  1. people should just be honest. we aint brahm gyaanis or nething. people go around saying "looks dont matter to me"... but then they do or say something to contradict it! Looks can be taken in away in an instant. But so can everything else about a person. The trick is getting married without attachment....... in this day n age, thats very very rare. We all have criteria for a perfect partner. Thats not a bad thing. Maharaj has gifted us with our own individuality... our own minds, our own souls and if God wanted us to all be the same, He has the power to have done and do so.
  2. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/cumbria/5375040.stm Three bodies recovered from lake The bodies of three youths have been recovered from Ullswater in the Lake District, police said. The three, aged 15, 17 and 21 and from the West Midlands, were among a group enjoying a swim when one of them got out of their depth. Another 15-year-old boy had to be pulled to safety during the incident at about 1600 BST on Saturday. Police said conditions were reasonably calm, but there were deep areas and the water was very cold. They said they were contacting the families of those who died before releasing any more information. A Cumbria Police spokesman said: "Police have now recovered the three bodies of the males who went missing in Ullswater lake. "We are in the process of contacting the deceased males' families and updating them regarding the circumstances of the drowning. "No details will be released until all family members have been informed regarding this tragic incident." 'Extremely cold' Members of the public and a lake warden went to help when the alarm was raised, and managed to rescue the 15-year-old boy. He was taken to hospital, where his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening. Searches by the coastguard, a helicopter and police and civilian divers were carried out overnight. Police said the boys were part of a group staying in Glenridding, a village overlooking Ullswater. Insp Sean Murphy, from Cumbria Police, said: "I think the lake was reasonably calm. "Unfortunately it does have deep areas and shelving and the water is extremely cold so it's all speculation at the moment but I am assuming that someone has gone too deep and they have got cold and been unable to swim."
  3. It is with great sadness to inform the sangat online that three young Gursikhs aged 15, 17 and 21 have drowned in the Lake District. They went to a Sikh Gatka Demonstration where they were swimming in the lake. One boy got in trouble and three youths went to aid him. However, one survived, three others drowned. Please do ardaas for these great great kids...
  4. oh right. well them idiots need educating that they should not be smoking on Gurdwara premises. Remind be again... WHY DO WE HAVE COMMITEES? They should have been there protecting the Gurdwara premises and making sure no one is smoking there. They can spend stupid amounts of money on stuff thats not really needed, but come to putting up clear multi-lingual signs about Gurdwara maryadha, and thats too much for them to do. Anyway, Guru Jee's saroop was not in the car park so chill. And dont give me that stuff about "oh the sangat own it"... coz end of the day, nothing is ours. The whole land is Guru Jee's. We are like aliens visiting here. If anyone knows the name of the movie being filmed let me know
  5. hmmm.... the same Gurdwara where Nidhaar Singh teaches Shaster Vidhiya huh? A few AKJ goers whinged a couple of years back when a Gursikh had his wedding there... ah well, if u cant beat em ... :umm:
  6. oh dont go there. thats one thing that annoys me: Keertani come and you have audio recordings straight up Katha vajaks who do some wkd proper parchaar come, and no one gets to hear it. i dont think there was katha put up online of Giani Jee but i may be wrong.
  7. ooooh HIPPY BIRTHDAY GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG! :umm:
  8. true say... where have those nindhaks gone? Where have those rival camp people got to now? And i am not talking about Khalsa Camp. Khalsa Camp is at the top of its league, and may Guru Jee continue to shower kirpa on such a brilliant camp. I would also like to take this opportunity to plea with Sikh Student camp not to let people like Bob, Kamalroop and the rest of em, in again, as THEY WERE THE PEOPLE BRINGING YOU DOWN. Look at the cause of why people were so narked off with the camp... it was due to them types. Your best off without them. If they reform and prove it, then thats a different story. Give them a chance by letting them attend the camp only, keep security on them, and dont give them any authority at all. And definitely dont let people like Satnam ("Sat Lee") in there who think its fine to blatently get drunk, rowdy, eat meat and think its ok for a "Singh" to be a 'playa'. You see how well you have done by not letting these idiotic jokers into the camp? A lot better. A lot better feedback. More respect. In the future, you will see that respect, that feedback, get a lot better if you stick with the line of taking action against people that are going to bring you down. I can also tell from the videos, people had a real good fun time too, which is something Sikh Stu camp prides itself on and is visible in its advertising etc, so nothing is lost, and all is gained. JO BOLAI SO NIHAAL... SATT SIRI AKAAAAAAAL!
