Oh yeh, and those of you who keep on saying do ardaas, its not that simple. Firstly, if you have not taken Amrit, ie have Guru Nanak as your Guru, your ardaas won’t be heard by him, as he won’t recognise you. Secondly, you can’t expect Guru Ji to bless you if you haven’t served him, this isn’t how Worship of God works. You have to learn to become True Servants or just Don’t Take Amrit, if you cannot give your head. Prepare and work hard before taking amrit and learn and understand the importance of Amrit. Amrit is the first step and the first most easy rehat is to keep hair, which shouldnt be a problem for anyone. Sikhi goes much deeper than these worldly matters. Oh yeh, and someone said Sikhi is like licking a stone, yeah at first but this is the test of love which is the opposite of Maya, where we get the pleasure instantly from Maya, but for Naam and Bani it takes time and effort. Whatever the panj pyara tell candidate taking amrit, he/she must keep that to themselves. unless you're saying we should be panj pyarai and start telling everyone the technique - think before you post. To the topic starter: Concentration on Naam isn't something we naturely have, we have to achieve it. Gurbani tells us we have to obtain single-minded concentration on Naam. You have to listen to what you're saying; do this at amritvela and try and do it with every breath 24/7. the concentration should come itself. just say you're japping naam, your mind wonders off, bring it back when you've realised that your concentration has gone off. Don't knowingly take it off concentration into another thought. remember listen to what you're saying, this is Gurmat YOGA. Budhs, Sidhs and Naths do exactly the same with their own mantar. Now to achieve this concentration read lots of bani before japping naam. choose whatever bani you want to read and always do that before japping naam. This isn't just my thinking its also baba harnam singh (rumpurkhera wala), Sant Narajin singh and so many other saint's thinking. Baba Harnam singh said Guru Ji disapproves of his sikhs watching tv/movies and sant narajan singh said God fearing people don't watch dramas/movies, dance and some other stuff. Did you know, gurbani tells us if we have even one interest at all in Maya when we die we have to be reborn. No one is allowed in saackhand with an attachment to maya. Sikhi is the highest and hardest religion to practice. It's similar to buddhism but harder. Oh yeh and I don't watch tv/movies. also, listening to radio programmes as long as it is news is fine. but let me guess what you're going to say now: news is maya too, lol - just make yourself sound stupid and say that. ACtually Guru Nanak stayed in religious company, whether muslim or hindu, as long as they were religious. He even kept a bata which only he and his sikhs used, not muslims or hindus. Now, when Guru Nanak stayed in bad company, he was especially in that company to liberate them, as they had a good previous life. But one mistake led them to becomin sinners in their next life, eg kunda rakhas, was a religious man in his previous life until making a wrong move which caused someone to curse him. Another thing, GURU NANAK HAD ALREADY BECOME GURMUKH SO HE WOULD OBVIOUSLY BE UNEFFECTED BY MANMUKH COMPANY!! There comes a stage where one is uneffected by manmukh company. Here's a line from gurbani tellings us lower level beings to stay away from manmukhs: BTW: sakhat means worldly people/people who worship maya. Every manmukh worships maya. har saakath saethee sa(n)g n kareeahu oue maarae sirajanehaarae || O Lord, let me not be in the company of the faithless cynic, who is cursed by the Creator Lord. another: thae saakath chor jinaa naam visaariaa man thin kai nikatt n bhitteeai ||4|| Such faithless cynics, who have forgotten the Naam, are thieves. O my mind, do not even go near them. ||4|| another: har kae dhaas sio saakath nehee sa(n)g || The Lord's servant does not associate with the faithless cynic. Theres another shabad line which Kabeer ji says to run far away from the faithless cynic, he also says that before becoming a saint their company destroyed him. Bhai Gurdaas ji says: bhalaa buraa dhue sa(n)g subhaaeae ||14|| Because of the nature of the company kept, one becomes good or bad.(14) Remember that his bani is meant to be the key to understanding Sri Guru Granth SAHib ji. Also, singh-khalsa, you don't understand the wrong in bhangra, due to your mind state. If you bring it up to a higher level of consciousness then you will literally be able to feel the negativity and how filthy it is. Lastly, I mentioned rape and other major sins because when we keep on indulging in minor-maya (dancing, movies, video games etc) up to sin-maya, again and again in other lives, we gradually increase sin and our mind state becomes animal-like and we become rapists. The smallest of maya will attach us to more pleasurable mayas until we become rapists or killers. Why in hell are you listening to MANMUKHS. Dancing is against Gurmat. Here's another thing, gurbani tells us to stay away from manmukhs because in thier company we become blind. Dancing is an insane pleasure played with the body. Instead spend time reading gurbani and trying to understand Guru Ji's message. chandi is not the sargun form of vaheguroo but a simple creation of vaheguru. The only sargun form of Vaheguroo is Dhur Ki bani and also the creation is Vaheguroo Ji's image. We do not even know that a specific being called chandi who fought these battles even existed. In my own humble opinion I don't think Guroo Sahib meant us to believe that all of these things happened, but to take inspiration from it to go to war. It's definetly written by Guroo Sahib but daas doesn't think its meant to be taken as a historical account or something. bhull chuk maafee. Firstly do you even know what SARGUN means. Let me tell you, it means having qualities. God is Nirgun (without qualities) whereas we are Sargun (with qualities). Read gurbani to understand this. Secondly, when one who japps naam (immensely) see everything that exists. And let me tell you Durga devi exists and this war DID HAPPEN. God has created many different species, beings you wouldn't even think exist. Why? because you live in this human body and you can only see what the eyes of this human body is capable of seeing. You need the spiritual eyes to see what else exists besides this world and humans. Also, you need to clean the dirt/filth of the eyes which have become like this from many times being born and indulging in sin.

