Clash between Sikhs, dera followers averted Rajay Deep Tribune News Service Muktsar, February 15 Timely intervention by the district administration averted a clash between Dera Sacha Sauda followers and Sikhs at Shah Satnam Chowk (Danewala Chowk) on the outskirt of Malout yesterday evening. Tension gripped the town when Dera Sacha Sauda followers objected to a religious programme of Sikhs, led by Baljeet Singh Daduwal, scheduled for late evening at Gurdwara Kalgidhar Sahib in Danewala village . Hundreds of dera followers assembled at the chowk located on National Highway-10 and started raising slogans against Baljeet Singh Daduwal, as they did not want him to join the congregation. They were accusing Daduwal of hurting their religious sentiments by uttering unpleasant words for their sect. Furious at dera followers, Sikhs also started expressing their annoyance. To douse the tension, various senior police and civil officials, including the DIG, Ferozepur range, the Muktsar SSP, the Malout DSP , Gidderbaha DSP, Muktsar DC and the Malout SDM, reached the spot. Besides deploying a large number of police men, senior police officials kept on negotiating with the dera followers, who were threatening to call thousands of their fellows, if Baljeet Singh Daduwal took part in the congregation. After hours-long efforts, the administration took the dera followers into confidence saying there would be no utterance against their sect and Daduwal would not come. Only then did they leave the spot. However, Daduwal, who was firm on attending the event, reportedly got nod from the district administration and reached the gurdwara late at night and attended the congregation, which concluded around 1.30 am in the morning. Muktsar DC Varun Roojam said, “Tension erupted among Sikhs and dera followers, but everything passed off peacefully.” we left the Dera Sacha Suada issue like everything was ok, when we know inside its not, now same thing is happening with the ashutosh issue.

Singhs In Rochester did good job on sending video of bakwas from Darshan Paapi, now we need to have Jathedars summon Sarna. Everyday this comes to my mind, Paapi Darshan was in U.S. when the Panj Saibans saw his bullshi* and Sarna is in India, they have to summon him because under his leadership tobaco, meat shraab were all brought in Gurdwara, this reminds me of Bluestar when tobbaco and shraab were brought into Sri Darbar Sahib by the indian army. PC: Sikh militancy resurfacing R Sedhuraman Tribune News Service New Delhi, February 7 Home Minister P Chidambaram today said there were signs of re-emergence of Sikh militancy, but sought to downplay the issue saying this was not a serious problem. “There are some signs of militant groups belonging to the Sikh community trying to raise their head in Punjab and Rajasthan,” Chidambaram told reporters while addressing the media at the end of a day-long conference of Chief Ministers on internal security here. He said Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot raised the problem of Sikh militants entering his state at the conference. “The Rajasthan Chief Minister did mention it. But in my assessment that is not a very acute problem… The Director-Generals of Police of Punjab as well as Rajasthan assured me that they could handle the problem.” The Haryana police chief also held similar views. “I don’t think it is a serious problem. But we will keep a watch,” the Home Minister told reporters while replying to queries on the statement by Gehlot.

correct puncuatiin of Gurbani is very important and when we say words wrong we are hurting the Guru ourselves and I had a question on the word Saibhang--- it is spelled with a G at the end but I've heard your not suppose pronounce the g but iv also heard people pronouncing the G... are we suppose to pronounce the g at the end ?

its because sikhs knew the government is planning to attack harminder sahib. i remember reading about how the government was planning a attack 1 year before it actually happened, they were just waiting for a day they could kill more innocent sikhs. and about sant ji not leaving and fighting somewhere else you have to remember bhindranwale wasnt there target, sikhs were the target. because at that time we had clearly reached a point where everyone wanted to live in india with equal rights and the government didnt want to give us our rights, so they attacked harminder sahib thinking it will send us to stone ages. also remember indian government had attacked 40 other gurudwaras that day, so sant ji not being there would have only meant more of harminder sahib being destroyed. thats why sant ji had said the day government attacks harmidar sahib the foundation of khalistan will be laid. THis is true as me and one of my uncles were talking what lead up to bluestar, he told me that way before Sant Ji became very famous, the army along with police were already coming into Punjab and getting ready for any type of movement to start, he said that around 1980 that the army and police had come around his village and other villages and were training and when he asked one sardar police man what was going on the policeman laughed and said training.... he said that they brought army and police training around villages where Sikhi was not the main religion around villages
