what is a baba? someone who prays and preaches the messages of our Gurus? sounds like a gyani only they don't sit in one place or Gurdwara or commity. If you are against the babas then you must be against the gyanis. Randip Singh if you came to preach at a Gurdwara we might have what 100 200 or 300 people there if you advertised a lot. when a gyani or baba of high avastha is coming we have much much more sangat than you and your friends could ever convince to come to the Gurdwara. and last but not least, are you Amritdhari? let me ask you another way: have you given your head to the Guru?

I think you missed the point here. The sangat does have faith in Guru Ji. Everyone else branches out from there. Why are you having digestion problems if we respect sants and yet have faith in God and Guru Ji?

I always believe in an eye for an eye else the criminals would have sight and the innocent will not. Makes the world a less safe place compared to everyone being blind.

If Guru Nanak Dev Ji's teachings come from God and Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji are the jyot of the ten Guru Jis then why are we asking this question? Would it not be better to ask first who is the Guru of Guru Nanak Dev Ji? Or does that not need to be asked.

worshipping Shaheeds would be wrong. perhaps even to ask for their help would be wrong as Guru Ji is the one who can help us. But to deny Shaheed Singhs exist and do help Sikhs would be wrong as well. If they have merged with Akaal Purakh then it is entirely possible that they are sent to help Sikhs by Akaal Purakh. How about we have faith in Guru Ji but not deny that the Shaheeds come to help us.

so Mand isn't following maryada but let me tell you that a Gurdwara should be run in accordance with maryada in which case Mand should keep out. Mand Maryada will not do, Rehit Maryada is what we want to follow. You go create your modern sikhi and we will continue to be the sikhs that we are. If we are talking about the picture of Guru Ji that is still in the post then I strongly disagree. No one has the right to tell another Sikh whether or not he can have a pic of Guru Ji in their post. That is a picture of Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji as some people believe they looked in human form. It has not been banned in any way and there are many oher pictures of the Gurus so please keep the picture.

As far as I am aware people used to have Nagar Kirtans where they simply sung kirtan through the pind and collected sewa at the same time and passed by on streets so people who didn't attend Gurdwara Sahib may also be fortuante to listen to kirtan. If anyone knows of the 'real' reason then ignore this one.
