  1. i dont like it. but i also want an explanation.
  2. i'm not saying blame the brahmins for everything. brahmin does not always refer to a hindu caste. its mostly used to describe hindu/indians who are in power in the hindustani govt. or religious organisations over there. also, do muslims hold knives to the throats of our youths in britain and force them to convert? no. coercing and forcing someone does not always involve violence. if someone wants to cause problems for sikhi and sikhs we are not going to be protected by sitting on our backsides. stopping casteism in sikhi involves overcoming barriers in our community and preventing outsiders causing divisions.
  3. this thread is awfully quiet........ oh wait i see. all those who accuse certain people of being 'anti-hindu' now know they are wrong. well done to dal khalsa for showing that sikh organisations who believe in self determination do not judge others fighting for their freedom by their religion. fighting against hindustan does not make you 'anti-hindu'.
  4. i'll be honest and say i only said 'some guys' because i'm such a good outstanding guy.ahem. thats not what i said. what i'm saying is that it will take something drastic to shake her from the idea her life is perfect now she is 'popular'. in another thread i had a go at those gurudwara committee members who came here in the 60s, got a haircut to get a job, started drinking/gambling, got a gori girlfriend even if they had a wife back in the punjab etc but then became 'religous' again just to take control of a gurudwara. all of them who did that were men. its just that this thread was started by a girl and i wanted to put across what some so-called religous girls do. but what the bad men get up to is as bad but not identical, so i didnt make it a genderless point. but i did say somewhere that those of my older mates who got married and now have problems are guys, and the women i know dont seem to have any problems. thats also why i said maybe women dont have these problems or have other ways of dealing with it. but i'm not denying that sikh girls may face the same problems with their husbands. of course.
  5. the brahmins were around behind the scenes during maharaja ranjit singh's reign and during the british raj. let not forget the modern hindustani govt.
  6. lol, i said girls (as a plural as there is more than one), and i said all religions. the reason i said that is because muslimahs and catholic/jewish girls do the same kind of thing. some guys do bad stuff as well but what they do is not identical. i hope you understand. it is sad, but i've seen this happen to people, and once they lose faith or get greedy, they wont realise what they've done until they crash. one of my friends went completely off the rails once and we all tried to help him. but he threw it back in our faces and was just totally unreasonable. it was only until he realised he couldnt have a bad lifestyle/attitude and be a good person that he changed. lol, your reply to my post wasnt really going to help her was it? if anything it gives her the excuse to say 'if sikh guys do it (and even if they dont), i can do what i want!'. if i had said 'all girls of all religions', then your reasoning would be correct. but i didnt. once again i was not aiming that comment at all girls. i'm sorry but i really think you need to read things properly. this is what i said: 'i just didnt mention what guys get up to, and trust me i know that some of them are a hell of a lot worse than any woman could be.' so i did mention it. also i have only posted twice on this thread. so maybe you should be clearer about what posts you are reffering to. yes, but when someone asks 'why did you do it?' the answer is usually about blaming guys. maybe because the religous-girl-goes-wild-then-pretends-to-come-back-to-faith thing is all too common nowadays. and god help her family and future husband/inlaws/children. alright, alright, i wasnt going to force you. :| Women go psycho huh?.. but what exactly did you mean by 'to a bit psycho and get their own back on their husband for lying? i meant something along the lines of what's below: I would feel disgusted and beat him up for thinking that it was okay for him to say that. I'm glad we're on the same page concerning the issue of girls/guys doing things just because guys/girls do.
  7. was that a serious question :S? if it was a actual question then the answer to it is ''another word for shastar vidiyta, jung means war vidiya means science knowledge etc so its basically like knowing how to fight in war or something on them lines.. or it could be war art, any one of those is the right answer its just another name for shastar vidiya i know what the literal meaning was, its just i thought shastar vidiya is how to use weapons but jung vidiya could be the tactics of commanding forces (like a sikh version of 'the art of war'). if the two terms are the same, thats ok, thanks for telling me. my friend, shastar vidiya is also how to fight unarmed, grappling, jung tactics, knowing battle formations etc etc. jung vidiya is shastar vidiya we can be taught about tactics etc but it wouldnt really be used in britain maybe in the pind if someone tries screwing the pind over you could use jung tactics lol maybe lol, you never know when command skills and the ability to fight in a group will be useful. . i think when i read post #20 i thought there were two completely different vidiyas.

  10. what is jang vidhiya? sounds interesting.
  11. i think we should have back all the areas of the khalsa raj before the brits came. and the territory we would have had if we had beaten them!  :D :o Raj Karega Khalsa - Aakee Rehae Naa Koe
  12. supposedly the jews of eastern europe knew krav maga...........didnt stop them getting sent to the gas chambers did it? most sikhs nowadays dont know any fighting arts. british people arent pedantic or as thorough as the germans so griffy and his numbnuts wont build gas chambers though. but what i'm saying is that it wont be exactly like how hitler got to power.... so we dont really know how this could turn out. but it never hurts to prepare for the worst.