Muslims, Christians, Hindus etc all worship God indirectly, through the SARGUN Form of God, Vishnu. This god (Vishnu) has been created and placed in every universe created to start the play of nature. Guru Nanak Dev Ji was the first to Find the NIRGUN/NIRANKAAR Form of God, Vahiguroo. Guru Nanak Dev after becoming one with God showed the ultimate Truth to his Sikhs. Our religion is above goods deeds and bads deeds; all these are under EGO. Through them we go to heaven and hell which are under the power of Maya. But through Guru Sahib Ji's teaching we destroy this EGO, which is the veil between us and God. We then become humble, like God, and live above Maya, above heaven/hell etc. Sikhs take advantage and think there isn't much to Sikhi, and for some reason think Islam to be on the same level or even higher. But only when we start practicing Guru Granth Sahib's teaching will we realise the Truth. When we Japp Naam, Wisdom dawns onto the person after a while not straight away. The devotee has to keep japping it until they begin to taste the rass of it. This can only happen if we stop worshiping Maya. From this rass, before it and after we have over millions of spiritual experiences and the knowledge that dawns is amazing. God is actually changing us and making us able to withstand his power before we get to saachkhand. One of them is this: the lotus flower turns the right way up and amrit pours in from the Dasam Duar, directly from Saachkhand, into the lotus flower. The Devotee then has the True Ishnaan. He daily literally drinks this amrit. He then becomes one of Immortals of Saachkhand. Gurbani tells us we are not picking up the jewels of Naam, we blindly walk right past them. We may be japping naam, but blindly japping it. One of the jewels is that we literally get a coolness and it can be even felt when we touch our face. This coolness feels like beautiful cold water inside us permeating and pervading everywhere. There are other jewels as well. Sikhi/Gurmat is amazing, you have to experience it to know it. Especially the incredible Power that one recieves from it. Anway, only the Khalsa will rule, not Sikhs. When we take amrit we become Sikhs, our goal is to become Khalsa (pure)/Gurmukh. Our other goal is to achieve true love for God so that we yearn for his darshan and achieve it while alive or when our body dies. When we become Gurmukh this yearn will automaticly come. Right now, we Sikhs are all living on false love. Muslims, Christian, Hindus etc are living on this false love too. If a Muslim is practicing his religion properly without any hate inside of him, then God will let him meet Guru Nanak Dev I.E. TAKE AMRIT, one day, it could be in another human life. At least to become Sikh (take amrit) we need some level of compassion, if not the ultimate compassion. God chooses that person. Thats what makes Sikhi higher and Greater, and so much more different than other religions, which are under the power of EGO and Maya.

Also, why don't you ask yourself this question: Why didn't Guru Ji straight after 'vaar sri bhagauti ji ki' just begin the poem of chandi instead of all the 'I first remember you, then guru nanak dev, then angad dev, then...'? The reason could be that Guru Nanak Dev ji and the rest of the Gurus mentioned are a part of this vaar, and it begins with them and then after them Durga (aka Maya). All derive their power from Bhagauti (God/Sword). We (the sikhs) have just added to it the Vaar of Guru Gobind Singh, Guru Granth Sahib, panj pyarai, chali mukti etc.

