you get naam dridh in every amrit sanchaar: the implanation of NAAM inside you. AKJ only offer a different method of simran which if you find some of the gupt mahapursh in Punjab anyway, namely one in rara sahib, i can not remember his name.. They will, when asking you how you should do simran as you have lack of concentration, also give you a similar style to that akj give. Naam Dhridh is implantation of naam into ones body when taking amrit, apologies but i would have thought every amrit sanchaar would give you this, they may not tell you a particular style of doing simran, but would atleast put naam inside you when giving you amrit. That doesnt mean breath in, "wa" mis out the "he" then slur out "grr" again mising the 2 u's. IT MEANS, doing Simran, repeating Waheguru on each breath. Ie, breath in, breath out, say waheguru. Or, if you want to, breath in with va, hold the he breath out guru. funnily enough... our good friend niddar also shows that particular style.. jus gupt tho, (as in you say in your mind, you dont need to do out loud). Further one, we got shown in india, was breath in, breath out - say "Wa", breath in, "he" breath out - say "guru". If we all understand simple things of what it means to do simran and what naam is, we will not get confused and run here there and everywhere because someone tells us you only get naam from certain places. Think about it, if AKJ are the only ones to giv naam, then for the 200 something yrs before it started, who gave naam then? Bhai Sahib put effort into keeping Sikhi and maryada in place, he follows the line of those Gursikhs who sacrificed what they had to protect maharaj and his house. THIS is a duty WE as SIKHS are ALL meant to be doing but we are not. Funnily enough we never used to make the R4G protests when beadbi was being done then slowly slowly there has been an increase in numbers, but unfortunatly, at these protests now, the newer members prefer to take a new approach which can at times cause risk when communication with the police breaks down. This is for discussion another day and time.. Back to the point.. There is an £8000 fine to be paid off. £7500 in damages and £500 in court charges. WHERE ARE THE SIKHS NOW. I guarentee you, if this was a muslim who had to pay this fine off, it would be paid in hours or it being release by their community. lets set the scenario.. Muslim extremist stops disrepect to Mosque after discovering alcohol and non-halal meat being served on the premisis. He, and "x amount" of youth stormed the mosque and stoped this activity in a celebration of eid. He now faces £7500 fine and £500 court fees charge. This is the islamic version to what happened in leamington on 12th november. A Benti would go out to the community to help pay this fine. Would be paid instantly. WE as SIKHS! the people GURU GOBIND SINGH gave SUCH a HIGH Status! as Khalsa, cnt even help out own. Yet in his days (in human form) people from ALL religions would come to his darbaar and ask for help. The hindus came to his father, Guru Teghbahadur Ji for help against the muslims. Did he help? YES. He sacrificed his life. When Guru Ji's head was taken off and an announcement does any sikh come forward to claim the head of their Guru, NO1 stepped forward (from the sikhs). By maharajs Kirpa, a brother from a different belief took the head and bought it to Guru Gobind Singh. This seems the same now.. except we dont have any outside assistance from another religion. Guru Ji blesses us with so much, we take it all for granted. Seriously. He gives us everything we have yet we cant spare a little for him. The seva Bhai sahib did was a Good Seva, despite what people think. What ever happend on the day was the will of Akaal Purakh, as ardaas was done before, so who are we to judge? Nobody. Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the founder of the KHALSA, gives KHALSA a VERY high status, we do not deserve that same air to breath as the Khalsa does coz we are so crap in our sikhi compared to them. After Guru Ji moved on and Joti Jot passed to Guru Granth Sahib Ji, the Khalsa were his roop. They were the ones EVERYONE could turn to when they needed help. Now, no1 can turn to the khalsa for help because there isnt ne left.. Not Khalsa, jus wona be's. As Sikhs of the Guru, we should be willing to HELP everyone, yet we cant even help our own. Such a sad state of affairs yet we expect Guru Ji to help us in everything we do. No point in asking, we cant even help anyone, why should he help us? Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.

