  1. People get this position with Guru Ji's hukam and not by some mistake!!
  2. Why do women give their no. to a gyani? There is no need for it. If you have or haven't but he is still trying something, tell someone you trust, the main person is your mum. Also be strong, tell him you will get him deported if he carries on like that with any person.
  3. Going to a pub from a Rehnsabhai is as bad as going to a party straight after visiting Gurdwara. Is it that bad if you do not drink?
  4. Then become a member, its not difficult.
  5. Militant singh you do not really believe that hanging out with a smoker makes you a smoker do you? The boy is young and he might have done this under the influence of his friends and maybe he saw no harm in it so better for someone who keeps in touch with him (Militant Singh maybe) to call him and tell him that what he did was frowned upon by some of youth.
  6. Agreed as Baba Nand Singh Ji also said Guru Ji come and eat prashad made with complete love. Sometimes people treat Guru Gobind Singh Ji as Guru Ji and Guru Granth Sahib Ji as, well as a book that cannot eat and do bhog or accept the food.
  7. Sant mat, sometimes you may be asked out by someone without giving that person the idea that you liked that person. Boy meets world comes to mind. Sometimes a person is only being friendly to the girl and she has got the wrong idea and that's not his fault.
  8. Forgive me for calling you a fool but I cant help but speak the truth. How do you know who is a Sant? So Sant Baba Isher Singh Rara Sahib is being criticised because of expensive perfume. When did he call himself a Sant, when did any of the Sants call themselves a Sant? When a person knows nothing it is best he does not make a contribution to a thread, you my friend know nothing,, so best to fight that urge to type. Since when did you become the MAN in Sikhi to hand out certificates? People earn the title Sant, you have not, stop sulking and get over it. Do some research on Sant Isher Singh Ji Rara Sahib, talk to the people he helped, the people he influenced, the Sikhi he practiced and then try to talk, til then don't, til then hold on tight, I know its hard to not do nindya when the soul so needs it. I gave you the example of Raja Janak Ji and his Rani, you ignored that. If you had not then your post would have been different. Raja Janak did not avoid the expensive clothes etc nor did his Rani yet we all know about that story, right?
  9. SANT ISHAR SINGH, I ramember the one with EXPENSIVE PERFUMES. Yes and what?? Why should it matter to you. It might be hard for your brain to figure this out but one does not become a bad sikh for spending some money on himself or letting others buy them nice presents. STOP TELLING OTHER PEOPLE WHAT TO DO. Is it not Raja Janak Ji and their Rani that wore expensive items but are still written about with so much respect because they both had so much love for Akal Purakh waheguru. This is beyond a joke now, take off your trousers and give them away to other that are cold before you go on about anyone else. As for sants claiming a higher positions, I believe sants claim no position, they do not ask anyone to visit them, they do not ask anyone to listen to them, they respect your choice andmaybe you lot need to respect their choice. Where in bani is expensive perfume the evil of mankind. You people are ridiculous, collect stamps, anything, get yourself a hobby and maybe you wont waste so much time nit picking where there are no nits.
  10. don't know to say that! Why does a human give more important to the tongue compared to the soul, if the soul listens to bani but does not understand the bani that only means that he cannot practice what he hears but why should it mean he does not get the fruit for listening.
  11. great but why is someone encouraging a fight? Damdami Taksal-whats that all about?
  12. don't ask questions. it's wrong to have expensive cars and no one knows why it's wrong but it's wrong and because it's wrong you can not ask why it is wrong. So please do not say it's not wrong. My reply makes as much sense as some other replies on this forum. Hint to topic starter.
  13. I'm asking the topic starter to also do the same before he points fingers at others who do not give all their earnings to those in need. I want you to start by example!!!!!!!!!
  14. Should he walk around with only a kachcherra now to give that money spent on a new pyjama on the poor. How far should this Baba take thing and you, why don't you sell your assets to give to the poor. He is not collecting money for others sikhs unless he says otherwise. He preaches, they pay. Thats it.
  15. Yes- we need some information on the net to sort this out, if anyone knows about where this happened and who did it will they give some details. The net is too often used to let out our anger and then do nothing .
  16. Agreeing to disagree is ok with me. Of course sikhi is about questioning, asking how to become a better sikh. What Lionchild you are suggesting is that we question the Panj Pyares motives, I refuse to agree with that - it is not right. And I hope you will change your mind on that one. You or me are not worthy of choosing the Panj Pyare or testing them. Read the story of when Guru Ji passed the Gurgadhi on to the one that did not question them but continued to do as Guru Ji said. Questioning is to question what happens around us, I don't know if that means question Guru Ji once one becomes a Sikh?
  17. Is everyone over the beadhbi now? Good. So my next question, why do you all complain that no one does anything when Guru Ji's beadhbi happens because we are part of that group
  18. What happened when they brought Guru Ji in a suitcase? has any action been taken against those who did something so disgusting.
  19. Well if they told you not to kill a black cow, or bow down to chairs, woudl you follow it anyways even if it's not in sikhi. And just do it out of respect? no. the problem with the sikh community is that it is so easy to label a new ritual with "respecting the guru" it's higher people that do this that twist sikhi, and the average sikhi just accepts it because they are sants or something. Well people need to get out of that way and just follow directly from the guru. that fact that you mention this, is the comman feeling - must not question anything and accept as is. I disagree. The Panj ARE actually Guru Ji. In the Panj Pyare resides Guru Ji- can one question Guru Ji- no not a sikh . Think about it- the ones that become the Panj Pyare at Anandpur Sahib 1699 were the Panj Singhs that did not question Guru Ji. Would you not have sat there that day and thought ''what is Guru Ji thinking, surely this is not correct to allow Guru Ji to cut my head now, no I will ask Guru Ji how he can even dream of asking me to volunteer''. It's wrong to question the Panj Pyare with the idea that they are wrong, but I would understand if you questioned them to ask them what you did not understand as opposed to challenging them. Calm down and stop going off on one.The Panj Pyare are no 'ordinary' people WHEN they wear the chola and take on that roop.Once out of the Amrit Sanchar that's another story. And MAX maybe you have seen so called sikhs disrespect but you are no better. The reason they are called Guru Nanak Dev Ji is to show them respect in every way. Yes Nanak is their name at birth but Gobind Rai was Guru Gobind Singh Ji's name but everything changed with time and with time their name alsod changed. It would be disrespectful for you to call your elders by only their first name such as Kate or John. Better to call them Aunt Kate and Uncle John. Guru Ji are worth more than them and it's not too much to ask for you to show that respect on a SIKH SITE. Thank you.
