O Nanak, the happy soul-bride abides in Truth; she loves to love her Husband Lord. || 3 || The soul-bride looks so beautiful in the home of her Husband Lord, if she is pleasing to Him. It is of no use at all to speak false words. If she speaks false, it is of no use to her, and she does not see her Husband Lord with her eyes. Worthless, forgotten and abandoned by her Husband Lord, she passes her life-night without her Lord and Master. Such a wife does not believe in the Word of the Gurus Shabad; she is caught in the net of the world, and does not obtain the Mansion of the Lords Presence. O Nanak, if she understands her own self, then, as Gurmukh, she merges in celestial peace. || 4 || Blessed is that soul-bride, who knows her Husband Lord. Without the Naam, she is false, and her actions are false as well. Devotional worship of the Lord is beautiful; the True Lord loves it. So immerse yourself in loving devotional worship of God. My Husband Lord is playful and innocent; imbued with His Love, I enjoy Him. She blossoms forth through the Word of the Gurus Shabad; she ravishes her Husband Lord, and obtains the most noble reward. in dasam bani it says Guru gobind singh ji expects us to met him with all kakkars and shasters.....sooooo it does go with you 91632[/snapback] Karah is a symbol given by Guru Gobind Singh signifying to remember God at all times. I believe the meaning is more important then symbol. Same with kesh, its out of respect and love that we keep our true form. But we dont have any right to judge others. Nor should we force our judgement. Talking from my own experience Guru Ji is very personal. For every person the Guru has his own ways and eventually all will merge with the one If a person wearing all the kakkars given by the Guru, but the heart within is evil and whereas on the other hand a person not having all the kakkars like not wearing the kara, but within is non-stop devotion. Who are we to say if others should wear karas or not? Why should we have problem about this? Those ppl who are complaining about outsiders wearing karas, should first look within themselves and ask if they are themselves proper Sikhs. Taking amrit doesnt entitle you to a karah. Taking amrit doesnt mean you are now a total Sikh without any effort on your part. I have seen people who have taken amrit to be worse then those who havent. If you want to go and complain about ppl who are not wearing karah's then tell me in how is this advancing your own path towards God. On the Contrary you are diminishing your progess by "always trying to find the Faults in others". But in return you are basically just complaining about this and that which is all useless and will go nowhere. If a person wears karah or wears a pag so let it be. There is a rule in these situations to follow. "Dont bring the trouble of others on yourselves. " IF you see someone is wearing karah and they are not remembering God, Dont think you are responsible for correcting this. Leave this to waheguru. Its not our job to complain about this. Beleive it or not your posts about this situations doesnt show the true nature of Sikhi. Sikhism is a very tolerant religion. Anyway. Take what you want from it.

I remember I did a presentation about this for one of my classes. It was really disturbing to know that nothing was done to save them but the whole world just watched this. By great good fortune, one joins the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, and then, one comes to savor the subtle essence of the Lord. || 3 || In the love of duality, there is pain and suffering; the Messenger of Death eyes the self-willed manmukhs. They cry and howl, day and night, caught by the pain of Maya. Caught by the pain of Maya, provoked by his ego, he passes his life crying out, “Mine, mine!”. He does not remember God, the Giver, and in the end, he departs regretting and repenting. Without the Name, nothing shall go along with him; not his children, spouse or the enticements of Maya. In the love of duality, there is pain and suffering; the Messenger of Death eyes the self-willed manmukhs. || 4 || Granting His Grace, the Lord has merged me with Himself; I have found the Mansion of the Lord’s Presence. I remain standing with my palms pressed together; I have become pleasing to God’s Mind. When one is pleasing to God’s Mind, then he merges in the Hukam of the Lord’s Command; surrendering to His Hukam, he finds peace.