Well, vaar just means either time, sacrifice or ballad and bhagauti is Vahiguroo. Therefore, when we say 'Vaar Sri Bhagauti Ji Ki' we are saying: everything, time, creation, story etc (vaar) is of Vahiguroo, therefore, I first remember him then Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The creation is the story (vaar) of God because he's the puppertier and puppet, the creator and creation. The chandi dee // poem is also about God's herioc feats. Durga devi is just one of God's Sargun forms like us, the power behind her capability is of Gods. There is a story in Guru Ji's time, forgot what guru and can't remember every detail of it so I'll just tell in brief. A hindu once worshipped Durga and saw her doing seva at a Gurudwara, surprised he asked what she is doing here and she replied by saying "Where do you think I get all my power from, it is here from the Guru". The hindu realised that he was worshipping God indirectly, and Guru Ji told him instead why doesn't he just pray directly to God. Remember that there is no difference between Guru and God, the only difference is the human body that they were in. In conclusion, 'vaar sri bhaguti ki ji' is just referring to God and chandi di vaar is also referring to God. It all begins with God. Anyhow, as long as the ardaas is heard by Guru/God then it's fine. Hope that helped.

This is what you do: - Do Kirtan (praises of God's Gun (qualities)) every amritvela (between 3am to 6am) and every evening. - Do ardaas non-stop every amritvela and evening, with a white hozoori on. Tell Guru Ji that the kirtan, sukhmani sahib and japji is for the kid and if Guru Ji can accept it. Ardaas to Guru Ji only works for Amritdharis, because they have Guru Nanak Dev Ji as their Guru. Otherwise, Guru Ji won't recognise or even hear the person doing it. - Do Sukhmani Sahib everyday for him. - Do Japji sahib as well everyday - do as much as you can. There is a story about a Bhramgyani named Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh who became ill along with his father, before he had taken amrit and become a saint. The illness they had was catchy, can't remember what it was but you die from it. Anyway, Bhai Sahib Ji heard a voice tell him "Naam is the cure for all diseases", and since he did not have Naam because he had not taken amrit, the only Naam he could think of was JapJi Sahib. He did this five times, and then the sixth time he got absorbed and without control kept on going back and forth on the manai pauri (manai means believing/faith and this pauri is about how the faithful one gets the impossible). After that he along with his father were cured, at this time his father was in a state of bliss listening to the manai part resounding in his inner self. The other way is if you held an akhand paath especially for the kid in which the kid has to be present, listening to the whole paath from the beginning to the end. Someone was once cured of cancer by doing this. Hope that helped.

Lust is easy to overcome. Sikhi tells us to overcome five demons/vices, one of them being lust. You have to listen to everything I tell you to do, so that you can get to my level of being uneffected by lust. Just remember lust is sick, from it people watch porn and think it is fine. But in their next human life whenever they get it again, they become rapists/pedaphiles. This is because they did not control themselves in their previous human life. Anyway, whatever I have listed below is from Gurbani, here it is: - Ardaas - do this everyday, don't miss a day. amritvela is a good time to do this. - kirtan (singing praises of God's Gun (quailties)) - do this every evening, even amritvela if possible. - Japping Naam (Vahiguroo) at amritvela, evening time AND 24Hrs WITH EVERY BREATH - that way you will be protected. Wherever you are, whatever you are doing don't stop japping naam. Naam is the CURE FOR THE DISEASE EGO, which every being created by God has, also what LUST DERIVES from. Gurbani tells us this. - Read bawan akhari, japji and jaap sahib. pic one from these three to read a lot, as a favorite bani. - ALSO STOP WATCHING MOVIES/TV - I DON'T WATCH THAT CRAP because we're meant to be Yogi's living in Maya/society the opposite of Buddha, as he lived outside of society to easily achieve enlightenment. Our Hukam as Sikh Yogis is to live in society and be DEAD TO MAYA!! Otherwise we won't ever achieve Vaheguru's Darshan, which is our enlightenment. Baba Harnaam Singh (rumpurkhera wala) said Guru Ji does not approve of his Sikhs watching TV/movies. Sant Narajan singh Ji said the same. Guru Ji's Gursikhs are ashamed of such lowly acts. TV/Movies is very lowly to be influenced by, how can you ever even challange the biggest of Maya, if we're easily weakened by something as low and inferior as TV/movies. - Start Practicing Bibek (making your own food from raw materials/eating from amritdharis) - Good Company, stay away from Manmukhs. Gurbani tells to run away from them. You should stay in Good Amritdhari company, not bad amritdhari company, as you will find a lot who don't have a clue about Sikhi. Now, with Manmukhs don't go following them about . I.E. socialing too much with them, just answer a question if they have one. The trick is talk about God with them, and if they don't want to everytime you do they will stop talking to you altogether. BTW: Naam only works for those who have Guru Nanak Dev ji as their Guru, I.E. AMRIT. Even Ardaas to Guru Ji works if you have amrit, otherwise Guru Ji won't recognise you. Hope that helped.
