Bhai Daya Singh, Bahi Dharam Singh, Bhai Himmat singh, Bhai Muhkam Singh, Bhai Sahib Singh so first daya or love and compassion, then dharam a righteous living, and then courage, then a leader, and then last is sahib or master. so first love compassion and understanding is needed, not be a ruler and master or soldier first and then try for being a compasionate person, only a sant can give the 1st qualities.

Do you think smashing someones windows will really make them listen to you? The sarkars that tried to finish Sikhs be it mughal, or Indian tried to use violence to stop sikhs from speaking out. did it work? no, not really. The end of the mughals was with the use of guru gobind singh ji's pen. The use of violence should be a LAST RESORT. Hitting someone and breaking their things in most cases wont work, the wedding still went ahead. maybe try smash the comitee up, stop them agreeing to weddings.

as you can see, one of the miri piri nishan sahibs is slightly taller than the other. the tall one represents being a sant, the smaller one soldier. so a saint is more important than a soldier. although both are needed for a sikh

depends where you're from. town punjabi is closer to hindi. pind punjabi is still awesome

my mum and dad have never done it :D. although the darbar and palikin of guru granth sahib don't have any pictures on them. i think guru granth sahibs throne should be decorated with shastar and bani, not pictures.

i agree with you. theres nothing wrong. they help show and remember our history. the only thing i see wrong is when people start bowing down to the pictures when the guru granth sahib is behind them.

rather than over complicating things, just burn the pictures. they are representing something, even if those pictures look nothing like the gurus. burn all of it.

don't they call him yusoo mussi or something in punjabi. thats what they say on glory tv.... anyway i know this singh and he went to this interfaith thing. this nun was there and she said to the singh this is how jesus looked and how the vicars should look like (beards and hair).

"tussi" can be for people that you respect, your parents or teachers or elderly people. you can refer to your friends as tun. if hyou want to call everyone as tussi do it. listen to dhaddi vaaran and kathain punjabi, talk to your friends in punjabi too. also doin paath can help with understanding and reading (helped me a lot).