  9. - Jag Singh - GuruKaSinghHeres the whole set : http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=sevasingh
  10. thats not very nice.. although very true.
  11. Coz ure a paapi and Maharaj didnt give you the gunn to think of such a clever idea!! Can i just say that i miss Kandola  Where has he got too? Also, Ranz_Killa??... wheres he got to? Oh and just another thing - i really enjoyed Karan Johars new flicckkkk Kabhi Alvidha Na Kehna. Im gonna get blasted for that but oh well... here it goes. Im not a regular Bollywood-goer at all, but watch movies made by Karan Johar and SLB. *shock*horror* :umm:
  12. Well said. The fact is, people who do talk a lot of talk know where so-called "nangs" live and even hangout in the dark hours... but still, they dont go down to their house or take action! I say put up or just sit down on your butt and shut up.
  13. If people want to have the whole setup cleaned etc, then thats their choice if they wish to spend the time, money and effort in doing that. As for the metal suitcase, good point... or is it? I would say the best way to protect my most valuable assets is to lock them away in a fireproof, bulletproof case so nothing can break or harm them at all, be it fire or bullets or any type of weapons. So just wondering now... would you not want to protect your Guru Jee the best you can? I would jump in the path of a bullet for my Guru. But what about the next bullet? And i am not fireproof. Im not saying that that metal case them guys used was appropriate... but i feel likes its ourselves we should question. When i first saw that, i was like "whoa, how would Guru Jee have breathed in such a confined, dark case." But then I remembered... why was i worried? My Guru can survive ANYTHING! My Guru is beyond this world. My Guru is beyond light and dark. My Guru is even beyond breathing! They dont call Him 'Eternal' for nothing do they?! I hear the way people talk and read what people say about this situation and in my mind im thinking "these people dont really TRULY believe in Maharaj and His eternal presence in this world." Sorry if i offend.
  14. Man, im still not sure on this whole issue here. Because I see this world as one and every iota or every bit of land and water belonging to the Almighty (no, not Bush, im talking about God) And i dont see how this "if its on the same 'premises' things works." Im not making a point here, just looking for some education on it. If lets say, a section of this hotel was reserved for the wedding where there is no meat or alcohol being served for the entire day, and it was all proper cleaned up for the arrival of Guru Jee... is that totally unacceptable? Also, its been discussed before that "oh no, they had meat sharaab at this hall which shares same wall as the Gurdwara!"... but i know 2 Gurdwaras just off the top of my head - one which is connected to a CASINO and NIGHTCLUB, and one which is connected to houses in a terrace... so whats the ruling on that? When Guru Jee is taken to houses, what the hell do we know what their neighbours are doing?! You go on about "premises"... but premises suggest that you care more about the law than Guru Jee because premises is a very legal term and suggests ownership of assets. But looking at Gurbani... Gurbani suggests God is the Ruler of every thing in this world.. every speck of dust. I would never wanna see beadbi of Guru Granth Sahib Jee. But Guru Jee is the knower of all. Guru Jee knows what goes on in the world, more than us. So if we want to stop Beadbi of Maharaj, we should not theoretically, have as many saroops of Guru Jee as we do have in the world as this whole world is polluted and going up in flames. You cant escape the flames wherever you take Guru Jee, even in a Gurdwara. NO one, however, should enter Guru Jee's physical emodiement, which is Guru Granth Sahib Jee, under the influence of drugs, alcohol or having eaten meat. We can control what goes on in that room where Guru Jee is present or the immediate area which can see Guru Jee's saroop. Beyond that, you would have to control the entire world to stop the beadbi... Forgive me if ive said anything wrong... but im still not convinced.
