  1. peeeps peeps calm down. what this topic was meant to be was NOT about SURNAMES. what i meant by cast based usernames was like for example tharkan singh, or lord jatt or king chumar or something like that. this has NOTHING to do with peeps using ther surnames. i got nothing against peeps using surnames, as it is ther family name.
  2. btw im not trying to cause a argument or fighting or anything
  3. i agree they shouldnt have their screen names changed forcibly, and i agree only a polite request shud be paid. however with regards to the thinking or let and let live, or the if they wanna do it they can, thats fine its up to them, jus that my personl belief is that if this forum is ENCOURAGING sikhi or trying to bring youth back 2wards sikhi by teaching them, that allowing this is going against what this sites all about. also on that thinking sites like jattworld should not be condemned. another thinking is that, if u allow 1, u have to allow others. and 1 could lead to 10,20,30,40,new members with jaath associated names.
  4. Fateh sangat jio!! i have noticed that within the last 6ish months or so, that many new members of this forum have joined (which is excellent) but the down side is that sum members (not naming ne members) have used a caste based screen name. now comsidering that this forum is aa panthic sikh forum, i feel that allowing such screen names is anti-panthic and so therefore anti-sikh, as it is 1 of the main goals of this site to be TRUE to SIkhi teachings and beliefs. so i believe that such issues shud be nipped in the butt (so to speak) asap please for give me if i have offended ne1, jus my personal view WGJKK WGJKF p.s. im also surprised no SIKH has noticed this so far, or if they have that it has been allowed to continue.

  7. Another shameful thing is many apneh make up stories like this jus so they have reason to cut ther hair, and so instead of letting the hair grow back they continue cutting the kesh. this does happen as it happened to a geeza i know, twat

  12. The Victoria and Albert Museum in London, has hundreds of sikh artefacts. for the 300th anniversary for the khalsa they displayed many items, and im sure there was other things of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jis ther aswell. nearly all of the artefacts are kept in the vaults below the museum, wher people can not see these wonderful artefacts on a regular basis. 1 thing i give credit to the goras is that they look after and preserve stuff (even if it has nothing to do with ther history, culture or timeline), the bad side is that they are reluctant to give back those things that they have taken from other countries, cultures and religions. imagine the effect seeing those artefacts in a gurdwara (well preserved and secure etc) would have on the youth of 2day, seeing what ther fore-fathers lived and died for, because its 1 thing reading about the past and history, but its another thing seeing it in front of ur eyes.

  15. <_< WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats was such amazing to watch! iv always rated roop singh ji, since my family n i 1st eva met them back in the early 90s. jus to illustrate how chardi kala he is i shall tell u the li story. my family n i had gone to north wales (near mount snowden) for our summer holidays, and it must have been bout 1992, and on the way back home (wolves) near snowden we visited a pottery place bout 10-15 mins after entering all that we could hear was a great huge loud 'WAHEGUROOOO JI KA KHALSA< WAHEGUROOOOOOO JI KI FATEH' and out of no where a singh ji wid big long dhari and lovely dumalla come running towards my dad, huggin my family. he juc could not stop smiling and grinning and expressing his pleasure at meeting another pagh n dhari waleh sikhs! it was really funny cosall these welsh goreh got frightened and kept looking at us. to me that jus shows how nice roop singh ji is, and how nice his family are too.
