  1. The 4 yugas are like the 4 seasons : winter, spring, summer and autumn. These yugas are cyclical. While the Truth you refer, manifested or "pargat" in Saints and Gursikhs, exist within each and everyone one of us, irrespective of any yugas ... This Primal, Changeless, Eternal and Supreme Truth, namely Wahiguru Akal Purukh, exist within each one of us, and our Guru Sahiban, and Gursikhs, are a living example to us, of how to connect with Him within, and become one with Him, thus fulfill the purpose of our lives. Sat Sree Akal.
  2. Brother, the ultimate Truth is not Satyug, as Satyug also has and end, after that, the remaining 3 yugas come. In Satyug, karmas, mind, maya exist; in Sach Khand, none of these. Maybe you wanted to say Sach Khand, then yes, that is the ultimate changeless plane /khand, level of consciousness, and there as the bani says: Sach Khand vaseh Nirankar. So as Nirankar, Satnam, Wahiguru Akal Purukh is eternal, changeless, sizeless, thus is so only, His abode Sach Khand. Rest is all paraphernalia. Sat Sree Akal.

  7. All I can say it is useless to talk with you... Whatever you have said above are lies product of your mental menstruation You don ' t even know what Gurbani or Gurmat is, as you have a natural allergy to Universal Truth (Satnam), howsoever you continue misusing Gurbani / Gurmat to adjust it to your corrupted thinking. But sadly, you, due to your wickedness you do not profit anything from it for your spiritual uplift... The day you become honest, since that day you will surely benefit yourself from the immense kirpa from Gurbani. Sat Sree Akal
  8. Congrats Mr Doaba Jee, according to your beautful post above, with which I agree 100%, plus I could say, that at last, there is someone with common sense and truthful to Gurmat. Once again, hats off Brother!!! What I have seen here is, times are changing, so is the mentality of the newer generations, though more or less they are on Gurmat, but are somehow rebels, stubborn... I really can not understand, how most of us come daily and spend sometime here apparently amicably, and still, at the least chance we spit fire, without giving a second chance, that their words, may hurt or be painful to others .... I can not understand, how can people change their behaviour just like that ....from east to west, really disturbing and not understandable. Referring to Brother Singhbj Singh, from his posts since he is member here, I can say he is a coolest and most peaceful person which can be found here... I really feel sorry for him, being abused so mercilessly .... Let us ask ourselves, has he sudeenly forgotten all his manners or virtues displyed in his posts till now? After all what was his crime, if any? I only saw goodness, and he has been offended for it. Shame on all of them. Sometimes this place is worse than a mad house. All attacking at a time to someone or the other. That too, what for? It is very unpleasant to see, how some can change their behaviour to the extremes, almost as fanatics... getting trapped in krodh, and spreading uneasiness/ashanti. Let us widen the horizons of our minds, and stop blaming and accusing others for our own pettiness Why can not we intercat with each other with respect and decency without loosing our mental balance? It is like a castle of cards, one card looses its balance, all others follow blindly and fall on the ground.... Remember, no matter how much we may say, we are sikhs, we are this or that, if we have no mercy or kindness in our hearts towards others, we shall never be able to walk on the beautiful and unique path of Sikee. God is love, and unless we learn to love and plant the virtues of mercy, of forgiveness and tolerance, we can never be able do His chintan/His Dhyan. Only those pure of hearts and minds, (it is a state of avastha of purity, of goodness), can tread the path of Gurmat. Jin prem kiyo, tinhee Prabh paayo. Sat Sree Akal.
