These "Gursikhs" you mention are driving Sikhisim back to the stoneage whilst it had developed as a modern and progressive religion. Protein contains 4 calories per gram Carbohydrates contain 4 calories per gram Fat contains 9 calories per gram Protein, is the first of these to be metabolized, then excess carbs are metabolized and fat is stored. Your calories are probably higher then your resting rate. You need to check the other parts of your diet, the protien is probably the best thing if your fat.

The only reason I ask is because Maharaaj was very fond of nataks, used metaphors to explain life etc. So its important to realize, poetic writing especially 17th centuary poetic writing is not meant to be literal rather metaphorical. Especially when we consider Sikhi stays away from mystics and magic.
