Pakistan has 5% minorities, about 3 million Christian & 2 million Hindus. The only district that has a non Muslim majority in Pakistan is the district where Bhai Jagjit Singh was attacked. The district is 51% Hindu. Other nearby districts include Umerkot (43% Hindu) etc. Just like most Pakistani Sikhs live in NWFP, most Christians live in Punjab and Hindus in Sindh. If you don't believe me, I can PM you his number.

As you know a Sikh in southern Pakistan was attacked by a Brahman mob. Gutkas were thrown out, he was badly trashed and humiliated. He and his family were thrown out. A poster suggested Why not setup a fund of SikhSangat to help this brother in need. He has been a Sikh for more than 6 years and despite economical hardships did not ask for any help. Even now it is only after this murderous attack on the Singh that we decided to get some funds to help him fight his case and setup a small time business in some area with more Sikhs (we have thought about Panja Sahib for time being - there are no Sikhs at all in the surrounding 10 districts he is living in). Two of us sevadaars have put in some personal maya and collected some and we have nearly 1400$ (120,000 rs in Pak). If more help could be raised it would be great. The Singh is trying his best to get justice but nobody is listening, we have got to help him, before he is forced to leave Sikhi. When Sikhs in Punjab embrace Christianity we cry, but we don't help at time either. Its at such times that Christian missionaries jump in. Besides that, the Singh has promised to help fellow poor Sikhs once his business is setup. Don't mind, but we have issues before wanting Khalistan. We got to help our Shaheedi parivaars. 73% drug addicts of Punjab. 80% Monas of Punjab. Female foeticide, aids and cancer problems need to be adressed. These Jehovas got their booklets (Watchtower) in over 400 languages. I have often been visited by these people, and yes they are very cunning. I agree that we should make a documentary, but will the poor Sikhs that got no medicine and education listen to that? Khalsa Aid has a video of a Nihang (you can question the level of his faith in Sikhi though) converting to Christanity simply because they paid for his medication expenses. Awareness is needed but helping the weaker sections of society is necessary. Half of these poor people start going to deras and others become Christians. Therefore we shouldn't donate to SGPC but open Khalsa schools and Khalsa clinics throughout Punjab (atleast 1 per district to start, then 1 per tehsil). If SGPC even used 5% of the yearly donations we would have 1 Khalsa school per district of Punjab.

Doesn't change the fact that we have to help poorer Sikhs, stop filling corrupts SGPC/DSGMC pockets. British had very little succes in our Punjab, in 100 years they could only make 1.5% Christians. In Pak Punjab about 3%. But now, their numbers have tripled in the past 10 years, and it is not only due to the dramas enacted by these pastors. It is also due to continous discrimination by Sikhs, our failure to leave the caste system behind. Our inability to help our brethren in need. I wonder why the following was never implemented in Punjab: More than 5 Indian states have issued such laws to prevent Hindus from converting to Islam and Christanity, but our Akalis are still sleeping.
