim to be sikhs, what they follow is not really sikhism. While sikhs consider bhagat ravidass ji to be a great saint and his verses are included in the guru granth sahib ji, ravidassis have elevated him to the status of 'guru' which doesnt fit in well with the theory of their being 11 sikh gurus. Many do this out of caste alledigence (bhagat ravidas ji himself was dalit). The very fact that they told you to stay away from a gurdwara that is according to them 'jatt dominated' is very dodgy, considering that caste has no place in sikhism. There are many other differences too, which i think you should look into. All the best, wish you well.
