What happened when at Maksoodar (a jungle area in ludiana) Sant Baba Darshan Singh Ji Khalsa did meditation, and before it was an inhabitable place. Now Sant Baba Darshan Singh Ji Khalsa has a Gurdwara and Academy there. There story i heard was that Baba Darshan Singh Ji was getting a good following, more and more people started being blessed with Amrit, toward the end of the 90's when Akalis were in control (badal group) Baba Darshan Singh had a helicopter. The Guru Har Rai Sahib Gurdwara High Street West Bromwich, have been approached and the management are to come to a decision regarding a coach, they were helpful and i'm sure they will provide a coach for the West Bromwich Sangats to go to Sikhs in the Square.

I know at a wedding you know when people give money or "pyaar" to the girl and boy, well yesterday Sunday 23rd October 2005 it was Daljit Singh Shergill's (former President of Guru Nanak Gurdwara High St in Smethwick and President of the National Council Of Gurdwaras) his nieces wedding and all the money that was given to the boy and girl around £2,500 - £3,000 will be sent to the earthquake appeal. This was also done, at Daljit singh Shergill's own daughters wedding, when the main building of Guru Nanak Gurdwara High Street Smethwick was being built but when the centre of the middle building was demolished the Gurdwara only had £40,000, around 1994 which was nothing as the builders wanted that to take away the demolished building, so the then Mukh Sevadaar Daljit Singh Shergill did the same the money that was given to the girl and boy at the wedding was put straight into the golak, the then General Secretary Harbhajan Singh Sandhu also did the same at his daughters wedding. I think this should be done in ALL weddings and at other occasions at times like this, because remember our prayer everyday.... "NANAK NAAM CHARDI KALA... TERE BHANEE SARBAT DA BHALLA..." And its a Sikhs duty to carry out Sarbat Da Bhalla.

The reason i have started this topic is that i wanted to ask from the Sadh Sangat if they know about a place a "IK NIWAAS" in Wolverhampton, on the Dudley Road near Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara Sedgley St Wolves. I've heard in this "IK NIWAAS" they have a Saroop of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, i'm not sure maybe Guru Ji has been taken from this place, but theres all other "hindufied" stuff going on. I know on the day of the Sikh Convention, in Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara Sedgley St Wolverhampton on the 11th Sept 2005, some Singhs went to this "IK NIWAAS" but i think the police were called. Could another member of the Sadh Sangat shed some light on this, and if Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj at this "Ek Niwaas" should we take Satguru ji Back to the Gurdwara Sahib?