  9. Brother, who can ever do anything by his/her own wishes? In the title of this thread, you say why some go to pakhandi babas.... which in the end means, they are astray. But then,I would say, not some only, but a vast majority as well. As per why so? Well, the Gurbani clearly says: ਭੂਲੇ ਮਾਰਗੁ ਜਿਨਹਿ ਬਤਾਇਆ ॥ Bhoolae Maarag Jinehi Bathaaeiaa || भूले मारगु जिनहि बताइआ ॥ He places the one who strays back on the Path; Such a Guru is found by great good fortune. ||1|| Means, only those worship Guru Jee, who are wadbhagee / with good fortune right from birth, it is in their destiny to have love and faith in Guru Jee; the remaining jeevas, have no options, but to remain astray, as per Hukum. I would never condem those who know nothing of Gurmat, but I would feel pity for them, while they look alike any of us, but have not got the chance like some of the wadhbagee jeevas/atmas, to get out of chaurasse ka chakar, once again, not by their own will, though they may think so, but because of the apaar kirpa on them, by Wahiguru Akal Purukh. Sat Sree Akal.

  11. THE TONGUE If a "tongue" gets hurt, it gets healed in due time but any hurt caused by the "tongue", never gets healed.
  12. ATTITUDE Who will work in my absence? Sun asked the entire world during sunset. Everyone remanied silent, but the Diya whispered : Will try my level best. It is not the Size.... but the attitude that shines.
  13. Simran Pen Jee, I am in no way supporting the rakhee ptactice. I am just saying that if a mother becomes happy by it, one should do ot, as by it we do not become anything less or change ourselves, on the contrary , it is done to please none other, but one's mother, who is believed to be another form of god in action. The relation between a mother and her child, is not comparable to any other anywhere, as it ia relation of selfless love and sacrifices.... So that is it. I was just highlighting the importance of a mother or a parent. Sat Sree Akal
  14. Brother Thanatos, my advice is that we should keep harmony in the family at any cost, even if we have to adjust something. You see no 2 people have necessary the same views. Other thing is, if a mother wants to make one eat something which is really disliked by us. Bur coming to the terms of a mother/parents, we have all heard that parents are gods for their children, not literally, but after God, they are our everything. They love us the most. This many will only realize, when they themselves become parents one day... If I was in your case, and I knew that, this tradition makes her happy, I would tell my sister to put me not one, but even 10, if needed .... You see, now young we may not realize, but maybe tomorrow when she would not be here, you may regret not making her happy with this simple petition of hers.... You see, to make happy one.s parents any of them, has no price in the three "lokas". I agree, this tradition has no spiritual value, but, what lies behind it, is the concept of a bond of love between a brother and a sister, nothing more, it is just that, a reminder, for children/youngsters, so that they carry on with that healthy loving bond, even when, they, our parents are no more tomorrow... Sat Sree Akal.
  15. My God, such a fantastic Shabad. Wah wah. Thank you Jee.
  16. Verily True Agreed totaly. As both, my sister and brother have said above, it is all upon His Grace or Gurparsad; but we should always keep in mind, we as pauppers, can evoke that His Grace. And His Grace, is not evoked by mere words, nor any outer rituals, be them of any types, but, only by doing His real bhakti, which is none other than the Simran of His paviter Naam. And this anyone can do, man, woman, young, old... one has not be of any particular class; but only purity of mind, and intense love for His Lotus Feet is required. At first, it may seem as hard as chewing iron, but with practice and regularity, we start getting the "rus" of that true Amrit, none other than His Divine Name or Naam. This is the only weapon, which if used accordingly, can defeat the mind. Why? Because, it is the only reality beyond the mental spheres, from Dhur Dhaam, all other methods are under the laws established by this very mind. Sat Sree Akal.
