I would like to add when I mean that girls have bad karam, it doesn't mean boys have amazing karam. All I am saying is that their is a difference. But I would also like to add that girls are at an advantage because they can meet waheguru faster. The reason is that gurbani is written in the form of a women to her husband (waheguru). For girls it's easier to discipline and see waheguru as their husband hence waheguru is true purakh. But for a man it's more difficult they have to mould and discipline themselves as women and think waheguru as their husband. But so both girls and boys have an advantage and good karam but their is a difference in karam as I mentioned.

What you're talking about is dealing with your bad karams, and dealing with these karams can help you become stronger. But it doesn't affect that you have to go through these bad karams for e.g. say a person loses an arm, it is in fact due to their bad karam that they lost their arm. However dealing with 1 arm can make them a stronger person(which you are trying to say). Here's another better e.g female feticide happens so much in india and china that it is due to the females bad karams that they are getting this. Also your e.g. of using shaheeds does not make sense. The shaheeds were lucky they got to fight for their guru's and defending their religion. I wish I could fight besides the guru's as well (but my karam are bad), this is not bad karam, the shaheeds were lucky (full kirpa). By becoming shaheed for the guru they got mukti. So not a good e.g. to use their penji.

Your not understanding what I am writing. Your jumping in and assuming what I wrote, you could of asked for an explanation?! I never said women are bad lol stop judging and assuming. I'll back up my point why women have worse karam as they have to face more struggles in their life such as pain of birth (eqivelent to 1000 scorpion bites), period pain, like the OP said when married they have to leave all their family and go to the mans house. Also more likely to be abused, taken advantage, treated below average, not given jobs (especialy other countries apart from uk, usa) etc. The list goes on, there is definitly a difference in life quality.

I heard that 1 is born a girl as they have more worse karam than a boy does. So girls should do more part than boys. BUT everyone is equal and should be treated with respect.

These thoughts only come in your mind due to a lack of simran/ bani. Normally 1 starts seeing difficulties in life when they start thinking their nothing in life and 2 when they have a lot of hankar ego that they think that they are all that. You need to discipline your mind to be in the middle of these 2 mindsets. Hence you can't think your nothing as you are "waheguru's ansh" etc.... Leave everything up to waheguru and chillax. Do your simran and bani and seva, as these will relax you and help make you "thoughtless".

Will any sant come down to give talks about sikhi? (seriously no joke I remember 1 event I went to had a mahapursh doing talks and had a huge affect on sangat) Also will the the langar be completely bibek? Will the talks be jatha friendly? will the talkers be from taksal or akj as they have different views on sikhi?

(Guru ji is Giving Satgurship to the Khalsa, Not just ordinary Sikhs like us who just took Amrit and are wearing Kirpan; but ACTUAL Pure KHALS Gurusiks[Puran SANT,MAHAPursh and Brhamgyanis) But also I would like to add that I am not khalsa even though I have taken amrit from the panj pyare and wear a kirpan. I heard from a mahapursh that khalsa is only those who have conquered their panj chor and have self realised etc and khalsa can be anyone from any religion due to this. I'm on the path to become khalsa with waheguru's kirpa one day.

Yes very good points mohinder pal Ji. Guru is essential and thanks for clearing up what guru Ji means for everyone :D Also your last point can be a possible reason why guru ji gave kande di phaul to stop people falling to fakes as well. But I got to add there may be a lots of fakes but among them are few who are real as well. Like sant Jagjit singh said that you can get nam from the panj pyaree but also a puran brahm giani can give you naam as well. Like in the case of guru ramanand for bhagat kabeer ji, guru ramanand was puran hence could give naam to bhagat kabeer ji.