Fateh Ji, Further to this.. there is a piece of software called airsnort... this is a brilliant tool for cracking WEP secure systems. Its a VERY tricky piece of software to use by the way.. May I SUGGEST to all sangat on here, if u use WEP, switch it to WPA encryption, else some cheecky person cud be sitting outside your house in a car using your net connection. I ONLY know this as one of my trainers is an MCP in "ethicial hacking", in otherwords.. He is paid to hack for testing purposes to help secure networks... WJKK WJKF.

and why not? 3 gursikhs die, and you can only think of how another one is doing something wrong when clearly just doing his own simran/bani while drying his kesh. if you take that as a bad thing, take it that way. just keep views to yourself and not make a mountain out of something which isnt even a mole hill. if you japped naam, or even read 1/10 of the bani he reads, you mite be lucky enough for maharaj to bless you with the brain to realise, people WASH there hair as part of REHIT and while its drying, they put a towel on the haid unles akj and put keski on due to their rehit. Its a COMMON thing in india for this practice. if you dont agree, then your choice. if you have strong views, go to baba jis dera and speak to him about it, not comment on a forum which does nothing but nindiya.

I was told Adi Granth Sahib Ji (compiled by Guru Arjan Dev Ji) is located in Harmandir Sahib. On the right of the Akaal Takth (in the litle tower shaped building, think you have to go in n then walk down the stairs if my memory is correct...)

You not tried your local Gurdwara? Where abouts in the UK are you from? Most of the Gurdwaras i have been to here, have a shop and you can pretty much get anything you want from there!! Failing that, just go to DTF website and they can supply you with pretty much everything you need.. (might cost a bit, but you get what you want)

Does your local Gurdwara have the marriage centre thing? I know my local one does lol. I dont know how many others do to?

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Sangat Ji A Benti, A few Singhs are trying to document the names of all the shaheeds in our history and if possible, a little bit about each one. We have looked on the net and there is nothing really dedicated to this seva. A Singh is in the progress of making a calander for next yr, with this information on it so each day we can remember and learn who gave shaheedi. This is a project he has been wanting to do for a long time but never had the "go" to do it. Having now realised he wants to do this seva, i want to help him as much as i can therefore am asking for you help to complete what i think is a brilliant project. Please sangat ji, can you help in this by posting the names and the dates of shaheeds, like the month and if possible, the date also. This is not just for modern shaheeds such as those from 84, but those after. There are many shaheeds before this time to, we want their names and details, therefore please can you all help and email them and post them on this forum... Hopefully admin will make this a sticky? From what i know, to become nihang, first of all, you need to really clock the bani and simran, and i mean properly, when i spent time with these guys, they knew so much and i mean LOTS AND LOTS!! the Katha these guys would give is outstanding and the way they read bani is amazing! so you need to be doing that. A nihang is also without hankar, so u need to do work on that aswel as controling the rest of the panj chor. u can go to where they live but doesnt mean u become one, they wont just accept you, u have to earn their trust. they prob wud turn u away coz if u want to fight for sikhi and are willing to die for it, then shudnt you be amritdhari? as in when you take amrit you give your head to maharaj and promise to die for him protecting sikhi and others. If you can not pledge this with Guru Ji, how can you fight for Sikhi? So yeh, guess they would turn you away.. Well not turn you away but say to you to take amrit neway.. If any of my responses are incorect then forgive me, i can only offer the advice that i have picked up since i have spent time with Singhs therefore it may not be accurate. WJKK WJKF

You say it in your own signature, rahet pyari mujh ko, Sikh pyara nahe The Sikh discipline is more valuable to me than a so called Sikh who has no rehat. Anyone can "give their head" now days, just go any amritsanchar in the uk, or failing that just go to sgpc. Guru Ji cares for the Rehit, if your rehit is pukha and good, then you are considered his Sikh.