  13. dont jump to any conclusions? you just jumped on a whole pile of them. btw no one cares about the ravidassia. lol, most sikhs didnt even know your little cult existed before the shooting. have a nice day . MOD EDIT I guess sikhs are a voilent cult and members of this cult engage in terrorism against innocents and against other religions like now Talibans do. How similar are you to them? No wonder, it is your reputation and the talk from people like you that peace loving sikhs also get attacked in US here. Shame on you. Straighten up guys. your world is changing around you. hahah, you're such a crying hindu <banned word filter activated>. ravidasia 'religion' is a load of nonsense, made by those profiteering off a holy man who had no following until recently. what a bunch of comedians.
  14. Sorry to burst your bubble titled 'Bashing Girls'.. but guys do the EXACT same things as girls. Then, the poor girl ends up marrying someone she thinks is really great cuz of what her parents were told by her prospective in-laws who are a 'good family', as they say. After getting 'hitched' she realizes what a two-faced, deceitful, 'narinder singh' nutcase he is. oh well, that's just facts that we can't hide from. Anyway.. I hope the original poster seeks a counselor soon. ...Peace all right sister, calm down. firstly it is not titled 'bashing girls'. maybe you should see a counsellor as your post was quite a paranoid reaction. threads about what sikh girls get up to on this forum usually appear at the rate of 2-3 a month - and each time i have said that guys do a lot of bad things as well. but that does not detract from the stuff girls get up to. read my post again. nowhere did i say it was just girls who do it. i just didnt mention what guys get up to, and trust me i know that some of them are a hell of a lot worse than any woman could be. most of my older mates who have problems happen to be guys though. maybe the women just put up with it or go a bit psycho and get their own back on their husband for lying, i dont know. but my point is that sikh girls cant hide behind this attitude that guys get up to it, so i can do what i want. the truth is that most guys dont. its just a handful - but a lot of guys brag about things they have never done. when i was at college there was a bunch of desi girls (i wont call them sikh) who got up to all sorts. and they all went on about how the guys did it so why cant we? the truth is most of the sikh guys didnt do anything like what they got up to, but it was a convenient excuse for them. if you get married and your husband turns around and says 'i lied, i actually had a lot of girlfriends, but you cant blame me, as sikh girls got up to the same things', how would you feel?
  15. NO! the oppressed people of the world are part of the future of sikhi. those intellects who are spiritual but dont like hinduism, christianity, islam etc are part of the future of sikhi. what would be the point in replacing 'jatts' with ravidassia/chamars in sikhi? dont they name their gurudwaras after their own caste aswell? there are already many so-called low castes sikhs. what would be the point in having more of one bunch of people who believe in their caste than another in the panth? the answer is we have to get past caste (all of us!). mixed gurudwaras. mixed committees. one united, casteless sangat. that is the future.
  16. i dont want to tread on anyone's views but when you say 'First Khalsa Republic', which area/time period are you referring to?
  17. mohammed was a lot of things. and one of them wasnt a sikh. does anyone know what 'muslim' actually means?
  18. and no one is surprised that ravidassias are good at twisting words, talking <banned word filter activated> and sufferers of verbal diarrhea. in the west hindu temples and the ravidassia have major problems as the 'lower castes' are all converting to christianity as they get more free stuff and easier lives. some things never change. no wonder they get treated like <banned word filter activated>.
  19. That's what austrian police has said. That's what witnesses have said. btw, it should not go against all sikhs. Not all ravidassias are good and not all sikhs are good. If caste has come into picture, it is because of nature of the crime and its justification given by sikh diaspora. Surprisingly, these morons justify murder also. What will happen of such people who justify murder of innocents? any recent evidence? and its you who constantly brings caste into this. not every chamar is a ravidassia so it has nothing to do with caste for us. but you bring it up at every turn just to cry about the problems your ancestors faced whilst you just waltz around in the west bullying sikhs at work. typical. also why were the 'sant's' guards carrying weapons in austria? did they have the relevant licenses? one rule for the ravidassia and another for the rest of us.
  20. Even if they are Ravidassis, once one wears those knives and claim to be sikhs then they are sikhs, plain and simple. it is not surprising when a Ravidassis does something good then you people embrace them as sikhs and when something bad is done, then they become Ravidassis sikhs, mazhabi sikhs, ramgharia sikhs, bhatra sikhs etc... Isn't it an oxymoron that you have classes in sikhs..? I thouch sikhism was a classless society. You should thank your cunning Master Tara Singh (if you know who he is) for that.. how does that work? did they claim they were sikhs? NO! stop making us feel bad for something your lot did. sikhi is casteless. you obviously arent. of course you wont ever be as there is too much to gain from constantly whining about so called injustices. as for master tara singh, i thought people like you would love him for helping to allow you to get the freebies for your caste. lets face it your as bad as the 'high castes' when it comes down to it.
  21. thats all it ever is about with people like you. whine, whine, whine - no wonder no one cares. people like you make it harder for the real victims.
  22. yeah, i'm alright. thanks for asking.
  23. ahem, its still not clear who really killed the 'sant'. so the terrorists could quite easily be jealous ravidassia. it seems all this power and education given to you in the last 50 years has made you as sly and violent as the so called 'high' hindu castes.
  24. go on then. what are you waiting for?
  25. nicely done. though i now wish other artists would be a bit more respectful too.