Bijla Singh Ji, Rather than me answering your questions I suggest you go to gurmatveechar.com and listen to the purthan kathas. Especially from sant isher singh ji and the others listed there. Also some of the answers I addressed to your questions can be found by listening to Sant Jagjit Singh Harkowale. You can find the q&a listed on this forum by sunsingh. By listening I bet you'll be surprised by finding out what khalsa is and who really is khalsa. Also you will discover what the meaning of satguru really is.... "No one can become guru wala without taking Amrit from Panj. Without True Guru no one can attain anything. Gurbani is clear on this and this is the Gurmat way of life." Let me answer your questions with another question lol Do you believe that no one was "guru wala" before Guru nanak dev ji took sargun form. Was bhagat kabeer Ji/ raja janak etc khalsa and guru wale? (as they were before guru nanak dev ji took sargun form) "Gursikhs are not concerned with heaven or hell. Gursikh life is to carry out the Will of Waheguru and follow Hukam of the Guru. Gursikhs don’t live pure way of life just for the sake of heaven. The sakhi that I have read and the way it is mentioned by sampardas is that Guru Sahib instructed Sikhs to keep hair so that in case they fall in hell, Guru sahib will grab their top knots and pull them out. Again, this is not a proof that can be accepted for your argument and sakhi is ridiculous." Actually there are 18 big naraks and charasi joon is narak as well. The definition of narak is different but it does exist ask a gian kandi he will recall as he can see this if you have doubts. There are many heavens as well but the aim of gursikh is to become lean with waheguru. But what you mention above that gursikhs should follow the hukum of waheguru is true. But that is not the final goal following hukum is required but that is one of the fundamentals needed to self realise. (Look at PJS veer ji posts about sant isher singh on self realisation). But after self realisation the aim of gursikh is to merge with akal purak the final contemplation on self. Actually the sakhis are not just from standard katha vachiks or so called professors that have katabi gian only. They are actually from self realised souls (brahm gianis), so it would be wise to think before you say they are ridiculous.

I know some nirmal and virkat brahm gianis that have not taken amrit and have merged with akal purakh without taking amrit. Of course amrit is important but it is not the only way.... As it comes down to this main question in life (as everyones aim is or should be this), can you still attain sachkand (merge with waheguru become puran) without kandei ki phaul the anwser is yes... But 1 of the main reasons in taking amrit is if any sikh falls into hell by chance then he/she will be pulled out by their kes. (There is a sakhi on this where Guru Gobind singh showed someone who was doubting amrit and not keeping hair but I won't mention it now) Also here is something for everyone to think about: Who and what is khalsa? Is becoming khalsa only for sikhs or can others in other religions become khalsa? Also the points made by bijla singh ji are debatable as some gursikhs in the time of bhai nand lal did take kande ki phaul even if they had taken charan phaul before. But you can debate on whether they did not take amrit because they were pakhe with their religion and did not want to break their way of religion. Also Mohinder Pal is right that bhai nand lal ji did not take amrit. There is actually a sakhi on this, but I will quickly summarise the points. Bhai Nand Lal who was of different religion did not take amrit and had the same avasta (spirtual state) as Sant jarnail singh Khalsa bhindrawale of abnasi darshan (seeing waheguru everywhere and was sachkandi already). But the sikhs did not like this and they took him to Guru Gobind singh ji and guru gobind singh told him why you should take amrit about being pulled out of narak(as mentioned above) and bhai nand lal ji said if I fall in hell please grab me by my ears and pull me out lol. The Guru knew bhai nand lal Ji's avasta and didn't look down on him as the guru already knew he was already in liberated(sachkand) and had full kirpa from the guru ji regardless of him taking amrit. ..

Be proactive in doing simran, bani, seva(to certain extent) only. Leave everything to waheguru as everything else is a waste of time. Why is this manuka janam given? To be proactive in anything else is foolish as it is costing you each swas.

I just wanted to add this from what sant jagjit singh ji harkhowale said about other religions. I've just copied and pasted some answers that show how other religions can reach sachkand and are equal in obtaining waheguru. (Below is copied and pasted from what was written here before) I sincerely hope this clears the doubts of many people. 6. In Kalyug, can Sachkhand be attained without Khande Batte Da Amrit ? - Sant ji said, whoever did naam di kaamie from any bhek will attain sackhand. There are many ways to meet Vahiguroo, whosoever did naam kaamie after receiving spiritual discourses from saints will get to sachkhand. However, there is only condition, sant/mahapursh should be pooran gyanvan/bhramgyani. He/she could be from any matt, jatt/patt. 7. Did the devi/devtae (Krishan Bhagwan etc) attain Sachkhand, if so how, because in Bachitar Natak Guru Ji states they all got lost in maya and that why Guru Ji had to come? - Sant ji said, krishan maharaj is also avtar of vahiguroo, he is always in sachkhand. Wherever he steps, that place becomes sachkhand. 8. Are the bhatts/bhagats who have their writings in Guru granth Sahib Ji, actually the Devi/Devtae reborn and attained SachKhand through Guru Ji? - Sant ji said, guru maharaj took gurbani from bhagats who were mukht(liberated). They were mukht before sri guru nanak dev ji came in physical form. Vahiguroo is only one, vahiguroo is the one takes avtar from ages to ages. Some people call him narsingh, raam, krishan, sri guru nanak dev ji etc there all one. To see any distination or have any partiality is work of agyani pursh(ignorant ones) not aim or work of gyanvan bhramgyanis.