  17. Neither do they fight, nor kill anybody. Neither their deites mentioned in them fight among each other to put forward their superiority above others. it is the foolish and brainwashed stupid humans who commit such atrocities. Though it may seem funny to some, but, has anyone come to see if the gods mentioned in them, have fought or slaughtered the other gods of the other dharams ... So, if they being far superior to the humans, do not go the skies or abodes of the other gods to defeat and conquer them, what the hell these stupid fanatics are doing then... If the disputes among us are created by these petty gods, then they are not worthy of our devotion .... because they are much filled with greed and the poison of krodh; then too, many call them big/great .... Hell with them, and hell who distort the real teachings and create havoc in the mankind, as demons, or even worse then demons ... Why the hell will I ever call any such god big, if by just naming him, I am impulsed to commit the most heinous crimes against humanity. God, is only that Supreme Being, by whose rememberance alone, all my agyanta, all my vikaars, all my negativity, vanish away, just as the darkness in the inmense sky, is driven away with a ray of light of the Sun. So is beloved Wahiguru Akal Purukh, by whose just repetition of His sacred Name, all our stained vikaars, are washed away forever, without having to commit any harm on anyone to subdue them... it is the devil of minds within, who get sanctified with His apaar Kirpa, thus we turn from being stupid agaynee, ahankaree manmukhs, into Gurmukhs. This is the most substantial difference for which, in case if I was not a sikh, I will never ever doubt in becoming one, because it gives me, that what spirituality is all about. There is no comparison, at least for me, between Guramt, and any other dharams, which I deeply respect, not because of anything, but because after going throughly them, is the only path, which offers me the union with the Supreme Being, not with promises after death, but, in this very present life, by first becoming pure in mind, speech and deed. And all this is nothing extraordinary of one´s chaturaee, but simply of His beaant wadeeayee. Sat Sree Akal.
  18. Hats off Bro to this your post above. Thank you very very much.
  19. So True On a book store shelf, lie holy books of different religions full of "knowledge" . They never quarrel with each other. While those who fight in their names, are those who have never realized, what they tell all to seek and realize.
  20. A reflection on God´s love At the begining I was mistaken in 4 respects - I concerned myself to remember God, to know Him, to love Him, and to seek Him. At the end, I saw that: God had remembered me; His knowledge of me, preceded mine of Him, His love had come before mine; and He had sought me before I had sought Him. Bayazid (Persian sufi mystic 804-874) * This only shows, the inmensity of Wahiguru´s Hukum, whatever love or devotion we offer Him, is much due to His Grace upon us, rather than our own petty merits. Sat Sree Akal.
  21. REALITY OF LIFE The body goes in a moment but we don´t believe it A ripple on water - this is the world A mirage of water is not water, the shadow of a cloud gives no rain. A statue of salt dissolves in water - this body is dying, while you look at it, says Eknath
  22. Guest Singh Jee, all actions are seeds planted, which can not be uprooted just like that. Each one will give its fruits at its due time. There is no such thing to compensate one karma for another. All karmas are deeply engraved on our minds, which get cut off only by going through them. But yes, there is a way, blessed on us by Wahiguru, to wash any karmas of ours. And that way, is to get the Gurparsad of His unlimited Grace, which washes the most darkest or heavy karmas. And to get that Gurparsad, we have to do something which He most likes and expects from us, which is we unconditionally loving Him. And loving Him, means, doing His Bhakti through His Simran. The Bani tells us: Prabh Ka Simran, man kee mael jaae. Prabh ka Simran, garbh na baseh. He has kept all the options before us, not it is for us, to decide what we want. He Himself, or His daat of mayavee creation ... Sat Sree Akal.
  23. To stay in His Bhaana, His Hukum, is the ideal. But then too, it is very difficult. Do not get me wrong. Difficult in the sense, that, if we are not good at heart first, in mind and deeds, we can not stay in His Hukum. Why? Because, to stay in His Hukum is only possible by being pure. Let us see it in this way. Suppose, we have a dirty vessel, we can not pour milk into it, until we first wash it and make it clean, otherwise the milk will get spoiled. The base of all spirituality is goodness, saintly virtues, such as humility, tolerance, and forgiveness; we may say, we are this or that, we do this or that, but that will be only confined to the limitations of our mouths. The thing is, to stay in His Bhana, is possible only by getting closer to Him, understand what He wants us to do, which is only by doing His real bhakti. For example Fifth Patshahee, is a vivid example for us, or even the Guru Sahibans, or Bhagat Jan, of the real beings, who knew and understood Him, thus were able to remain in His Bhana, otherwise, it is just a mental concept for the most of us. Sat Sree Akal.
