Could please explain why today Sikhs from Our Panth Eat Meat Even though When Meat is Not served/Allowed in Guru Langar in Any of the Gurudwaras. I think you people should read that sakhi from Suraj Prakash(Guru Gobind SIngh ji) when Maharajji Burnt one of Masand in Hot Oil for Keeping A prostitute with him, Eating Meat, Taking Dasvand from Poor Gurusikh in the name of Gurukar. Saad Sangat Ji, Garlic is Prohibited in Sikhism bcz as per History Records Garlic originated from Kaamdhenu Cow's Blood(cow goddess) when one of the King tried to steal Kamdhenu from Saints(Kaamdhenu is only accessible to Saints, Mahapursh), When Kamdhenu tried to Protect herself from that King, SHe fled upwards to Inderlok. King shot first arrow and hit the cow's Ear from where Tobacco originated and 2nd arrow hit the foot of Kamdhenu from where Garlic originated. Therefore Guru Gobind SIngh ji told to avoid Garlic and Tobbaco.

SGPC executive approves amendment in Nanakshahi calendar amidst chaos JAGMOHAN SINGH Sunday, 03 January 2010 SAD(Badal) bows to dictats of Sant Samaj AMRITSAR: Amidst chaos Shiromani Gurdwara Parbhandhak Committee (SGPC) Executive Committee which met here Sunday at Teja Singh Samundri Hall gave approval to bring amendments in Nanak Shahi Calendar (a separate calendar Sikh of Sikh community). Three executive members of SGPC out of fifteen Sukhdev Singh Bhaur, Karnail Singh Panjoli and Bibi Ravinder Kaur from Haryana boycotted the meeting as they were not in favour to bring any kind of amendment in the Nanak Shahi Calendar. Sant Samaj was building pressure on SAD(Badal) to make changes in the calendar to their convinience. However, last week, the Akal Takht (highest Sikh temporal seat), had sent its proposals to SGPC to discuss the necessary steps to make amendments in the calendar. SGPC chief Avtar Singh said that as per the amendments, now in future all the religious occasion like birth and death anniversaries of Sikh Gurus (masters) would be as per the existing calendars which was being followed by the Sikh community before the formation of Nanak Shahi Calendar. Now Nanak Shahi Calendar along with amendments to be sent to Jatehdar Akal Takht Gyani Gurbachan Singh for the final implementation. Sources at Akal Takht said that now Jatehdar was empowered to issue final edict for Sikh community to follow the Nanak Shahi Calendar with new amendments. Now there was no need to call the meeting of Sikh clergy, since clergy who met last week at secteritate of Akal Takht were already gave their formal approval and then sent to executive committee of SGPC for necessary steps. This step of SGPC has virtually raised eyebrows of Sikh Diaspora, expressed anguish over the working of the SGPC regarding amendments made in the Nanak Shahi calendar without taking the community into confidence. Immediate after the announcements made by Makkar, Several Sikh organisations Dal Khalsa, Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Shiromani Khalsa Panchayat, Shiromani Akali dal (Panch Pardani), Sikh Students Federation, Sikh Youth of Punjab, Akal Federation and Shiromani Panthic Council urged Jatehdar Akal Takht not to give final nod to changes brought in the calendar. The Protective Sword of Akal Purakh is Aaad Shakti which Guruji worshipped to get her blessings and Khanda for Creating a New Panth-Khalsa Panth. Mehtab SIngh ji, Maharajji did tapsya in Hemkunt Sahib in his Previous Birth. At that time Guruji didnot worship Aad shakti, Instead Maharajji worshipped Akal Purakh. That is why Guruji said ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਕਰਤ ਤਪਸਿਆ ਭਯੋ ॥ ਦ੍ਵੈ ਤੇ ਏਕ ਰੂਪ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਗਯੋ ॥. This line explains when at hemkunt sahib Guruji merged with Akal Purakh and Duality Vanished and then Akal Purakh Ordered Guruji to take Birth on Earth and establish the rule of Pure(Khalsa). I know you have taken these line for your explaination from Guru Sahib, Kalika and Bhagauti(Based on Hum Hindu Nahin, by Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha Bilja Singh. Basically What i am trying to tell is World is worshipping the Lower forms of Shakti like parvati,Durga,Kali,Laxmi. Our GUru Maharajji Worshipped High FOrm of Shakti which is the shadow saroop of Akal Purakh. Even Though Those lower froms of Shakti are created out of Maha Kalika(Aad Shakti). Even Pandits and Brahmns were not able to withstand the shakti of Aadshakti(mountains started shaking due to turmoils) during the Yagya performed by Maharajji, They all ran away except Maharajji.

Guru Nanak Dev ji did Tapsya for 36 yugs(not years) on each Vowels of Vaheguru for 9 yugs each.(Vaa for 9 yugs,heee for 9yugs,gu for 9 yugs and ru for another 9 yugs). So donot under estimate the power of Guru and its Mantar. Sab te vada Satgur Nanak, Jin Kal rakhi meri.

SSA Sangat Ji, In Dasam Granth, On One side Maharaji is telling not to worship Durga,mata Devi, Kali Mata AND on one side Maharaji worshipped Kalika to get her blessing to create a new Panth; KHALSA(because Khanda was given by Kalika which later Maharaji took it back along with him to Sachkhand Sahib.) Basically Lot of contraversies going on based on above mentioned lines. What i came to know from one of the Puran Gursikh is that. Akal Purakh crated Maya(Aad Shakti) and Ordered her to create Tin Chele Parvaan ; i.e. Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh(Eka Mai jugat Vehai, Tin Chele Parvaan-Ik Sansari,Ik Bhandari,Ik Lahe Deeban). And then Individual Shakti was given to each of them- Brahmini to Brhma, Parvaati to Shiv and Laxami to Visnu. The Saroops or Picture of Devis or Shakti we see on this earth are not the real saroops. The Real Saroop is diff. from What we see in Temples.(Like Sun is very big even its form and energy is differenct, but when its rays approaches earth , it takes diff. form and level of energy). Most of the times, Parvati take a form of Durga/Kali or other form on this Earth to kills Demons. Now coming to Point, Maharajji didnot worshipp Parvati or Brahmini or Laxmi. He worshipped Aad Shakti(Ong Sriang,hirang,liriang sundri Balhe Namah) which is the Shadow sarrop of Akal Purakh.There is nothing above Aad shakti except AkalPurakh.

Maharaji SGGji has lot respect for Gurmukhi language(i.e. punjabi). I donot understand why the Names are written on the Marble attached to the floors in Harmandir Sahib. Because Our foot touches the most sacred language in which SggSji is written.
