Live broadcasting is being done by Raaj Radio on monday, tuesday and wednesday if everything goes to plan. From 7-8pm. Manpreet Singh Kanpur wala is in Telford these three days alongside bibi ji. The Sunday programme (11th) will be broadcasted 5-8pm on Raaj Radio.

Jasbir Singh Chandigarh is attending on Sunday 4th December. Apardeep Singh from Derby, and Bhai Manpreet Singh Kanpur Sahib Wale are also attending on Sunday 11th December. The Programme is hopefully going to be broadcasted on Raj Radio (11/10/05) Ofcourse Guru ji is going to be there, without Guru ji there is no keertan, no panth, nothing. But if a certain persons style of keertan attaches your mind to Guru Ji's feet then there is no harm in this. Aslong as you go there to sing Guru ji's praises, and see Gods light in the person doing keertan seva it doesnt matter. In second thought the poster has too many pictures of Bibi ji on it, the person who made it doesnt attend keertan programmes so its an honest mistake - in the future we will try make posters with better pictures. No offence intended people, sorry for any distress caused.

Dear Sir/Madaam, there is a sikh wedding take place at your hotel on the 16th October in blackpool. unfortunately the sikh holy scriptures are being taken to an environment which is of utmost disrespect. As sikhs we refrain from drugs/alcohol/ciggarettes so for the sikh holy scriptures to be taken there (who we treat as our living Guru) is the greatest dishonour. Please can you inform the family and/or hotel to stop the holy scriptures being disrespected. any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated. thanks for your time. i see what your saying pheena ji. and you do have a point but in this case the bad outweighs the good that would come from the situation. this is nothing but disrespect of our guru ji. the good that would come out of people getting maharaj's darshan is not overlooked - but it is different from when guru nanak dev ji went to sajjan thug's or other great sinners. they could understand the language he was speaking. the campaign is not made so that people cannot get darshan of guru ji if they are not amritdhari - ofcourse not. but the minimum that we can do is ask people to come to gurudwara. The minimum respect is upheld in most. if we dont respect our guru ji, how can we ever fold our hands before him and ask for something? please make sure as many people come to the event, its no good banging keyboards if your not going to attend the wedding and physically protest. how can we call ourselves sikhs (of the guru) if we do nothing when our guru ji is disrespected? if we dont stand up now and show our united stance now, it'll keep happening. today a hotel, tommorow a pub. (makes me sick when i hear people say they will be too tired/working/watching simpsons) sorry if i've offended anyone.

if someone calls themself a sikh of their guru, and does nothing when their guru is disrespected - shouldnt really be called a sikh. forget about work, football or whatever you had planned. this should be your priority.

sister yasmin, just because two people out of thousands have misinterpreted our religion doesnt mean that everyone on the forum should be condemned. in the same way, i believe the people who carried out the bombings have taken your religion and misinterpreted it. all over the world, people are being killed simply because of their religion. Be it in isreal/palestine or the punjab. but the killing of innocent people is never going to solve anything, apart from stir up more tensions, causing more hate. sorry for any mistakes.

We represent Guru Gobind Singh because the khalsa, is a representation of him. "I made the khalsa in my likeness" "Khalsa meroo Roop hai KHAS!" So when we wear turbans and keep beards, or even people read about the mere name "Singh/Kaur" it instanltly links to our whole religion. .O.

this is a really good example how one person makes everyone think that a whole nation of people is the same as that one. that is why we must try and act responsibly at all times, it only takes one name "Mr Singh/Mrs Kaur" in the newspaper for everyone to think that the Guru and his sikhs are bad people! We represent Guru Gobind Singh!

aslong as you dont go start beliving in crazy things like its ok to take weed (in any form) or eat meat, and follow the basic principles of sikhism i.e take amrit and love God and Guru, you dont need a really complex rehat.
