I would advise against this as such unions seldom work out. The biggest factor would be the path the children take. Will the father be happy if they decide to embrace the Muslim faith, as children are very close to the mother? What if the children all pick different paths? Which community would they belong to? It just causes such a headache. As for the case i take it the girl has run away from home? You say she is Muslim, but depending on what culture she comes from he could have some serious hassle on his hands. Not a great start to any marriage. Anyhow I am a firm believer in Sikhs marrying Sikhs, even if it is a man. We Sikhs don't have the huge numbers that other faiths have and should make it a priority that our heritage is not diluted. I can't believe you still have one or two guys still defending the EDL. Take a look at one of their recent "peaceful" demos where they attacked women and children in a restaurant. People reported an old woman kicked and children spat on. Note the kids and women near the entrance. This isn't a minority of them but hundreds walking by indulging in such disgusting violence.

How can a Sikh join a movement that is based upon the hatred of every Muslim around? I hate Muslim extremists with a passion and have fought with them in the past, but the blind hatred of an entire group is something no Sikh should ever join and literally throws mud on our great values. What of the great Sufi Muslims who were the companions of our masters? They also believed in the same Allah. Anyhow let's just suppose for one minute that this group is "safe" for us to join. Once they have got rid of the Muslims or scared then into submission, what guarantee is there they they won't turn on us? Having read the views of many of them, they are just going along with this whole "bring the other Asians on board" stuff to accomplish an objective.