  15. can you [and modz] watch your language please. as for Nidhaar Singh, he isnt actually at this camp - and he has open invitation as he wasnt banned. So dont class Sikh Student camp as a Nidhaar Singh administered camp. Im not a Nidhaar follower, and agree with sentiments expressed by many GurSikhs. But what makes me laugh are bwoys like you who are just all talk and no action. Lets face it... no one has really "sorted" Nidhaar Singh out have they? He still teaches at Gurdwara's does he not? So where is everyone?! Truth of matter is, a lot of people are all talk. They are the ones who only act when theres no danger of them getting smacked up. Be honest.
  16. we are so in danger of "militant-fying" the definition of a Sikh. There are people passionate about teaching others the true Sikh way of life, which i totally agree with. But non-Sikhs will call this something else. Unfortunately, blogs and forums do not help us one bit, although we think it does. Would it not be sooo great for someone to type in the word "sikh" into a search engine and not come accross all this internal bickering? Its just a shame, that for some people, its not a case of "True Sikh teachings come first"... its a case of "OUR camp must come first... and last." God Bless Us All...
  17. I dont know. Please do tell us Khalsa Fauj jee...! :TH:
  18. Raj Karega Khalsa The best country for the Sikhs is by faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar... Khalistan. And Khalistan is there wherever there is one who has won over his mind and conquered their vices. So i beg you all... to seek Khalistan as you're true and eternal homeland. Bhull chook maaph

    Hand Reading

Some of you lot jump the gun a bit too quickly. Guru Nanak Dev Jee never said that palm reading is a load of rubbish. What Guru Nanak Dev Jee said was that "dont waste your lives by living by it." Lines in your hand do define your future. Hindus believe that this is destiny and that whatever they do, they cannot change it. Guru Nanak Dev Jee told them this is wrong and your future, your destiny, depends on your karam... depends on your bhagti and if you do any. Ive seen it myself. Lines in your hand DO change, the more you become closer to God. Im not saying that from my own hands, but someone i know very very well. So the message is, your life... your destiny.. is in YOUR hands. This is what Guru Jee sought to teach the Hindus. Bhul chuk maaf
  20. It's a crime called 'Car J a c k i n g' usually they collide with your car from behind, forcing you to stop and they would at that stage steal your car. In this case they were after the money! -- trust YOU to know...
  21. The problem could be your routine. If you take cash every morning to a bank at 11am, eventually someone will clock on. But yeh, probably inside job. The fact these people ran into the guys car was probably part of the plan coz the guy who hired em was jealous the uncle-jee had a better car than himself! lol
  22. Put it this way: A Singh gets in the commitee. After a period of about 6-7 months, them mans are driving around in high performance cars and jeeps. Also buying new houses. To be fair, i believe the haalaat is better than it was 4-5 years back. I think Wolverhampton sangat are probably fearing the next commitee change though because the old-time dodgy la fangaaz will come back on the panel. They are the ones who jacked up the Gurdwaras new hall which still aint completed.
  23. VGKK VGKF I hear Gurdwara in Wolverhampton (Sedgley St) got robbed! Apparently, the treasurer was going to the bank on Monday morning 11am, when he was allegedly attacked and robbed of all of Sunday diwaans "donations" from the saadh sangat. Its a shame such things happen - especially when its peoples dasvandhs. I hope the robbers get what they deserve... a life of darkness and damnation. But what goes around, comes around. That Gurdwara has a nursery built in for extra income only and gets lottery funding which seems to get diluted down the lines... My suggestion to police is that if you are looking for culprits of yesterdays attack, please obtain the list of commitee members first and ask them all where they were between the hours of 11am and 12pm yesterday morning.
  24. Forget it now. The novelty has worn off. We dont ure email addy. We'd rather have Kumi on our MSN... and thats saying something.
  25. Yeah, but YOU'RE beneath my caste!! *Spits as he walks away* *EURGH* yuckkkkkkkk that landed in my soda bottle
