  4. Gur Fateh! Ok so basically, Im lonely in the sense that I cant get sangat anywhere. I know Maharaaj is always with me and when i go to GuruGhar I dont feel it at all. But the problem is i Live in a town where the Sikhs (the elderly and the youth) are more 'Sunday Sikhs' and turn up to the Gurudwara on a Sunday have lanagar and then go. It doesnt help with the fact that my family (parents and bro) are more 'punjabi' than Sikh and think im a bit crazy when i talk about Sikhi etc; and are more mixed (i can expand but its long) So i guess im asking is therte any Sikhs that I can talk to and build my Sikhi with etc ? It may sound weird but i know sangat mahaan hai ! Please inbox me or reply here Thanks for taking the time to read Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

  6. @gurpreet I've read a few of your posts and have tried really hard not to say anything. In the future please think before you post - whether your trying to be funny or not don't use Maharaaj Ji in it. It gets fairly annoying. To OP I guess different banis have different purposes - different emotionsthat are given to us at those specific times of the day (null)
  7. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Just though I'd Share an essay that i wrote in my previous year as a law student; concerning the right to self determination for minorties; closely looking at the onslaught of Sikhs. Also attached is a powerpoint that I lectured to my peers. IHR Assignment.docx Would love if fellow brothers and sisters would give their comments Fateh! Sorry PP wouldnt attach!

  9. How dare any of you judge the OP. What do you know about what he is going through. Everyone talks about panth Ekta, but we are the first to point the finger. Support others instead of making them feel lower than yourselves ! (null)
  10. It's good that this topic is being highlighted: however what baffles me is that it is always moneh Sikhs that are showing they are diehard khalistanis; like this guy is he in rehat? Is he a keshdhari? Any others think this? (null)
  11. WJKK WJKF! had problems with Sri Sahibs at Delhi airport, when they were screened we were asked why we had sharp objects in the bags, my dad had to explain that they were Sri Sahibs and that they were a ceremonial article of faith. In the end they let us through! (null)
  12. I've brought back a vaajaa and a tabla from India and didn't encounter any problems! Brought two Sri Sahibs too! Didn't have any problems at heathrow with them but did at Delhi! (null)
  13. Bro, don't trim your dhari! I was going through the same stuff at home, my parents kept telling me I looked messy and untidy etc, that I looked old, but all I remembered was that Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji gave me their look, their bakshish is Kesh! Just keep on remembering the kurbania the shaheeds have given for us so we can stand today with a joora on our head and a dhari on our face!I (null)

  20. Fateh Jee! I have written previous posts about keeping my beard and hope some Singh or Singhni can help me! My parents don't like the idea of me keeping my beard, three times in the last 8 months I have kept my beard and have cut it as a result of my parents dislike to it. Today I was about to cut it and I don't know I looked at the picture of Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji in my room, and I don't know I just couldn't do it. What can I do to stay strong??? Please help!!! If you wan to pm me its fine Fateh! (null)