Great post in describing the true aim in life, which the post clearly states about self realisation is required to meet waheguru. I would also like to add another "fault of man" separating him from waheguru is attachment (moh). Any attachment with anything in the world like family, friends, work, tv etc stop you from realising your true self and hence meeting waheguru. As you must realise that when you die, if you had any attachment in your life that you haven't broken you'll come back again possibly manuka (human life) janam again if you did a lot of bhagti. Waheguru is so so kind that if you did bhagti and had an desire or attachment in your current life but you could not achieve your desire in this life waheguru is likely to fill it for you in your next life. But the aim of for a gursikh is to destroy all attachment and become mukht (liberated and never returning to the cycle of birth and death). This is only done as mentioned in the post above through bhagti etc.

Hardeep Koli recently wrote an article for the guardian called "Mightier than the kirpan" he says "I find it hard to justify knives being allowed in schools – be they Sikh ceremonial symbols or otherwise" also he says "But there are more important battles to fight with regard to religious intolerance than whether Sikh kids can wear kirpans to school. Perhaps I'm being too literal, but all religions could do with taking a step back from symbols and icons and explore a little more deeply the philosophical content of what their belief system hopes to offer the world" This shows how the biased media used him as a sikh view to tell the mass public that the kirpan was oudated. What amazed me was in the video, he doesn't believe in religion and only wears a pagh because his parents tell him to. Basically all love for other things is false even your family and friends etc because generally all love causes attachment. Also the main reason they are false is that the love will not last forever for e.g. when you die and if you go into your next janam you'll have forgotten them. The love for waheguru is only true as it will last forever. As Guru Arjan Dev Ji says in gurbani: Aad aant sadha sahai dhan hamara meeat In the end is only you forever, your my only true friend/love If you are attached to something that means you can never meet waheguru. Through simran, bani you will start to realise that waheguru is such a thing that he only wants you to love him and no one else, he wants you to have full faith in him and only him. You see gurbani is written in the female tone as a wife towards her husband waheguru. Currently apart from bram gianis we are all so called public wives we are running after all different types of maya and don't have true love for waheguru.

All religions are not equal but all can meet waheguru. The reason they are not equal is the differences in rehit(code of conduct), such as in this topic's case cutting hair and eating meat etc. All these weaknesses in rehit affect a person's kamai(spirtual attainment) as these acts are sin. Also in the above post it mentions about Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh's description on the believes of other religions on liberation or heaven. But a person in any particular religion may have a fixed believe of how heaven and liberation will happen however if she or he starts to fully commit to their religion and starts praying a lot and starts building their kamai they will start to lose their ego, desires and start getting the gift of self realisation. This knowledge will enhance a devotees thinking and reasoning and their minds will start to mould to the believe of what gurbani mentions about liberation(sachkand). But Sikhi is a gift when waheguru himself came as guru avatar to help and destroy the mirage of believes and false acts people had accumalated over time when practising their religion, which had made their progress of self realisation very difficult by acts of cutting their hair, eating meat, false rituals etc. so the Guru's had made sikhi to correct the rehit of others and challenge the believe system of many so they could aid them to a faster path to sachkhand(liberation). As you got to remember if other religions couldn't meet waheguru then the Guru's would of destroyed all the religions in the world! and why would Guru Teg Bahadar Ji take shaheed to save the whole of hinduisim from being circumcised(Being converted to islam). Guru Ji could of easily have said you have no chance to meet waheguru in this life and could of said don't worry in your next live I will make you sikh so you can go to sachkand. But no, all religions can meet waheguru. Ok you maybe thinking that why not be a part of another religion if they can all meet waheguru the answer is that it is more harder to get to sachkand and merge with the supreme due to the differences and possible weaknesses in rehit. This life is a golden ticket given by waheguru and is 1 out of 8.4 million to get this life again. So why would you want to be part of another religion than sikhi, which is the fastest route to waheguru as each swas(breath) is important and why waste it!!! Like sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa says "If your a sikh be a true sikh" "If your a muslim be a true muslim" "If your a hindu be a true hindu" The reason why all religions can meet waheguru is the ability of a person to feel love towards waheguru "Sach keao sun leho sabhe jin prem kio tin he prab paio" The truth in meeting waheguru is through pure love Any way back to the original point of the topic, which is hair. Of course hair is compulsary in sikhi as it shows descipline and love to guru ji/waheguru. But more important for sikh to take amrit and follow rehit is this, which I don't think has been mentioned in this thread. The concept is that no sikh of the guru will fall into narak(hell).
